The tournament brackets are looking good, and I'm hoping Shelley is the one who wins the belt. Brian Kendrick vs. Alex Shelley will be a great match, and the one I'm most looking forward to reading. I'll leave a bigger reply when the show is up.

Battle for the Strap 4/4/08As usual Mr. Muto comes out and announces the competitors for this two day tournament. As he reads out the eight competitors they come out and stand on the entranceway. Mr. Muto reveals a shiny belt as the camera zooms in on the inscription which translates as ‘Rising Sun Wrestling Glory Holder’ He calls it the RSW Glory title. The Wrestlers turn around and leave as does the owner Mr. Muto. The Tournament kicks off as Tyson Dux and his little fat manager, Scott D’ Amore make their way to the ring. The masked Puma then comes bouncing out to the ring as D’ Amore tries to touch the belt but a guard shoves the fat manager away. Match 1: Tyson Dux defeated Puma after Puma tapped to the SharpshooterA good even match which showed both Dux’s techniqual skill and Puma’s high flying prowess. Although Puma did slip on the middle rope around the 6 minute mark which he landed hard on his neck. The referee did check on him but Dux started kicking at him before the referee restrained him, Puma did get up to his feet but he did slow down the match. The ending came after Dux flew in with a springboard bulldog and locked in the Sharpshooter as Puma screamed in agony and tapped out. Dux then left the hold and fell to his knees as D’ Amore ran in and grabbed hold of Dux as he raised his hand in celebration. A video then showed Bam in NOAH against 3 other Japanese wrestlers from different promotions they showed a stiff kick he nailed on Go Shiozaki and a huge asai moonsault he hit on all competitors. As the video faded away ‘BAM!’ screamed the speakers ‘BAM!’ again went the speakers as Bam made his way to the ring. Green mist came from the enterance as Kondo croutched his way to the ring as the crowd booed. Match 2: Bam defeated Kondo with the W.B.T.Y.MKondo looked very strong in the opening of this match catching the smaller Bam and using a huge sit-down powerbomb to get a two count. Kondo continued to prove his dominace all the way though the match until Kondo went for Kondo Slammer (Double Handed Clokeslam) and Bam countered with a tornado DDT. As Kondo was getting to his feet Bam hit multiple kicks to the leg knocking the monster down and then hitting a dropsault, then somehow landing on his feet for another dropsault and again into a drop kick. The ending came when Bam hit the W.B.T.Y.M Bam looked up to the sky and pointed while shouting ‘This ones for you’ and then walked passed by the belt up on the enterace were Mr. Muto was. Mr. Muto announced that tomorrow the tournament for the belt will continue into the second round were Bam will face Tyson Dux (who know came out and stood by Mr. Muto on his other side to Bam) and that there will be a ‘Losers Tag Match’ were the losers will team up meaning that former rivals Puma and Kondo will team up! Puma then appeared from behind Kondo in the ring as they came face to face (or mask to mask) security quickly split them up. After everyone had left Mr. Muto stood in the ring and announced that The Red Dragon is making his debut in RSW right now! A masked man in a red mask and red tights came out. He is around average height and shook hands with Mr. Muto as he entered the ring. Low Ki then crept out and circled his oppernet. Match 3: Red Dragon defeated Low Ki after he hit the Red Dragon Driver (Death Valley Driver)A good debut by Dragon but nothing too spectacular. Low Ki as always used kicks to Dragon to try to weaken him down but for some reason Low Ki did a rookie mistake, never underestimate your opponent. Low Ki took his time climbing the ropes and as he went for the Warrior’s Way Dragon flipped up and ran at the top rope as he dived at him and hit a top rope hurricanirana, which only got a two count. Dragon then went on to show all new moves that we havn’t seen in RSW before such as a pumphandle suplex and a hesitated suplex into a spinebuster. Dragon then got the win when he hit the Red Dragon Driver (Death Valley Driver) Red Dragon worked the crowd as he left and Low Ki exited slowly to a mixture of boo’s and cheers. Brian Kendrick then came out as the crowd cheered but as he was making his way out Alex Shelley jumped him from behind and threw him into the crowd were he landed bad on a bunch of chairs that were set up. Shelley jumped in the crowd and threw him over the rail and into the ring Match 4: Alex Shelley defeated Brian Kendrick after the referee called for the bellWhen the match started Kendrick seemed to be knocked out. Shelley danced around mocking Kendrick and challenged him to get up although the referee checked him and called for the bell. Alex Shelley was furious with the decision and started attacking Kendrick but the ref tried to stop him but then Shelley attacked him! Red Dragon and Bam ran out and made the save as Bam went straight for Alex Shelley as Dragon checked on Kendrick and the fallen referee. A video came on were it showed the matches for tomorrow. The camera showed Alex who had fled into the crowd, Bam and Dragon in the ring and Dux at the entrance as the show faded out. Night 2:Semi Final Match:Tyson Dux vs. Bam Semi Final Match:Red Dragon vs. Alex Shelley Losers Tag Match:Puma & Kondo vs. Low Ki & Brian Kendrick Grand Final:RSW Glory TitleWinner of Match 1 vs. Winner of Match 2

