Now I know everybody here thinks John Cena has very little talent. But the one thing that you have to admit is he makes other wrestlers finishers look amazing. I mean, when orton RKO's him it looks awsome, when triple h pedigree's him it looks awsome, when he gets chokeslamed it looks awsome, when he gets khali bommed it looks awsome, when he gets speared it looks awsome, etc. So John Cena may not be the best wrestler on the WWE roster, but he may be the best seller on it. There are a lot of things Cena does really well. No he isnt the most techinically sound. No he isnt the most aerial. No he isnt the best athlete. No I dont like to you use apostrophes. No he isnt the most gifted on the mat. No he doesnt have the best maneuevers. No his STF isnt the best submission for him to use. And no he doesnt have the best storylines. What Cena does have his an extreme desire to succeed. He has a desire to be the best he can be. He works extremely hard and has a fantastic backstage attitude. He has done everything the E has asked him to do. He sells merchandise like a merchandise whore. He is a good role model for the business. He has a hell of a physique, without being so incumbersome that he cannot move in the ring and becomes stiff as a board. He sells fairly good. He works his ass off. He is highly respected by his peers. Children and parents love him. He ceates a media frenzy. And for a time that wrestling is not mainstream, he is its main stream success. He has a boat load of charisma, which he uses to make up for his lack of in ring prowess. And to top it off he is a consumate professional who exemplifies sports entertainment! Thats why he is at the top of the E.

He could mail it in every night, collect his money and thats it, but he works hard to improve and at least puts on a watchable match.

Way to back up your claims with facts. Do i really need facts to say John Cena can't wreslte? Seriously. Yes, please, actually, come up with some. Because there are VERY few times that Cena doesn't provide a good match on pay-per-view. Say what you want about television but matches rarely get enough time anyway. There is a difference between WRESTLING and telling a story. John Cena does not have an expansive moveset but he sure as hell knows how to tell a story in the ring, and that is why he's a fantastic wrestler. Seriously.

I like Cena a lot, but the only thing I would change is the finisher. The FU is awful.

Well if you're expecting him to wrestle like Kurt Angle and Bret Hart, you're intellectually- disabled. The Rock couldnt wrestle, nor could Stone cold. If you're looking for WRESTLING, then you're watching the wrong company. Did I ever say either of them could wrestle? Because I don't recall it. Cena doesn't have alot of oppurtunities with good workers, but when he's in the ring with someone as exciting as HBK, and it's still incredibly boring, then obviously there's a problem. I highly doubt any of these 12 year olds ACTUALLY care about technical wrestling. But everytime they say something about people like jeff hardy they get bashed. I could see how you could find Cena entertaining, even though I personally don't, but to say he's a great wrestler is just intellectually- disabled. If you think the Shawn Michaels/John Cena matches were boring then you really can't call yourself a wrestling fan. They were the best matches of 2007 ANYWHERE. Whether it be WWE, TNA, ROH, NOAH, Dragon Gate or anywhere else.

Hurricane, i said Cena has talent, doesn't necessarily mean pure wrestling talent. Besides the people that just love to boo him, he gets a huge reaction every time. That means hes over, something that alot of people on the roster are having trouble with.
He has the crowd up when he wants, and down when he wants. And say what you want about his "comeback" at the end, but every time he does it, it gets a huge reaction.
And I have Benjamin in my sig because he's a great wrestler, im a big fan of technical wrestling like Kurt Angle and Benoit and Hart. So yes I know that Cena isn't as good as them, but I wont deny that he doesn't have talent. He's not my favorite, I dont necessarily like him, but he isn't that bad.

I dont think he takes the finishers good at all. Austin wrestled greatly in ECW,WCW.

Cena is my favorite wrestler in the WWE, I know whatever that's my opinion, he constantly is getting better in the ring and he does incorporate new things into his matches since he has been back from injury I would say he is even better, Cena-Kennedy was a great match, Kennedy is average and he made Kennedy look very good, nobody can deny that. Cena is the man, always will be.

Cena always delivers on PPV and that's what counts with me. John Cena is no Ric Flair from 1989, but at least he ain't Hulk "I Don't Have to Prove Anything after 1986" Hogan.

I've seen way worse wrestlers than John Cena. Unfortunately, people are sick of his gimmick and the way he always overcomes adversity (like Hogan in the 80s). The guy seriously needs a heel turn to be fresh. As long as his merchandise sells, that will never happen. The other thing people hate is that damn spinner belt.
