Simple question about my favorite decade in music and rock really. For this I obviously pick VH but I like all the bands I listed for the most part.
I get the feeling the majority will pick GnR (lol) but that's cool.

I chose other, because my favorite 80's rock band is Operation Ivy. All the bands listed above suck, for the most part.

They were around for like 2 years, that really doesn't count as an 80s band. I go with "other" and say X. The Exene/John Doe combo was amazing. A lot of 80s metal/rock is kinda boring to me. I enjoy Metallica and Megadeth from that time out of that list, but the rest is bleh. |

Megadeth...christ the 80s sucked. You take that back!!!! the 80s were the best time ever... I'm sick of the super serious times that have happened since, where the only way anyone can seemingly get a few laughs is with gross out humor. and why no love for Cinderella or Quiet Riot? both those bands were amazing, and Quiet Riot was one of the first bands that got me into metal, so they will always be special to me. Man, I miss the 80s. |