Ahh Red Dragon I am right now in love with your fed! First let me say I loved the graphic for battle for the strap, and I think that it is a very interesting thing to hold. The glory title seems to be a nice addition in the fed, and I am interested in seeing who will win, but only night 1 makes me . Not that it was a bad show, but I am just mad that I have to wait to see night 2! It was that good it is drawing me back to watch for sure on how this thing is going to turn out! I wanted Puma to win the first match, but seemed very nice. Who is BAM, the only BAM I know is of course the pro skater for the skate team Element, and he is not that impressive in my eyes. I am thinking that you are supposed to be Red Dragon, none the less I am loving the fact that you did book Low-Ki, I hoped for a gangsta stomp! Very nice match though, I did enjoy it a lot. Now I need to say thank you for having Shelly to win, and say that the match it self would have been to die for. Night 2 has a very nice card, and I can not wait my self to see the final match, and Red Dragon vs Shelly seems to be killer.

Battle for the Strap was an awesome show. The first match sounded awesome. TBH, I would have rather had Puma win but Dux winning it fine, it could have gone either way actually. Bam vs. Kondo was a ok but you needed just a little bit more deatil, however, it was still good. The Dragon/Low Ki match sounded excellent, probably match of the night. However, since it was Dragon's debut, I believe Low Ki one. However, that is my opionion and you book the shows so I cant do anything. The last match was kinda a let down. The match could have been amazing but Kendrick was KOd, wish it was different. Anyways, that was an average show. Reply to Ultimate Lucha Libre?

The graphic looks alright. I don't know who Tyson Dux is but, whoever he is I am glad he beat Puma. I hate Puma. Yes, Bam winning with his wierd-named finisher. It was a great match. He has been getting a pretty good streak latley. Awesome, that you are in this diary. You putting Low-Ki is upsetting to me. Why couldn't he beat a jobber? I like Low-Ki. YES! Shelley winning over Brian Kendrick is awesome. Night 2 looks to shape up and it's going to be awesome. I hope Bam or Alex Shelley wins the title. This is defiantly one of my favorite diaries. I can't wait for Night 2!

