That's pretty lame. Then again, I don't see myself wanting to rent any games when it comes out anyways.

I was at Blockbuster earlier and they told me that they have no plans to carry Wii games anytime soon. They will have a few PS3 titles right after launch but not that many. That sucks for your Blockbuster because the one I work at is getting copies to buy and rent for both PS3 and Wii. We are also getting both systems.

The Blockbuster here where I live basically will sell copies of games, if you order them.
When WWE WM21 Came out.. I had asked the owner(I knew him, as my sister-in-law worked there at one point), to order me a copy. He only received one copy in, and rather than renting it out, he sold it to me.
I might call up and see if they're going to sell the systems at launch, or not.

I just talked to a guy at a EB Games close to where I live (Valpo, Indiana). He told me that they were supposed to get the Wii demo kiosks 2 weeks ago, then the previous week, and now this week. He said he'd be surprised if they got it setup pre-launch. I know some games stores have been reported to have unplayable Wii setups as of right now. Hopefully we start seeing them next week.

Yeah, they're unplayable because they have no Wiimotes - They're getting hand delivered.

Speaking of Wii remotes, I hear that stores are free to release Wii accessories and Wii software prior to the actual Wii launch. That's Wii-a-riffic.

I had my original Xbox controller like two weeks before the console came out. It really ups your anticipation and makes you want the console that much more.

Last year I sat in front of my TV for 2 weeks, with only a controller, and tried to imagine playing Xbox 360 because launch day still didn't arrive.

so does the wii come with the remote, or classic controller? and is the classic controller just like a gc controller? cause i think it would be hard to use a remote as a cantroller

The classic controller must be purchased seperately ($20 bucks). This is the classic controller:

Some games must use the controller, like I think Smash bros Brawl does.

I know that Brawl will also support the GC controller.
Also, you'll be able to play Virtual Console games with the GC controller, but you can't play GC games with the Virtual Console controller.
