They are doing a pretty good job in building him up. all they need to do is give him a decent US title run for like 2-3 months then maybe win WHC just like john cena did.

Matt may have paid his dues, but so did Brooklyn Brawler but he was never given the World title was he? Matt Hardy is a very good wrestler but has little promo skills and despite getting a pop shows little charisma, obvious example was his big return to feud with Edge a few years ago. This was a golden opportunity and yet matt hardy for me ruined the feud tripping over his words & looking so uncomfortable in interview after interview, remember being Champ requires more than wrestling ability. I'd see a US run coming but I feel that is as high as management will ever allow him to get

I think he's great at promos. Both him and Jeff have improved alot since their 'Dudleys/E&C' era. Obviously, Matt needs to improve abit further, but that's all he needs to do in my opinion. Maybe get a bit more over with the fans also. Matts promo's are GOLD compared to Jeff's. Ive always thought Jeff Hardys mic skills were HORRIBLE. He seems like he reading right off of a cue card. He's ok sometimes i think when he's really feeling the emotion like when he just gets backstage from a match but other then that Oh yeah, I definately agree. I'm just saying that both of them have improved. If we think back to the 'E&C/Dudleys' era, they barely spoke at all. But yeah, Matt's promos are significantly better than Jeff's and they always will be. I think it's Jeff's strong accent that does it for me

He was ready about 2 years ago, so yes.

He should be in high profile feuds and eventually work his way up to a title contender. The fans have always been behind Matt, at one point in time he was easily the most over on the whole Smackdown roster. There is nothing that should be preventing him from reaching that level, especially with all the injuries lately.

I don't think Matt would be a very good main eventer because imo his matches are rather boring. So i think that he should just stay with jeff as a tag team.

I don't see why he couldn't have a program with Edge over the belt. I'm not sure he would win the belt but I could see them using the program to see if he really could carry the belt.

He's not ready yet because they need to develop his character more outside of the ring. Sadly, his mic skills are mediocre at best. Hopefully he can improve so someday he can be main event calibur.

I'd rather they wait until the Hardys split up. I want to see a nice and long Hardy Boys feud, with Matt being the one who comes out on top at the end. Jeff is over like crazy, so he doesn't really need the win. After that I'd be all for Matt being champ. I think he'd make an excellent face champion. Yeah, his mic skills aren't anything special, but he's definitely no Bobby Lashley on the mic, so I think he could do it.

I say give him it, he was getting title shots against Lesnar back in 2003.
He is a very good performer and he's wanting to improve and he'd make a very marketable champion so I'm all for it, do it WWE!

Hardy couldn't be champion in the business prospective. He couldn't carry the company IMO.

Matt is ready for a singles title run. A feud with MVP for the US title would be freaking awesome.

As a tag team they have enough charisma and chemistry, but Matt doesn't have it on his own. One thing he could do is change his look. Everytime I see him I think about it. Maybe buzz his hair short with a little facial hair and a new attire, but right now he has reached a plateau and has become very stale after 10 years of not much singles success

he is deinitely ready. especially after watching his one-on-one matches with mid-carders the past several weeks on SD! he puts together one hell of a mtch with people like the Miz and Regal so I would say he IS ready.
