During the Michaels vs Cena replay on the "Best of 2007" Smackdown, every time JR mentions the "STFU," the "U" gets censored, and there is a pause after "STF." It sounds really awkward, like "CENA HAS TRIED ALL MATCH TO GET THE STF-------- ON MICHAELS!"
I just thought it would be an interesting thing to point out.

Yeah pretty dumb. Why is SD rated PG? It should be the same as RAW. It is a small thing but it annoys me. We never see Blood, edgier storylines, or cursing on SD. Even the word Ass gets censored lol.

Its because Smackdown comes on local channels and they dont wat to give thereselves a bad name. And most of the channels it gets shown on plays cartoons in the mornings so the kids will watch.

I think Smackdown is edited because it's on basic cable, and is on earlier than RAW.

IT SHOULD BE STF! STFU IS JUST A HALF-intellectually- disabled "TXT TALK" WAY OF SAYING IT BECAUSE CENA IS ABOVE CALLING IT THE STF! I MEAN, IF STF WAS THE NAME LOU THESZ CALLED IT, CLEARLY CENA NEEDS TO CALL IT SOMETHING DIFFERENT, RIGHT? RIGHT!?!?

It's stupid that they censored it but I don't think it really sounds awkward since STF is the real name for the move anyway.

Clever went out the window when JR called Cena a "submission specialist" earlier this year. You kinda need more than one move to be a "specialist."

The reason why they censored the "U"; is because Smackdown is broadcast on network tv. Since it's on network; the WWE has to follow FCC regulations, unlike Raw on USA cable which don't have to follow the same strict FCC guidelines. And since Smackdown is censored and rated PG; they have to do the same with the video.

They look for Vulgarity. This was actually brought up on the OTH season 4 box set. The creator said in commentary they wanted to block the "WFU" on the wall behind one of the characters but he had to explain it was the school the guy went to.

What annoyed me was i tuned into SD thinking it would be the SD best of only to find out it is just extended version of matches shown on the Raw and ECW best of shows. Totally useless and so predictable.

Because its not in the FCC regulations, and the woman is a wrestler. Vickie Guerrero is a wrestler? It's weird because, on Raw whenever a female, diva or not is attacked by a male, superstar or not they always turn the camera away or cut to commercials\promos. Vicki is on the roster, so YES SHE IS A WRESTLER! Every person that steps foot into that ring; has to have some sort of training, and since her last name is Guerrero; its evident! And when have they panned the camera away or cut to a commercial?

And when have they panned the camera away or cut to a commercial? I remember Maria was attacked by someone, and they cut to the audience, same with Trish being attacked by Big Daddy V. Also, Kane has chokeslammed a couple of divas (I think, might be one or two) and right then they'd always pan out. Nice to see we have yet another smart-ass on these forums. First off, being on the roster doesn't always mean you are wrestling. It means you are either a very important person to this show, or that you are involved in a major angle. Secondly, what the ? Just because her last name is Guerrero, doesn't mean she's a wrestler. Seriously, think before you post..

The thing that pissed me off the most last night was, during the Orton/HHH LMS, they turned the screen to black and white because of the blood.
