Awesome movie, but it got less awesome when the chick showed up. I liked the ending, well, Smith running into the dudes with the grenade was cool.

The scene that was more powerful was when he had to strangle his dog. So sad

Mmmm, the hello part, and right before he killed Sam really moved me (when he was singing Three Little Birds and realizing that Sam was infected). The actual act of him killing her was less touching, mostly because I couldn't help but laugh at his facial expressions.
No matter how sad you thought that part was, you must admit it could be superimposed quite easily into a softcore porno.

Awesome movie. It had one of my favorite actors Will Smith and some pretty good action scenes. I can't wait till it comes out on DVD so I can watch it with my parents.

I mean, unless she was walking around in the dark in a completely abandoned area, which I can imagine would be nerve wracking anyway, I don't see the problem. I don't think it's really meant to be scary... if it is it failed miserably.

The noise and the dark atmosphere but yet almost beautiful imagery makes it in a way dark

I dont like Smith at all, but I think he did a good job. Despite that, I really didnt care for the movie & hated the ending.

I thought it was really creepy, but that's probably because it took place two blocks away from my house.
It was overall great.

I forget who said it sucked for a remake of a remake of a movie. Do you guys not know the source material for this movie?
This is based on the classic sci-fi knovel by the same name. Which was butchered into previous movies "The Omega Man" and "The Last Man on Earth". This adaptation was by far truest to the original. Even with the plot changes, the original aim of the story, to show the deterioration of humankind through both disease and loneliness was kept intact.
Granted, I knew the story since I read the book. The ending was still neverless ok. At the time of the writing of the book (1950s) it was a superb ending. In this day and age when every possible ending to this kind of movie has been done in a similar movie, it was kinda bland.

I liked it. Not to much tho. Well after reading the book and watching the movie I really thought the book was miles ahead of the movie.

I absolutely loved the film up until the end. It felt so much weaker than the rest of it. Thank god... judging by my mates, i thought i was the only one who felt that