Battle for the Strap 5/4/08
The show starts with a video package of last nights action with Bam, Tyson Dux, Alex Shelley and Red Dragon all advancing to tonight were RSW will crown our first ever RSW Glory Champion. Mr. Muto is in the ring and announces the line up which includes rivals Puma and Kondo teaming up to face Low Ki and Brian Kendrick. He thanks the crowd and leaves.
Bam comes out to his powerful rock music and then is followed by Canadian Tyson Dux and his manager Scott D’ Amore.
Match 1: Bam defeated Tyson Dux after he hit the W.B.T.Y.M A good back and forth match which the crowd got really into. Although Dux took most control of this match due to interference on the outside by D’ Amore Bam looked strong and countered from an inverted Neckbreaker attempt into a DDT. Both men stayed down for an 8 until they got to their feet but Dux hit a clothesline hitting Bam over the top rope. D’ Amore then tried to weaken down Bam on the outside but Bam grabbed the overweight manager and threw him into the ring post. Bam was cut off by a baseball slide by Dux who sent Bam flying into the guardrail. Later on in the match Dux went for a suplex off the top but Bam threw him off and hit the W.B.T.Y.M for the win.
Bam celebrated as he circled the ring getting a lot of applause while the Canadians got to their feet and limped away. Red Dragon made his way to the ring for his second ever match in RSW who was then followed by Alex Shelley who went over to Dragon with his hand out ready for a handshake only for Shelley to kick Dragon in the crotch and then slap him in the face as Dragon fell to his knees.
Match 2: Alex Shelley defeated Red Dragon with the Shell Shock Shelley ran into the ropes and hit a shinning wizard straight away on the kneeling Dragon to get a two count. Shelley kept him grounded by hitting elbow drops into numerous submission moves. Dragon eventually got to the ropes and broke up the count but Shelley tried bending the rules as he choked Dragon with the ropes for long periods of time. Dragon then slide outside and springboarded back into the ring with a tornado DDT, Dragon only got a two count but then picked up Shelley who hit a low blow. The match continued as both men put on a fantastic match until Low Ki came out and attacked Dragon (Dragon knocked out Ki in the first round) Ki distracted Dragon enough for Shelley to hit a shell shock and Shelley then rolled him up with his feet on the ropes for the victory.
Shelley ran out of the ring and up the ramp until he saw Mr. Muto and Bam come out of the entrance way. Muto announced that our main event will be Alex Shelley against Bam for the RSW Glory Chamionship. Bam walked towards Shelley with last night on his mind but security split them up on the entranceway. After everyone had left Low Ki made his way out followed by Brian Kendrick who engaged in an intense stare down ready for the ‘Losers Tag Match’. Puma and Kondo then came out together! The crowd were stunned as Kondo and Puma made their way out.
Match 3: Low Ki and Brian Kendrick defeats Puma & Kondo after a Warriors Way/ Sliced Bread Combo Kondo quickly turned on Puma by punching him on the apron and then Kondo Slamming (Double handed Chokeslam) him onto the floor outside and then it wasn’t long before Kendrick and Ki hit a sick Warriors Way/ Sliced Bread Combo on Puma for the win.
Kendrick looked to Ki after they had had their hands raises. Ki gave Kendrick a strange look and left Kendrick then worked the crowd and tried to leave but Red Dragon came out and attacked Ki, they both fought backstage. A video played of the action over the past two days ready for the Grand Final. Bam made his way out as red pyro flew out of the entrance way. Bam worked the crowd and entered the ring as the crowd cheered loudly. Alex Shelley came out as bright yellow pyro sparkled behind Shelley. Shelley entered the ring as the two competitors went toe to toe and Mr. Muto raised the Glory Title.
Main Event: Alex Shelley defeats Bam with the Shell Shock to win the RSW Glory Championship One of the greatest matches in RSW history as both men put on a ‘slobber knocker’ of a match. Shelley and Bam exchanged numerous holds before Bam was able to bridge over in a german suplex for a two count. After more great techniqual wrestling greatness Bam took the advantage again setting Shelley up in a fireman’s carry but Shelley slipped out and pushed Bam into the referee. Shelley slid out of the ring and Bam checked on the fallen referee. Shelley came back in with a steel chair and hit Bam straight out with it on the back of Bam’s head. The referee got back up and counted a two count on Bam. Shelley complained to the referee and Bam got a roll up for a two count. After more false finishes which included Shelley hitting the Shellshock and Bam hitting the W.B.T.Y.M, Shelley got the victory with a second Shellshock, as both men lay exhausting in the ring.
Bam laid flat out on the canvas while Shelley slowly made his way to his feet. Shelley had his hand raised and soaked up all the boo’s as the referee handed the belt to Alex Shelley. Shelley raised the belt in the air and Bam rolled to the outside. The show faded out with Shelley on the top rope with the belt and Bam on the outside with revenge on his mind.

