Movie remakes are the new trend these days and I just replied to a thread about the Nightmare on Elm Street remake and decided this could make an interesting thread...
what movies would you never want to see remade? don't say all of them, but in-depth reasons (like did a certain actor make the film what it is in your opinion, etc.)

I dont have any i dont wanna see but I might get hated for this one but I kinda wanna see The Warriors remake. Like theres nothing wrong with the original but it would be awesome to see a remake.

I don't mind remakes and don't get the hatred for them. They don't ruin the original in anyway because for the most part the only thing in common is the title. Don't want to see a remake... then don't.
And I for one am glad the "remade" The Departed because it was damn good.

I thought maybe they would do it justice, but they've already mentioned it's going to have a very "urban" take to it. AKA: It's gonna be San Andreas, the movie ("urban" is the white man's new work for black). |

I generally dislike remakes. Honestly it would be easier to list the movies I would LIKE to see a remake of:
The Warriors - A modernized version with even more violence would rule!
The Last Starfighter - Given how far video games have come as well as special effects, a remake could be really cool.
and to be perfectly honest Star Wars Episodes 1-3... I want them rewritten and and directed by someone other than Lucas.
