Why do you hate anime?
Granted, a lot of what we get in America is lacking. But to hate it in general seems odd to me...
But I digress.
I think it looks great. Batman anime just seems to fit to me. Especially after some of the animes I've seen.
I'll be buying this as soon as it comes out.

The Lego Trailer is godly.
I don't like alot of anime on TV, but this looks alright to me. I have to say, it interests me ALOT MORE, than other Batman Cartoons.

cant wait for that to hit the theatre The anime? It's not. Also, to answer some people's questions as to why they don't like Anime. The only real anime i've ever watched, were like the original Ghost in the Shell and AKIRA. Besides that, alot of the newer stuff's animation, gives me headaches sometimes. I dunno what exactley it is, maybe the editing or use of certain bright colors, but sometimes the stuff is so fast paced and bright, I feel like i'm squinting the whole time I watch. Though, I did enjoy Afre Samurai that was on Spike some months ago. But I tried watching Animatrix, and I had a time trying to get through it and keep up with the storytelling.

That was of no fault of the animation. Most of the stories made very little sense... especially the last one.

I love anime, and I love Batman. So this should be good.

This man speaks the truth. Um, Timm is directing this.... And Paul Dini is where exactly? Package Deal, folks. I'm not saying this won't be good, especially since it's supposed to be an inbetweenquel™, but I'm just so used to the combination of Dini/Timm and the voice of Kevin Conroy that it's become the standard by which I compare all Batman animation.

I'm a huge fan of this Batman series just because Christian Bale is one of my favorite actors. Bale and Michael Caine are a great duo as Bruce Wayne and Alfred. They were also in the Prestige together another great movie. Can't wait for the sequel of Batman.

I, too, used to swear by Dini but once you start expanding on his work you see that maybe TAS was just his niche.

Too many Hollywood creative types (directors, writers, etc.) ruin their careers by going outside their niche.