Yes, again Bam winning is awesome. I remember when I said wow who is he and all. Now I like him. The match was decent. Nothing to add there. I like his little streak. Cool, little thing of Shelley and Dragon before their match. Uh man, I am glad SHelley won but, would have more enjoyed you winning but, hey you're just started. So I don't mind. I really hope SHelley wins the Title. It would be awesome. It might happen since you have SHelley in your sig, haha. Woah, I don't know who I want to win...I will go with..Bam. I hope Bam wins. It's going to be a good match. Oh Yeah! Glad Low-Ki and Brian Kendrick won. It was a good match. The ending was good also. It was kind of short so if you would have added a little more detail than it would of been perfect. I know the look Low-KI gave Brian Kendrick. I see a Dragon and Low-Ki feud. That would be awesome. Maybe if you would of gave kind of more little detail like, Dragon smashed Ki in the side of a Car window and ect. Yes, I didn't care who won and it was a very good match. I enjoyed everything that happened. Alex SHelley better have a win steak, just joking but, I hope it's pretty long. Great Show. The ending was good. THis is perfect man. This diary was ment for you.

Night two was a very well written show. The first match sounded really good. BAM is an awesome character so im fine with him winning. Shelley/Dragon match sounded amazing. I would have loved to see that match in real life. Im glad Shelley got the win. The tag team match sounded like an awesome match too. That match really could have gone either way and I would have been happy. However, I feel Low Ki/Kendrick was a good choice. The main event was once again and awesome match. Im glad Shelley won the belt. Overall, that might have been one of your best shows. Keep up the good work. Thanks for the reply to TNA and ULL.

Night two was a great show, Dragon. It was written really well, and Alex Shelley winning the title is ing great. I was hoping he would win the belt, as he's one of my favourite wrestlers. The Bam/Shelley match sounded great, and I liked how they both lay on the mat exhausted afterwards. Overall, a great show and as I said before, this is the most underated diary on this board.

Battle for the strap night 2 was an awesome show!
Bam's match was of course nice, though as I have said I know neither man in the match. Alex Shelly and Red Dragon had a nice match if I do say so myself, and I really enjoyed it! Love them team of Low Ki and Kendrick, and am happy with the outcome of them winning, nice ending! YES! YES! YES! I am happy Shelly is the champion!
OK one thing that I do not understand, where is match 3?
Other than the missing match 3 I loved the show, and can not wait to see the next one.

The card for "End of an Era" looks awesome. The world championship match should be amazing, Im going for Raven in that one. Glory championship match is going to be awesome, It could go either way in that one. The rest of the card is looking good too. I especially looking toward the fatal four way match up, should be crazy. Anyways, Im glad you have gone this far with this diary, its awesome. Thanks for the reply to TNA.

End of an Era should be a great show. I'm really likeing the card for it. From what I read of Battle for the Strap, it was also an awesome show. I figured Shelley would be the one winning though, but I'm glad he did.

Long time no read. Apologies for not replying much, I had a tiny strike on indy diaries, sad I know, hehe. Battle for the Strap sounded decent, liked Shelley beating you, I mean Red Dragon. Great tag bout, and a good main event.
I hope End of an Era finishes the Waltman/Raven feud tbh, it's mildly boring me now.

