What is it with everyone wanting to put the IC title on him? This isn't 1993......that belt means NOTHING. It wouldn't do a damn thing for Kennedy.

I did up until his return from his suspension. Everything he's done since that has been pretty "meh."

I like him and I think he is great on the mic, but I don't consider him a serious world title contender right now.

yes, he is over and is great in the ring and the mic. hardy is over as well, but his ring work isnt as good as it used to be and he is horrible on the mic.
Kennedy should get the title in a year or two, two being max. He needs maybe 2 IC/US title reigns before he gets the title
and im a huge Kennedy mark saying that

I really like Kennedy and i see him being champ. I just think that currently, he is working towards it. The win over HBK was huge and i think Kennedy is building towards the top level and it is indeed hard to do on Raw. SD was better for him. I say let him get some victories over some big Raw stars then move him to SD to win the title there.

Nah... he's nothing compared to HBK, Jericho, Triple H... even Randy Orton, JBL and John Cena. He shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as these guys, nevermind being a champion among them. His appearance screams midcarder, and his workrate is extremely overrated... having failed to truly impress me at all. His mic work is definitely his strength, and even that is overrated. If I were WWE's head booker, I'd give him at least a year or two before re-evaluating his potential to main event, because at this point I'd say no-go.

I think if they get Kennedy to screw maybe a top face on Raw out of a WWE Title Match for him to get a lot of heat then I think he should get a title run. Eventually he will though.

No I don't really see it. I think he's lost all his fire, if anything he should have stayed on Smackdown and right now he'd be in the picture with Edge/Batista/Undertaker, which would have been GREAT for him.

I think he's boring. So, no Says a Lashley fan. Anyways. Give Kennedy the IC title for awhile, give him a nice run with that and see how it goes.

not yet, give it some time. people want new guys pushed directly into the main event scent too fast. his match with hbk on raw this past week was the only good match he's had since being on raw. give it some time & if he stays consistent & gets some good momentum going then sure.

I really never think that. Maybe IC champ but never WWE champ. He'd be fine as World champ, that's as crap as the Cruiser title as of September 2007.
