Why would he pass the torch to CM Punk?

Why would he pass the torch to CM Punk? Just a young entity that the fans quickly took to, much the case of himself, I honestly don't know why I worded it like that. I just kind of feel, while it's unfathomable how they'd face off, they could have an incredible back and forth match that would elevate Punk to permanent main eventer status. Regardless of whether or not Sting still can go like he did 10-15 years ago.

Sting vs. The Undertaker Sting vs. Edge Sting vs. Ric Flair Sting vs. Shawn Michaels Sting vs. John CenaNO! vs Undertaker vs Edge vs Shawn Michaels vs Ken Kennedy vs MVP vs Chris Jericho vs Shelton Benjamin vs Elijah Burke you are wrong . sting should face john cnea because they are so alike . sting & joh cena were trained by the same people also put face paint on cena & he will look just like a young sting.joh cena used to do a stinger splash when he started in WWE.also sting's last match should be at wrestlemania losing to the undertaker.

sting vs. edge wouldnt be all that good. thats like a RAW match right there.
Sting vs. John Cena - with sting winning, and handshake after. Sting vs. Undertaker - ongoing feud with one win a piece and a rubber match with idk as the winner. Sting vs. HHH - If HHH was heel, it could be one of the best feuds. they could learn from the mistakes made with HHH/Goldberg and turn it into a classic. Sting vs. HBK - no explanation needed. Sting vs. The Rock - they could use stings real dislike of the Rock to feul a feud for the books. Sting vs. Ric Flair Sting vs. Vince McMahon - Creative can come up with so much stuff for this feud. Vince gets like 10 dudes to go after them and sting clears house like the old days. and then they fight at the PPV
plus, they could bring back some old WCW stimpulations for the hell of it. what sucks is they wouldnt let sting come from the rafters.

I stopped reading after you mentioned MVP. You're so cold man. Excuse me for thinking MVP (who I like) could pull out some good matches. upwards of fifth-teen minute matches. Would be a great choice for Sting to wrestle and look decent in the ring. Nah, I like MVP too. I just don't think they would mesh well together in a match. Sting in WWE wouldn't serve any purpose except nostalgia. I'd put him in with Flair, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, etc. I don't think he'd do good with any of the newer guys, but hey, that's just me.

Sting/Taker & Sting/HBK are the only ones that interest me.

Sting vs Shawn Michaels has potential to be the best match ever.

I think if Kennedy could channel the quality of match he had with Undertaker at Armageddon last year, that he'd work well with Sting. But I could agree, the point is to get Sting matches that have been out of reach. Though some new guys (very few) would have great matches if Sting gave the effort to them.
