There's a lot of troupes out there, but these are the ones I can think of at the moment. Some might not even be "troupes," just people that work together a lot.
- The Frat Pack Ben Stiller, Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn, Luke and Owen Wilson, Jack Black, Steve Carell.
- The Jew Tang Clan Judd Apatow, Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd, Jonah Hill, Jason Segal, Martin Staar, James Franco, Leslie Mann and I guess Michael Cera.
- Broken Lizard The guys from Super Troopers/Club Dread/Beerfest.
- Monty Python Those old British dudes. - Upright Citizens Brigade Amy Poehler, Matt Walsh, Ian Roberts, Matt Besser.
- The Lonely Island Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, Akiva Schaffer.
- The Three Stooges Larry, Curly, Moe, Shemp.
- The State (Reno 911/Stella/etc.) Thomas Lennon, Robert Ben Garant, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Michael Showalter, Michael Ian Black, David Wain, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, A.D. Miles, etc.
- Human Giant Aziz Ansari, Rob Huebel and Paul Scheer. A reason to watch MTV.
- Derrick Comedy If you've ever been to a little site called YouTube, I'm sure you know them. Dominic Dierkes, Dan Eckman, Donald Glover and DC Pierson. I have so many of their videos favorited, hilarious stuff.
- The Whitest Kids U Know Don't know their names, I've never watched. I know a few people here really like the show.
- Other One I forgot.
Edit: Crap, I forgot Mr. Show! Bob Odenkirk, David Cross, John Ennis, Tom "Spongebob" Kenny and Jill Talley. Sorry, Johnny Long!
And the idiot I am, I forgot The Kids in the Hall. Dave Foley, Kevin McDonald, Bruce McCulloch, Mark McKinney and Scott Thompson.
There's always The Groundlings and The Second City but there's no real "members," a lot of them go on to form troupes and join SNL and stuff.

Jew Tang Clan... hahahaha... first I've heard that term used.
Most of these "troupes" are best served in small doses. As Will Ferrell proved with his recent flop: Semi-Pro, you can only use the same schtick over, and over, and over... and OVER, and OVER and OVER again before it gets tired and old.
All of them are kinda hit and miss...

ONE: You left off Kids in the Hall. TWO: How dare you disrespect Monty Python by labeling them as "those old british dudes" THREE: A couple of those aren't actually comedy troupes.

I can't take credit for Jew Tang Clan, Jonah Hill made it up in some interview. They're probably my favorite, with The Frat Pack and The State in second and third. ONE: You left off Kids in the Hall. TWO: How dare you disrespect Monty Python by labeling them as "those old british dudes" THREE: A couple of those aren't actually comedy troupes. ONE: Goddamnit! Meanwhile I've seen every episode and have a few season DVDs. TWO: I mean no disrespect, it was either that or something like "Do I really have to say who they are?" THREE: As I said, they're either troupes or just people that work together a lot.

Voted for Lonely Island. But it's a toss up between them and UCB with Human Giant in third.
I remember back in "the day" the Lonely boys were making the Bu for Channel 101. Ever since they left the site went downhill.
I've been a fan of UCB's since I was a kid. So they always have a place in my heart.
Human Giant gave MTV the only watchable 24 hours in a long time. I hope they finish the next season with another 24 hour marathon.
Also technically UCB could be used a la Groundlings and Second City. As Human Giant and countless others have came from them.

Seeing as Jack Black and Steve Carel ruined that category, I'll go with Broken Lizard. Seeing as Super Troopers is one of the greatest movies of...ever.

Monty Python, without question. The brilliance in there show, movies, and stage shows was just amazing. I don't know if they'll ever be beaten.
Kids in the Hall and Mr. Show are awesome as well, as is the original Second City... SCTV was great.

Monty Python hands down. As much as I like the Jew Tang Clan there is no comedy troupe that will ever be better than Python.

Monty Python out of those, based on Holy Grail alone. I really need to watch more of their shows and movies.
I do feel Stella is a pretty underrated group.

I didn't know they actually had names... I guess my favorite would probably be "The Jew Tang Clan."

You are kind of confusing sketch comedy with acting circles.
