Date: March 8, 2007. Location: Oshkosh, WI. After the intermission, we had a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match between MVP and Jamie Noble. MVP won, but something tells me they'll pretend this never happened like they did when Jimmy Yang and Shannon Moore qualified for the Rumble at a house show. Credit: www.MVP-Online.org / www.wrestlingobserver.com-------------------------------------------------------------------------- Excellent news, on a side note: Matt Hardy made his in-ring return at that houseshow against Kevin Thorn who was managed by Matt Striker...i'm glad he isnt fighting Hardy at WM

So, that means the US Title won't be defended either. Wonderful.
Remember a time where most titles were actually defended at Pay Per Views?

WWE let me down on this one, mainly because a week or 2 ago, they could have started building Matt Hardy's return and mission to destroy MVP by taking what he holds dearest.

Gay indeed.
They had a big big long burning feud and they are chucking that out of the Mania card, WTF?
Let's hope they forget about it.

Yeah I hope they forget this one. Hardy/MVP sounded perfect for Wrestlemania, and sounded like a good undercard, singles 'bout. Honestly, I cant stand that the IC title hasnt been defended in years at Mania, and I hope we keep getting US title matches atleast.

That f*cking sucks, I was really hoping for a Matt v MVP at Wrestlemania but hey, WWE needs the Stars for the MITB instead of the other talent the WWE doesn't push right hey?

I think MVP's gonna win MITB, and they're going to something like they did with RVD and Shelton Benjamin in mid-2006.

Dear God, why does WWE always up mid-card dream matches? Any MVP fan is not an MVP fan if they don't want to see him lose the title at Wrestlemania to Matt Hardy. With all the heat and hype, it HAS to end at Mania. Now, MVP is gonna lose in some ing gay match at Judgment Day or Backlash. Will the quality be there? Maybe, but it won't be the same.

I hope this isn't true. They've built up MVP/ Hardy for months now, and they're just going to scrap it?!

I totally agree with you. Such a shame that the obvious choice has been disregarded. I'd understand if Matt's return was uncertain, but he's been in the ring... He needs to come back, and WWE needs to showcases one of the hotter feuds this past summer.

Yeah, the match would actually be a fantastic opener to Mania. and I agree, Mania is the only place the match would be given proper time, most likely. Also, Mania would be the perfect platform to re-start the feud.

Off topic: WHY IS STRIKER MANAGING THORN NOW?

Off topic: WHY IS STRIKER MANAGING THORN NOW? ...because Thorn can't talk. I think Thorn/V/Striker, would be a cool little trio/tag team for ECW.

Maybe they want Striker to be the next James Mitchell. With a stable of monsters... that or they know Striker's strong-point, and wanna get more out of him.

Well...seen as i am going to wrestlemania and my favourite wrestler wasnt on the card until yesterday, i am not really bothered what match hes in once hes on the card. MVP in MITB..A match that is not predictable and he actually has a chance at winning > MVP losing in a predictable match where he is obviously losing. i cannot speak for any MVP haters on here but thats my opinion and i am sticking to it, i hope MVP keeps the title until Judgment day while he loses it to Hardy and keeps the briefcase and cashes in at next years WM.

It's still not on WWE.com, so I'm not buying it.
