5th September 1992
Vince McMahon and Mr. Perfect welcome us to this weeks edition of Superstars. We head straight into action..
Kona Crush def. Scott Baizo via Submission with his Head Crush Submission Hold
A video recaps the incident between World Wrestling Federation Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Razor Ramon on Prime Time Wrestling- We see exclusive footage of "Macho Man" Randy Savage, the World Wrestling Federation Champion, joining "Mean" Gene Okerlund on a podium in the arena. Okerlund congratulates Savage on retaining the title at Summerslam, however, Savage intervenes and says that he retained it in the last way he wanted to. He offers The Ultimate Warrior a fair rematch for the title. Razor Ramon comes out and gets straight to the point. Why doesn't he get a title shot? He attempts to bully Savage but he's having none of it. Ramon throws his tooth pick at Savage, still selling his leg injury from Summerslam, until "Macho Man" shoves the cocky young star off the podium, forcing him to retreat to the back. Monsoon and Heenan reveal we'll now see Savage vs. Razor next week on Prime Time Wrestling for the Federation title.
"The Model" Rick Martel & Sgt. Slaughter def. "The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels & The Mountie via Pinfall when Martel hit The Mountie with a Flying Crossbody
The Beverly Brothers w/ The Genius def. Duane Gill & Barry Hardy via Pinfall with the Shaker Heights Spike
Sean Mooney interviews "The Bad Guy" Razor Ramon. Mooney asks how Ramon is feeling ahead of his World Wrestling Federation Title match on Prime Time Wrestling. Ramon says life is good considering he's going to be the next Federation Champion. He says he has alot of tough matches in the WWF, but the one that will stand out the most will be against Savage. There's only one true Champion, and it's about to be settled his way 'chico'.
The British Bulldog def. Kevin Krueger via Pinfall with the Running Powerslam
"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair is backstage. Flair claims to be the rightful contender for the WWF Title and tells the world that he'll get what's rightfully his, and he's about to prove why.

Papa Shango def. Virgil via Pinfall with the Shoulderbreaker
We see a recap of "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair's interview on Superstars - "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair is backstage. Flair claims to be the rightful contender for the WWF Title and tells the world that he'll get what's rightfully his, and he's about to prove why.
"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair w/ Mr. Perfect def. Jim Powers via Submission with the Figure Four Leglock

"The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels is backstage. Next to him is a very uncomfortable looking "Sensational" Sherri Martel. Michaels says he'll defeat the so called "Model" Rick Martel and win the services of Sherri. He then teases a challenge at The British Bulldog and the Intercontinental Championship.
Bret "Hitman" Hart def. Nailz via Submission with the Sharpshooter
The Genius is with The Beverly Brothers. Sean Mooney discusses a possible WWF Tag Team Title rematch with The Natural Disasters. The Genius claims that it's in the works, but Jack Tunney is foolishly overlooking Beau & Blake and is eyeing up several other challengers. He says that they'll soon prove why they will be the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions.
The Legion of Doom w/ Paul Ellering def. The Nasty Boys w/ Jimmy "The Mouth of the South" Hart via Pinfall following the Doomsday Device. The Beverly Brothers ran in after the match and attempted to attack Hawk & Animal but got the beating of their lives.

Love how you are pushing Ramon into his current position. Its a nice change from the usual guys in the top spot. Kinda surprised theres been no word from the Warrior though. Look forward to the likely Bulldog/Michaels match-up.

Bit too many star/star matches on Challenge for my liking. I can see Bret/Nailz and Virgil/Shango, byt LOD/Nasties screams PTW.

I agree with the rickster. This diary is well written/planned, but save some of those sweet matches bro. Although, that would be a nice treat to see all on one show. Digging this Ramon push. Digging this Michaels/Bulldog feud a ton. I'm really liking this chazinator. KEEP IT PLEASE!

Yeah, like people have said, save some of the better matches for SNME. But apart from that, top notch as always.
I like the way you're slowely moving Michaels onto the IC title. Nice work, keep it up.

Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan welcomed us to another edition of Prime Time Wrestling, brought to you by the World Wrestling Federation. They hype matches involving The British Bulldog, Shawn Michaels and the World Wrestling Federation title bout between "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Razor Ramon.
Kona Crush def. Bob Smedley via Submission with the Head Crush Submission Hold (Seattle, WA)
"The Texas Tornado" Kerry Von Erich def. Jack Owens via Pinfall following the Tornado Punch (Youngstown, OH)
Sean Mooney is with WWF Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Savage says he's going to teach Razor Ramon some respect, oh yeah, not only will he teach Razor Ramon to have respect for the Champion, but he's going to embarass Razor and pin him with the 1-2-3 and put him out of wrestling for good, dig it?
Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan discuss Savage's comments. Heenan then reveals he has a new client and he's coming to the World Wrestling Federation soon.
Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase & "IRS" Irwin R. Schyster) def. Dale Wolfe & Raymond Hammer via Submission with the Million Dollar Dream
The Legion of Doom are backstage with Paul Ellering. They put themselves over as the greatest tag team in the world and say that they deserve the shot against The Natural Disasters for the WWF Tag Team Titles.
A video promotes the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event show on September 28th.
"The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels w/"Sensational" Sherri Martel def. Virgil via Pinfall with the Teardrop Suplex (New Haven, CT)
The British Bulldog def. The Bezerker w/Mr. Fuji via Pinfall after hitting the Running Powerslam. Following the match, Mr. Fuji washed his hands of The Bezerker (Daytona Beach, FL)
"The Bad Guy" Razor Ramon is in the back. He says Savage can't beat him, he never could and he never will. From the streets of Miami, look at him now. Women at his side, oozing machismo, wearing all this gold, and soon to be more gold in the World Wrestling Federation Championship belt. Razor throws his tooth pick at the camera as we go to ringside for this exclusive match..
WWF Championship: "Macho Man" Randy Savage def. Razor Ramon via Disqualification. "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and Mr. Perfect ran in and attacked Savage as he was about to pin Ramon. A 3 on 1 beat down followed until The Ultimate Warrior ran down and eliminated all 3 men from the ring, and helped up Savage.

I liked PTW a lot, but instead of having guys 'in the back' on PTW/other shows for interviews, they'd usually be standing in front of a kinky background with their name/logo on it. Onto the show, I liked everything but Savage being saved by Warrior, and Savage not staring him down. Other than that, PTW was fantastic.

As Ricky said, I'd love to see a Savage/Warrior staredown. I'm not too fussed that it wasn't this show, but it'd be cool if there was some heat in the ranks between the two in the coming shows.

Liking SNME card so far. I like the added stip to the tag main event. I dont like the heel turn by Taker, since hes only been a face since WrestleMania and it seemed out of nowhere since his feud with Kamala was just ended.

SNME looks stacked. "ultimate Manics" FTW . I just hope Warrior doesnt plan on walking out anytime soon. Taker as IC Champion? Hmm.. that would be interesting, but I kinda hope it doesn't happen. Reply to Birth of Attitude?

Undertaker as IC Champ would be cool. Loved the Flair segment, and the show was booked beautifully.
Really top class stuff, Chaz.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter-
The Ultimate Warrior has been fired by the World Wrestling Federation. Apparently, The Warrior had agreed to take the fall for Ric Flair and begin a program with Razor Ramon, but then threatened to no show the Saturday Night's Main Event show if the finish wasn't altered. Having done this before for a higher pay check at Summerslam last year, Vince wasn't having any of it and chose to just let Warrior go altogether. It's unsure whether the plans will now stay the same or be changed to a new finish.
There are plans to bring in the recently released from WCW "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson and possibly The Great Muta for a program with Hulk Hogan upon his return to the company. There were plans for a feud between Hogan and Lex Luger, who's debut will happen in the coming months.
McMahon wants the Tag Team Titles off The Natural Disasters as soon as possible. They don't get even half the reaction teams such as The Legion of Doom and Money Inc. get, and so he feels the company are missing out on big money.
The company are looking to bring in another television show in 1993. Rumours say they're discussing terms with the USA Network.
