It ended when the Rock went to Hollywood, and Austin quit his in ring role. EXACTLY. I think Austin and Rock "WERE" the attitude era. Austin had Raw and the Rock had Smackdown. There fued defined the attitude era. And not to mention each of their matches at WM were all classics. So pretty much when the Rock went Hollywood and Austin just pretty much stopped wrestling...
