In his book I think he said it stood for "One More Round"

Yeah, in his book Austin revealed that it stood for "One More Round." He had those letters put on the vest because he knew going into Wrestlemania 19 that his match against The Rock would be his final match.

What did "BMF" stand for that he used to have on his vest? (though I have a suspicion of what it means..)

Was his match against the Rock really his last match? I don't recall this?

Was his match against the Rock really his last match? I don't recall this? Yup, it was his last match. Rock and Austin had an exchange after the match, it has been said the words were 'I love you' exchanged by either man. HUGE sign of respect from the two. Really moving when you get things like that in a wrestling ring, imo.

I actually respect that Austin hasn't come back to wrestle another match since 2003. It's like when he said he was going to retire, he meant it. It's great to see him on TV in non-wrestling roles, but for him to really be able to walk away from the ring like that when you have guys like Flair, Foley, Funk, etc. who keep coming back again and again. Even with a bad neck, Austin could still wrestle an occassional match here and there to earn some money and drive up PPV buyrates, but he doesn't.

Well it could be taken two ways,
1. That SCSA is man enough to walk away from a business he loved when he knew he could no longer be the best he could be...
or
2. He didn't love it as much as others and it was easy to stay away...

He didn't love it as much as others and it was easy to stay away... if number 2 was true...then he wouldn't come back in any role as often as he does...

if number 2 was true...then he wouldn't come back in any role as often as he does... Yeah, for the Rock it's number 2 I think that's an unfair thing to say. I mean the Rock is trying his hand in another business now, that doesn't mean he doesn't love wrestling. I swear wrestling fans act like if a wrestler decides he is done before he grows satle, then he only did it for the money. Maybe guys liek Jericho and the Rock have so a great respect for the business they didn't hang around for the money.
