...and that's what he wants to do instead of wrestle? He could get a decent paycheck, job to Jamie Noble at WrestleMania, and STILL not be as low as playing the Tooth Fairy.

Yikes. What a rip-off of SANTA CLAUSE.
When do we get the kid who played McLovin as "The Kwanza Kid"?

I am sure he is doing all of these family movies because of his daughter but I wish he would break them up and do something else for a change.

Lolz, the tooth fairy, this acting lark he's going for is paying out big-time.

He's probably making $10-15 mil, so I'd say it's probably paying off quite well. And he's doing family movies right now because of how huge a hit the Game Plan was. Sure it's goofy at times, but if it keeps bringing in $100 mil returns, then it.

I remember the days when I'd hear about The Rock being in a movie and I'd think "Ooh! I've got to see that movie! The Rock's in it!"

Maybe he's getting $5-7 million, but nothing over that. He hasn't proven anything.

The Rock really doesn't know to choose film roles.. The Mummy Returns, The Scorpion King, Be Cool, Doom, The Rundown, Walking Tall, Southland Tales, Gridiron Gang, The Game Plan.. wait, that's all his movies.

His salary for The Rundown was $12.5 million which was his 2nd film that he starred in so I don't imagine he has taken very much of a pay cut since then.

I think this sounds fun.
Though I'm looking forward to seeing him in Get Smart more.

I want to see Southland Tales, but other than that, I steer clear of all The Rocks movies.