End of a Era 26/4/08A video package plays showing the epic rivalry between RSW World Champion, Sean Waltman and former Champion Raven, then it appears ‘All things must come to an end’ and then ‘End of a Era’ We then cut to Mr. Muto standing in the ring, he runs down some of the match card including Alex Shelley defending the RSW Glory Championship, Jin Yamato returning to the ring and the huge main event between Sean Waltman and Raven. Mr. Roboto comes out as he dances down to the ring, somehow the Japanese crowd love this guy! The Ninja then comes out, there are a few laughs as The Ninja just keeps his head down. Both men have never won in RSW before so who will pick up their first victory? Match 1: The Ninja defeats Mr. Roboto with a Curb StompSoon as the match started Ninja went on the attack, kicking and punching the robotic jobber in the corner. After a snap suplex Mr. Roboto could not get to his fet as he crawled to the ropes but the Ninja put his arms behind his back and stomped onto his head shoving the robot man into the canvas. After the match the referee went to hold up his arm only for Ninja to kick him and throw him to the outside. The Ninja ripped off his mask and his top to reveal a Mohawk and a tattoo’ed body. Ninja then got on the mike, Ninja: I’m sick of being pushed around, sick of being beaten up. Now is the time to stand up, now is the time to fight. So let the revolution come as Luke Hawx takes control! Luke Hawx then lifts his ripped mask and pulls a lighter out of his pocket and lights the mask in flames Hawx (Ninja): This is an ‘End of an Era’, let us prepare for the beginning of the revolution. As the Japanese translation finishes scrolling of the screen, Hawx makes his way to the back flinging the middle finger everywhere. Mr. Roboto then saw the burning mask and put it out which the crowd found amusing as Mr. Roboto worked the crowd again as he left with still no win in RSW. The masked Welsh wrestler, Red Dragon came down to the ring, at the ‘Battle for the Belt’ he made his debut and impressed many people in RSW for an unknown guy. Billy Kidman shortly followed him while shaking hands with the crowd. After the music faded ‘Flash’ by Queen blared from the speakers as James Flash his manager, Angel and his British tag partner, Ian Harris all strutted down to the ring for this tag team showdown. Match 2: Red Dragon & Billy Kidman defeated James Flash & Ian Harris when Dragon hit the Red Dragon Driver (Death Valley Driver)A good match which had the basic isolated Kidman being kept away from his corner. Which then built up the crowd into the tag into tagging Red Dragon. Dragon beat them both before getting double-teamed but Kidman made the save but with a price as both Kidman and Flash went crashing to the outside. Dragon then hit his finisher on Harris for the victory. Dragon’s celebration was cut short as Low Ki came from behind with a stiff kick knocking the masked Red Dragon to the floor. This marks the second time this has happened Low Ki then left with the damage done. Kidman rushed in and helped Dragon to his feet as they celebrated. A video then showed Alex Shelley winning the RSW Glory Championship and then showed that Brian Kendrick would be trying to get the belt tonight. Up next was the fatal four-way match. First came out Tyson Dux with his porky manager Scott D’Amore then Japanese wrestler Takuya Sugi then the masked Puma who was fresh of his rivalry with Kondo. The final man came out who was Yoshinobu Kanemaru who is the current GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion. Match 3: Tyson Dux defeated Takuya Sugi, Puma, Yoshinobu Kanemaru when he locked in the SharpshooterAn aesome match which showed speed, techniqual skill and pure Japanese hardchopping action. Sugi and Puma displayed some awsome ariel skill numerous spots included a springboard moonsault, a super- huricanrana and a move while both Sugi and Puma tried springboarding into the ring onto separate oppenents, their oppenents moved out of the way causing Puma and Sugi to clash in the middle of the ring in mid air! After Kanemaru was sent to the outside, Dux locked in the Sharpshooter to Sugi and then Sugi tapped causing Dux to win the match. Dux celebrated his recent win and has been having a push as of late maybe a title is close in his future? The rest of the wrestlers in the match got to their feet shook hands, celebrated together and then left together. Minoru made his way out to the ring but this time with out his protogue, Yuji