Animating Board Rules
1. No spam replies such as great 10/10. Put some thought into your replies. It's only gonna take a few extra minutes out of your life.
2. Please do not bring up topics from second page or further back. It bumps down newer animations.
3. No flaming. If you don't like an animation just don't say it sucks. Especially if its a newer animator. Give them advice on how to make animations better.
4. Put animations in there right place. Stick animations go into the official thread and figure, fire pro, and toon animations go on the main board.
5. Have a good amount of light. Light is essential. A good animation can be ruined by bad lighting.
6. Just have fun!!!!
New User Advice
1. Use string. It might be difficult at first but in time you Will get the hang of it. It will also make your animations so much better with mid air shots and such.
2. Have a good amount of frames. This is so your animations run alot smoother and aren't choppy.
3. Bend the figures. This makes your animations not so stiff. It makes moves look much better and look more real.
4. Add reaction!!! When someone gets put through a table you expect them to have a reaction right? Not just lay there like a bump on a log. So add a reaction whether big or small into every animation you do.
So I hope this advice helps all you newer guys
PPV Rules and Regulations
Alright so first off if you want to join a ppv you sign up. Who ever is running the event will put you in a match. You will have an opponent and a stipulation. You make the animation according to the stipulation. And then when voting time comes the other users who are not in your match vote on whose is better. And who ever gets the most votes wins. Ya pretty simple stuff right?
Anyway if one or both of the participants doesn't hand in an animation its either a DQ win or double DQ. If you do not hand in an animation and are DQed you are not able to participate in the next month's PPV.
