I'm a Hardy fan so my opinion might be biased, but I'm really glad that Matt Hardy has been getting the push that he's been getting lately. If you think about it he's been in the WWE for 10 years and they never made him anymore than a mid-carder, tag team champion and a short reign as CW champion. Hardy has paid his dues and deserves to be in the main event/world champ level. Finlay and Regal are both great wrestlers, but just like everyone else they will lose matches. No one cares if they lost a match and it will not affect them in any way if they lose to a very deserving Matt Hardy. If anything, these matches helped Finlay and Regal, because it helped to show the world their talent and ability more.
Finlay has been a main eventer for a year now and Hardy has not been in the main event on SD once. It's about time that he got a push and finally made it to that main event level that he should be on and for those of you who say that Hardy can't carry the company STFU. He has alot of talent and a humongous fan base so he is capable of carrying the company just as much as Cena, Edge, Batista and especially Finlay and Regal. Hopefully, he will get a long awaited title run soon.

Regal and Finlay just aren't in feuds, and it seems like Matt is being set up for the main event. And do you know what? If he was getting sent up, this would be the perfect way. A win in a hard fought, 20 minute match over Finlay and Regal gets a wrestler like Matt recognized, and with all the losses Regal and Finlay already have, it doesn't hurt them to pull out all the stops and still come up short. Both guys get recognized, and Matt gets a rub.
What do you find so wrong about it? Hardy isn't worthless, he isn't great on the mic, but he has a look to him, he is over, and he has wrestling talent. A guy like him could be a great champion.

you think Murdoch and Cade are great champions...Your opinion is null void.
Hardy is only good for tag team stardom. Without his other half he isnt anything. He time was wasted no use in going back now.

Matt Hardy is pretty good, but NEEDS a new look and NEEDS a major gimmick overhaul. New look, new music, new mic skills lol. Otherwise, it's all good.

Finlay and Regal are on the roster to make other guys look good. They are among the ranks of Val Venis and Funaki. Finlay and Regal are good enough, but they aren't marketable and are rather low on their respective roster's depth chart. WWE is a business, they promote guys that they can make a buck on. If you take someone like Regal or Finlay who have been used as enhancement talent to one degree or another for the bulk of their careers, it's not believable to push them beyond a certain level anyway. No one would buy it and they sure as hell wouldn't spend money to see it.
You know, at times like this, I can't help but wonder if the Internet were big in the 80s if people would cry, bitch and complain about Koko B. Ware never getting a title run.

Someone has to win and someone has to job, some would complain if Matt had lost that match during his push while others, you, complain that he should have not won. Eitherway, its a lose-lose situation on here.

Idk I like Matt...I like him better then Jeff, and tbh I don't see anything wrong with him getting a push. However I would want to see Finlay and Regal get pushes to so yea.

Finlay should of won on Smackdown, or at least of got a two count with Hardy kicking out.

Matt Hardy actually deserves his push, unlike guys like Cena, Lashley, Batista, MVP and so on, Its a pretty BS that those guys get pushed before Matt even does, since Matt's been with the WWE since 98, He's a great wrestler, He has charisma and he doesn't complain ( Unlike other wrestlers who want to be Over ).

Alright, it's obvious that I too am a Hardy fan, but I look at this from an unbiased perspective.
Matt Hardy has a huge fanbase, just like his brother, there's no denying it. They sell a lot of merch, and I believe that they put some butts in seats. As for either of them becoming world champs, I kinda see it as a stretch. As far as Matt is concerned, I think he's a good wrestler, not great, but good. He is tailor made for mid-card to upper card, just not main event. His current push has got to be the result of a built-in feud with another, in my opinion, undeserving champ in Edge. The feud they had in 200{5?} was undoubtedly the talk of the internet community for some time, but failed to make box office sized numbers. Matt has decent mike skills....when heel. My biggest complaint about Matt Hardy promos is that, if you've heard one, you've basically heard them all. It's usually butt-kissing, self promotion about he's not going to die etc. When I look at deserving main eventers, I look at things like Could this guy wrestle an Iron Man match? Would parades of people in the Philippines really flock to malls to see him? Could they really market bed sheets or 13 different style hats out of this guy? I don't see Matt fitting the bill for any of those {I can see 1 or 2 of the 3 for Jeff, but we won't get into that} So is Main Event the place for Matt Hardy? I don't think so, but within the WWE promotional powers, anything can happen to change my opinion.

Vince and the rest of the WWE crew could care less about in ring talent. Its only the look that counts to them.
