I don't really care one way or another. I don't mind them, but the "Nine in the afternoon" song is getting old, pretty fast.

Has anyone heard this album yet? It's on MTV.com's The Leak today, so check that, or various other sites for the album later. I've heard about 6 songs off the album, in various demo/live/acoustic/studio variations and not a lot sounds the same to the last album - more melodic. Behind The Sea, and When The Day Met The Night sound epic

I plan on picking up the album next week, but I'm nowhere near as into them as I used to be. I think I overplayed "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out", even more than the radio did. I got sick of the style after a while.I still enjoy that album on occasion, though, and I will be seeing them in May because I've heard they put on a really good theatrical show. Maybe I just grew out of that style overall to a certain extent. That happened to me. I heard their new single "Nine in the Afternoon" and I didn't liked it.

I tried listening to them on MTV's leak, it wasn't working for me though.

The album is up on MTV's The Leak. It's a huge change from their past album, and I defintiely like this better.

Maybe I just grew out of that style overall to a certain extent. That happened to me. I heard their new single "Nine after Tomorrow" or something like that, and I didn't liked it. "Nine after Tomorrow" makes even less sense than the real title, "Nine in the Afternoon."

Just listened to the whole album, not a fan at all. Definitely not picking this up next week, don't even know if I'm going to go to the show anymore to be honest. The only thing telling me to buy a ticket is the fact that Motion City Soundtrack is playing.

I'm half and half on the album so far I like some of the songs but I don't like others. Maybe if I listen to it more it'll grow on me.

It's definately a grower of an album. When I heard it last night, I thought "Wow, it's OK but a letdown". Then I...aquired it on my iPod...and after listening to it a few times, it's definately grown on me. It seems to sit paralell with "A Fever..." as you can tell it's the same band, doing their thing but completely different. Good stuff.
5 favourite tracks in order are
1. From a Mountain in the Middle of the Cabins 2. Northern Downpour 3. Pas de Cheval 4. When The Day Met The night 5. She's a Handsome Woman
