Thats Barnxbee and I strongly believe to GOD that it was roid rage and that the roids were for his neck Well Mark, I respect your passion, but bringing up old usernames that haven't been used since the mid 2000s is hardly going to accomplish anything. Again though, I respect the passion.

He should replace "Chris Benoit 1967 - 2007" with his username.

Well, the fact that Benoit had LEGAL steroids makes your post invalid.

You're an idiot, truly. WWE doesn't demand you do steroids, they don't even encourage it. Not to mention the fact you compared him to a man who killed millions of people. Just wow. It's encouraged when McMahon continues to constantly push 300 pound muscleheads and only 300 pound muscleheads. What about bret hart, & shawn michaels,

Eddie Guerrero? Ken Kennedy? Randy Orton? Steve Austin? Kurt Angle? Chris Jericho? We could sit all day going back and forth with names. The fact is, if you want a legitimate push in WWF, you need to be a huge musclehead. Batista is huge. John Cena isn't small. Bradshaw is big. Lesnar was big. Triple H is big. Goldberg is big. The Rock wasn't small. Lashley and Show are big. Even McMahon himself is big. All major world champs in the last decade or so. well within the last decade we have also had wrestlers like rey mysterio, eddie guerrrero, shawn micheals, randy orton, edge, rvd, austin, mankind who was big but not muscle, kurt angle, and benoit himself so it has nothing to do with those who roid and those who dont but if you want your comment to be true than all wrestlers who roid should have killed for some reason or another

I can understand where the original poster is coming from. Looking at it through political eyes, who would stand to defend pro wrestling, with the negative stereotypes that it brings with it? Do not forget, you've had guys like L. Brent Bozell calling for government action against pro wrestling for some time now. These people do not like to like facts get in the way of their own publicity and no one outside of teh wrestling community, which already is viewed with such disdain, would be able to speak to the fact that the steroids were legal or that Chris passed his last test and things like that.
Yes, the same argument could be made against the NFL. The difference is that the NFL is a billion-dollar industry and has the support of very, very large corporate sponsors who line their pockets quite well on the back of the NFL. Besides that, it would also mean calling off the Super Bowl which is tantamount to calling off Christmas in this day and age.
It would not shock me to see someone from the political arena attempt to score points with the soccer moms by attempting to regulate or censor pro wrestling after this.
They would be complete wrong but since when has that ever stopped a politician? After all, 50% of the country voted for a guy who laid claim to inventing the Internet.

Bret and Shawn were/are very talented and didn't need to be ripped to the max to be successful. I think what he was saying is that if you're a musclehead than you have a much better chance at being successful without having as much talent......just look at the main eventers these days....Lashley, Cena, ,and Batista are heavy on muscle, light on talent. They need to bring in a third party drug tester and not leave it to Vince and his shady behavior, if they have any real interest in stopping this problem.

Heh, with the direction they kept heading in, the WWE deserved to be shut down even before this. At the very least temporarily.

That by appearance seems to be the case but then you have to wonder about the wellness program but lets be honest we all know the wellness program is corrupted too cause Look at Orton its been reported he failed it how many times? Yet he iss till employed

Steroids didn't have anything to do with this! Get educated before you blame something.
People keep using the term "roid rage". Believe me, if Benoit had a Rage, that house would have been ripped apart. But the police even said everything was in order. Rages are erratic moods. They don't last for a whole weekend. They don't allow you to watch 3 hours of a ppv with your son before you smother him.
And the idea of wrestling out of the US is ridiculous. Maybe we should get the internet out of the US too since people take advantage of it so much.

Why not shutdown NFL?? People do roids, kill people, and die there too QFT, and OP this is a intellectually- disabled topic.
