wait...so a PPV quality is measured in the number of title changes now? Exactly what I was thinking..it's so stupid people think that way. Longer reigns bring more credibility to the titles. Well-put, which is why I never understood all the Cena bashing when he was champ. This ppv was so-so, no match here really stood out. Although Edge back on SD is going to bring a much needed main eventer to help the group over there.

This Survivor Series reminds me of Survivor Series 2003 where the show started a great build to Wrestlemania. I think this show has planted the seeds for WM24.

I thought the PPV was overall pretty solid. HBK/Orton was pretty good, but to me a bit too short. I really am a huge HBK mark and want to see him with the belt at least once more, but oh well. Taker/Batista was awesome, but I didn't dig the finish. The match was going great and a clean win by either man would have made it better. Happy Edge is back though, but since I don't watch SD! I won't see much of it, lol.

It was a solid show. It's the first time in a while I didn't feel ripped off by a WWE PPV. They did a good job of making Orton and Michaels look strong. I was wondering how they'd manage to book the match without killing one of the wrestlers' heat, but they pulled it off. My only real complaint was the Hell in a Cell. I thought it was boring. That used to be my favorite gimmick match, but it is falling quickly. We haven't had a really good one since HBK vs. Triple H.

I really liked how they ended the Class Survivor Series match. Giving Hardy the pin was a really smart move on their part, in my opinion.

I absolutely hated this PPV. It pissed me off to no end Thanks for your insight The Hell in a Cell wasn't particularily great, and the end made me so mad it isn't even funny. You do not screw the fans out of a real finish in HELL IN A CELL! No no, totally. And the elimination match sucked. Once it came down to Hardy and HHH, I knew they would rally to defeat the entire other team. At the very least, Umaga should've taken out Hardy, and lost to HHH, so that upset me. The ECW title match wasn't very good, and the divas match sucked. The only match I really enjoyed was HBK/Orton, which was better than expected

I agree with you on that account. I would have much rathered Edge come in after the match. I didn't even want Batista to win the match, but having him beat Taker cleanly would have been a much better ending than Edge screwing Taker out of the title. They should have started the whole Edge angle on SmackDown. I would have preferred it, if Edge didn't come back at all tonight - or ever again, for that matter... he just does not interest me - never has... Oh, and Martin Brodeur > Henrik Lundqvist, tbh...

Sure buddy and you watch hockey. And you watch pro wrestling. No, scratch that.. Sports Entertainment. I don't think i'd ever see a wrestling fan be snobbish towards a real sport.

Tonight PPV was alright...
Elimination match was disappointed to see Kane was elimination first. He's MONSTER, but he elimination first?!
Khali Vs Hornswoggle was big let down. I was looking forward for this match, but Finlay caused that end up DQ, but which was mean Finlay turn to Face?
WWE Champion match was possible best match of the night, that was very entertained! I am happy to see two wrestlers finally doing full match without DQ or stop at middle for any caused.
HITC was very disappointed, I except they would went more than that, such as climb to top of the cell, or doing some brutality moves, etc. But as long that was good to see Edge return. But there shouldn't be end like as that, really. Because this is Hell in the Cell match, of course!
Overall I would say 6/7 out of 10.

By far, the worst Pay Per View I've seen in years. And that says something. Unbelievable that this is supposed to be one of the biggest PPVs of the year and once again NO TITLE CHANGES TAKE PLACE! I don't care that this dyke is back on SmackDown to bore me to death and get into some lame feud with Taker. this PPV, this company, Edge, Orton. Thank God Jericho is coming back tomorrow otherwise I would seriously have to contemplate whether or not I'm watching WWE anymore. I'm through with PPVs from now on...I really am. Paying $40 for no title changes is just a slap in the face to the fans and is almost as insulting when you do it at one of the big PPVs just as much as DQ finishes to title matches are. Sure buddy and you watch hockey. aren't you mexican?

I think HIAC was given an unappropriate ending, Edge should have def. ran out afterwords, but ya know, they'll just prolong the Tista/Taker feud, with adding Edge in it, so im sure we'll eventually see a clean winner, since theyve already had 3 no contests.

PPV was solid, matches were solid and there was some really good stuff in there.
But no title changes makes me sad. And before people say "title changes make a PPV", no that don't but they largely fit into the argument of nothing has changed since the PPV, and really things do have to change at a PPV to entice people to watch the shows after it. And did Survivor Series do that well yes it did. We saw Edge although I wasn't really happy he interfered in the HIAC and thought that it took away from the match a bit. But great to see Edge back. Orton/Michaels I didn't really care about since Orton just bores me but whatever, still a decent match with a pretty lame finish. The classic Survivor Series match was probably the MOTN for me, great action all round although slightly predictable, wish the heels would've won.
Overall was it the greatest PPV? No, but still a very solid show.

I enjoyed the show. It wasn't that bad. But it was a far cry from Survivor Series 2003.
