i know it was originally a parody of the Y2K problem, but does it actually stand for anything ?
I heard it stood for 'Yes to Jericho' at one point but i'm not sure

I always thought of it as 'yell 2 jericho' for some reason.....
But Im pretty sure it was copying Y2K, and just stuck.

It's a spin on Y2K, as he was the Millenium Man.

Y stands for yellow, which runs down Jericho's back.
2 is in, "Jimmy, do you have to number 1, or 2?"
J stands for jerk, which is what Jericho is! (I think)
Anyone remember that?

Not too sure what it means, but if Jericho is there to "save WWE", then I sure as hell hope he can save the tag-team division because it DEFINITELY needs saving at this point. Hell, I think it's beyond saving and not even Jericho can save that mess.

Wasn't it a spin-off on the whole "Y2K" situation?

I believe it's just a spin off of Y2K.
I don't think there is anything else to it..

That nickname became obsolete in 2002.

Yeah, I don't think it actually stood for anything in particular. Because K rhymed with J, it had a nice ring to it. "Y2K" was so common everywhere you looked, that it didn't need any further explanation. Everyone knew that it was in reference to the day when toasters would go crazy and murder children. I'm glad we all got through it.

I always thought it was all about the millenium and the Y2K thing and because he was supposed to debut then so they changed he 'K' to 'J'

It was a Spin Off of Y2K. As he joined in 1999, he turned it into Y2J and it has just stuck.
