97- 2001... When there was a variety of wrestling on cable tv, without ordering it.. WWF, WCW, ECW, MLW.....

2000 & 2006. And unfortunately, I didn't watch a single WWE/F show in either year as I was watching WCW in 2000, and had taken a break from wrestling by the time 2006 arrived.. so out of years I've seen..2001. My heart was still deep with wrestling then. I was stunned when Austin turned heel, I was crying when Austin turned heel again, I poured water on myself when Angle won the title...

I don't particularly have one favorite year in wrestling, but 1993-94 and 1996-2001 (way more than one year ) are when I loved wrestling the most. Everything after 2002 is a blur to me, honestly, and I guess that just says something about how memorable the New Generation/Attitude Eras are after all these years.

2nd half of 1998 to the middle of the year 2000 was just a great time to be a wrestling fan I feel.

Honestly I'm enjoying it a lot right now, especially due to the fact that it's in a rebuilding state. All the stars basically either quit(injury or movies in the Rock's case) or are getting too old. Especially with how Wrestle Kingdom in Japan is featuring workers from 5 promotions(NJPW, AJPW, Zero1, and TNA), it's a pretty cool thing. Plus NOAH and Dragon Gate working in ROH. Wrestling is getting pretty diverse except American main stream. I see it as a pretty exciting time to be a fan. WWE is kinda crapty but looking at it, you have to have crapty times in wrestling to get great times.
