I'm super bored.
I can't remember the last time I bought stuff at the concession stand, I laugh at people who do. Before a movie I go to a convenience/grocery/video store and buy a bag of anything gummi-related for $2.

Of course not...that would be against the rules.

I buy candy from the Target next door, and sneak into my hoodie, or if I'm with a girl, her purse. As much as I love Sour Patch Kids, I'm not paying $3.50 for a small box.

Yeah, always. Me and my mate got KFC, but they dont let you in if they can see in the bag so we went to jetty surf and got one of their bags. Then we couldnt get to K-mart or we would have missed the start of AVP so i bought a bag of MnM's from the concession stand, LAST TIME I PAY $6 FOR A BAG OF CHOCOLATE!

I always bring in my own bottle of water, but typically I just get popcorn, and it's kind of hard to smuggle that in my cargo pants. The artificial butter makes it especially difficult. And it's hard to pull off the bucket trick too.

I usually sneak in a ham or two. And some mashed potatoes.

I haven't been too the movies since I saw Rocky Balboa back in late '06. Only sometimes would I buy a soda or candy and bring it in. Seriously I've never seen a rip off like the movie theater. They charge like 5 bucks for a soda, 3 bucks for a kit kat bar, It's a load of crap. When I used to go to the movies I'd bring in a soda and some sweets. I gotta get to the movies one of these days...

When I was younger, my friends and I used to always sneak food/drinks/candy into the movie theater by simply putting it in the backpack on the back of my friend's wheelchair. We couldn't justify spending $20 on snacks during the movie back then, and quite frankly, we could barely afford to go to the movies.
Now that I'm older, though, I do buy all of my snacks at the stand at the theater. Though I still think their prices are pretty much robbery, I just kind of grin and bare it now.

I would say about 25% of the time I do. Most of the time I forget to. I don't buy nearly as much stuff as I used to though. I might buy just a soda, or I might buy a pack of Reese's Pieces. Gummi candy is disgusting though.

if I go with friends who are paying eg. we all pay for our tickets and one person pays for food, I buy from the cinema but if I have to pay for everything myself I go to the Woolworthes next door.

The only time I eat at the movies is when I'm watching something I have little to no interest in, like when I watch Passion of the Christ I suck in a foot long pizza sub, split into two 6 inch portions so I could fit it in my cargo shorts. I knew that I was going to need a sandwich to sit through that movie.
Anyway, I almost always buy a drink at the theater because I forget to grab a bottle of water before the movie, and for some movies I'll get some popcorn.

Considering the prices at the movie theater is a rip, I usually bring my own food.

This one theater near me used to have a deal where all day Tuesday, tickets were $4 and you'd get a free small popcorn.
Then they jacked the price to $5, and I abided, because it was still a deal.
But then...THEN...they removed the popcorn from the equation. Needless to say, I was wicked pissed.
