Like any sport just as much as the WWE is scripted you need to get over to be successful so I was wondering who do you guys think between wwe created or signed wrestlers who are some of the biggest busts or guys who just didnt make it in wwe history?
I am going to name 3 off the top of my head the Masterpeice Chris Masters, Carlito and Test.
Masters- Had the look and was given many opportunities but was terrible in the ring and had to rely on a store bought physique and that doesn't work any more.
Carlito-Looked like the complete package was over as a heel and face, second generation, but apperently was lazy and looked like a successor to The Rocks roll of most entertaining wrestler but as of right now is just fizzling out of the wwe
Test-In the late 90's looked like this guy was going to be a monster won a couple of belts and maybe it the steph/hhh angle would of been about him instead of vince maybe history would of been different but was given a ton of opportunities and it just didnt take Then was given the green light in ECW but still couldnt pull it to gether then was given one episode of TNA it looks like his career is over
Who do you guys think are busts and what reasons this could be a fun thread

i'd agree with those 3 aswell as
Charlie Haas, Shelton Benjamin, Marcus Cor Von, the highlanders, Rhyno was badly misused
A-Train was a big bust too

Knuckleball Schwartz....could have been the biggest heel in the buisness. All he would have to do is wear the rival baseball jersey of the city they were in. Think of the boos he would have gotten in the Fleet Center (if its still called that) if he would have wore a Yankees jersey in there

Kane - He was a unstoppable monster that everyone but five people jobbed to him when he won the belt. Should have had a longer reign.
RVD - Do I even have to give a example?! He was the only Alliance guy that was getting pop's. They Should have made him jump to the WWF, instead of WWF looking like the place no one wanted to be.(Angle and Palumbo were the only people to jump. I think Stasiak did too("What the hell does Mecca mean?!").) Plus look at Unforgivin 2002. He was on fire in 02.
Among Others are: Christian, Carlito, Cor Von, Sabu, and others.

The Great Khali, Giant Gonzales, Heidenreich.
They wanted us to be so into these guys, but they all sucked.

DDP His first appearence in a WWE Ring got one of the biggest pops a Crowd has ever made. He should have been a Main Event Heel, and gone on to win WWE Championships. Instead, he jobbed to Undercard People, and eventually went.
Sean O'Haire He had great In Ring abiltys, a wicked finisher and a suitable manager. He could easily have done a Brock Lesnar and gone all the way, but instead he only lasted a meer 3 months.
Marcus Cor Von Now, many people were expecting him to be pushed straight to the Main Event Scene on a lackluster Raw Brand in need of a new Star, but instead he was unhyped, and put straight to the ECW Midcard to make up numbers in Tag Matches. They could have used him the way they used Bill Goldberg.
Scott Steiner, Val Venis, Goldust and Ultimo Dragon were also candidates, although Venis and Goldust did have their limelight at one point, WWE chose not to push them when they returned to the later stages of their careers.
Mr Perfect should also have been pushed more when he came back in 2002. A Dream Match at Wrestlemania 18 with Kurt Angle should have happened, especially since they were the last 2 to get eliminated in the Rumble.

I'm really pissed they didn't use Cor Von better. I met him before he was sigined to WWE, and he was quite possibly one of the nicest guys you could ever meet.

This might step on some toes but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Goldberg. WWE thought the former WCW mega star would help turn business around but he didn't. I'm not sure too many diehard Goldberg fans are going to look back at his time in WWE as a fond memory. Big, million dollar bust for WWE.

Pretty much anything they brought in that was a success in WCW.
WWE version of:
nWo Goldberg Scott Steiner DDP Invasion storyline Cruiserweight Title
...no wonder Sting hasn't wanted to sign...

id have to say sandman when he was with the WWE and Bobby Lashley It was on the internet, so take it with a grain of salt, but I heard before he got fired that they were going to push him as a heel to the IC Division.

It still pisses me off the way they used Goldberg. It was the simple "Who's next" formula... and WCW perfected it and made millions off of the man. WWE had to up a good thing and make him look like crap. But hell, everything they brought in from WCW and tried to "fix" sucked pretty hard. The NWO was good for about two weeks until they turned Hogan face. Then Hall got fired... Nash got hurt... AGAIN, thus forcing them to do the brand split. And here we are now...
