I never thought Evolution turning on Orton was that shocking. I thought everyone saw it coming as soon as he won the title. If anything, it came out of nowhere because they forced the face turn instead of letting it happen naturally like they did with Batista's face turn. However, I don't think anyone predicted Coach's heel turn in '03. Exactly. I really don't think it was that shocking- I saw it coming the minute Summerslam ended. Anyways, for me it's definitely Undertaker's heel turn in late 2001 where he made J.R. kiss McMahon's ass. That lead to my favorite era of Taker( or anybody for that matter) ever.. My thoughts exactly. No one...NO ONE...saw the Undertaker heel turn coming. I remember sitting and watching that and being legitimately shocked. With the pop he'd been receiving, Taker was the last guy I expected to go heel. If it had been a successful turn and Taker would have gone on a monster heel run, history would probably remember the turn more fondly. Really, really shocking, surprising turn.

Shawn Michaels turning on Marty Jannetty
The Rockers were my favorite tag team growing up and I really didn't want to see the group split without winning a tag team championship. When Shawn superkicked Jannety in the barber shop and immediately followed throwing him through the glass window...I saw it coming but I was still stunned that my favorite team was no more...

Tbh, I thought his heel run was utterly glorious. He played the monster heel so well, and even got a two-month title reign out of it. It's still my favorite title reign ever because he defended it almost every show and you actually felt he could lose it- his match with RVD where Van Dam " won" the belt, the ladder match against Jeff Hardy, the draw against Kurt Angle..

HBK superkick to Hogan to lead SummerSlam, and Vince & Austin end up shake hands at WrestleMania X7. I would sat the attitude Era was officially end at there.

When God turned heel on Shawn Michaels at Backlash God didn't turn heel...he was merely upholding his own commandment. Sunday is a day of rest, and God acted accordingly. If anything, Shawn turned heel on God, by breaking the Sabbath.
