2 possibilities:
1. Steph and HHH, their real-life marriage finally revealed on TV, take over after Vince's death. Vince of course survives and exposes them.
2. I notices that Steph slipped up and said "My dad is..was..a great man", the whole family could be in on the hoax to get people to reveal how much they appreciate Mr. McMahon
Thoughts?

I would love if the family was in on the hoax, but I don't see HHH being revealed as being married to Steph.
When he returns he'll be the top babyface, and being aligned with the McMahons won't help him.

2 possibilities: 1. Steph and HHH, their real-life marriage finally revealed on TV, were behind it to take over the company, but Vince of course miraculously survived. 2. Steph slipped up and said "My dad is..was..a great man" with the whole family in on the hoax.Thoughts? Yes I noticed that too, it made me awfully suspicious. I think this is a hoax storyline with all the McMahon's in on it. With Stephanie messing up (on purpose of course) it seems like WWE is throwing us some hints maybe.

The whole "My dad is... was..." line was to imply that she's not used to the fact that he's dead. People do that all the time when poeple die, they talk about them in present tense. I don't know if you've ever had someone close die but it feels awkward when you talk about them in a past tense. It was done purposely to show that she's struggling to cope with his death, trust me. And I think both of those theories are crap theories.

She looked kind of worried like "Uh oh I almost gave it away" type look.

What I hope will happen is that we won't get cheated as fans and there will be closure to this storyline, such as someone actually being responsible. What will most likely happen is that it will be revealed that Vince set it up and is alive. He did it for some half-baked reason the WWE creative staff came up with and two monthes of storyline that was carefully place will feel like a waste. I mean obviously storyline wise McMahon is returning at some time and point since they say he's "presumed dead" it's just a matter of time. To me that's the typical WWE storyline, it's one big metaphorical blue ball. The build is great but the ending doesn't satisfy you.

I think the whole "is...was...a great man" was just the fact that she still can't believe her daddy is gone.