who will be facing the returning Jin after this match. Jin’s tag partner and best friend Ryu Sano came out ready to finally get his hands on Minoru and prove himself by beating a major star. Match 4: Minoru defeated Ryu Sano with the Minoru Special (Modified Armbar)Minoru really played the heel card here. He refused to enter the ring, argued with the referee and even hit the odd low blow! Minoru was getting major heat for his actions and even attacked an official at ringside. Ryu did well but due to the major heat Minoru was getting anyone would have been cheered. It wasn’t a wrestling classic due to the heel tactics from Minoru but it was certainly fun. Minoru wan as he pushed the referee into the ropes causing Ryu to fall off the top ropes, Minoru saw the opportunity and locked in the Minoru Special for the win Minoru got to his feet and shoved the referee to the floor (he’s having a hard night) then Minoru’s protégé, Yuji came out and the two of them stuck the boots to Ryu but Jin made the save. Yuji and Minoru was leaving until the referee told Yuji to get in the ring for the next match. Match 5: Jin Yamato defeats Yuji Namoatchi with the O.T.T (Over the Top) [Moonsault Fallaway Slam]Jin had this match in the bag, he dominated most of it but Yuji did fight back in the middle of the match. As always the fans loved the young Jin (who is actually related to the owner, Mr. Muto) Jin showed a lot of skill for a 21 year old and the future does indeed look bright for him. Jin picked up the win with his truly unique finisher the O.T.T which stands for Over The Top, Jin picked him up in a basic body slam then went to the top rope only to back flip (Moonsault) while still holding Yuji and then landing onto him for the three count. Jin got to his feet and shooed of Yuji who met Minoru at the entrance ramp. Ryu then joined Jin in the ring. Mr. Muto then came out and announced next week this rivalry will end as Jin and Ryu will take on Minoru and Yuji. Ryu and Jin chased after their future opponents as they all went backstage. Lights came from the entrance were a silhouette of a man stood much alike the old Chris Jericho entrance. When the music kicked in the man turned around and it was Alex Shelley with his newly crowned RSW Glory Championship. Brian Kendrick then came out hoping to win the belt. Match 6: Alex Shelley defeated Brian Kendrick to retain the RSW Glory ChampionshipA good match, which displayed the good points of both wrestlers, Kendrick built up momentum all though the match and burst out with a flurry of moves mid-way into the match. Kendrick threw everything he could into it but ended when Kendrick went for the Sliced Bread No.2 and Shelley hopped back causing Kendrick to fall back onto Shelley’s knees, letting Shelley pick up the win. Shelley mocked a person in the front row as he held up his belt and taunted with it up the ramp. A video then played about the epic rivalry between Champion Waltman and Challenger Raven and as it ended Sean Waltman hopped out to the ring with his RSW World Title around his shoulder. Ricky Banderas did not accompany him after the brutal ending to the tag team Deathmatch which happened at ‘Revenge.’ The lights then went out as an organ played over the speakers. Then a light flickered over the entrance and then a scream, the crowd stood silent and then burst in amazement as the beginning of Raven’s familiar tune. Raven walked out with huge applause from the crowd. Raven and Sean stood eye-to-eye as the RSW World Title was held up and glistened in the light. It was time to end this. Main Event: Raven defeated Sean Waltman to become the new RSW World ChampionNot exactly the best match in their rivalry due to no weapons being brought into play but overall a good match. The reason how this was so good was due to the crowd reaction. The crowd were wild by this point and were into all of the match. Both men used their experience to play the crowd and have many near falls although they might have over-sold the number of finishers used. Near the end Sean did seem to slow down the pace which left Raven hit the drop toe hold into the corner turnbuckle then lifted him up with Sean facing the buckle. He then hit him with an inverted DDT but as the weary Waltman got to his feet he was hit with the Raven Effect DDT for the win and to be crowned the new RSW World Champion. Raven stayed on his knees and held the title in his hands. Now a two-time champion Raven celebrated his recent victory as the camera faded to black.
