January was a huge month for ROH. We saw Bryan Danielson defeat Chris Hero in his first ever, and most likely his last match in ROH. Hero and fellow CZW'ers invaded, but were succesfully sent packing by Danielson and fellow ROH members. The end of the month saw the Embassy of Alex Shelley, Jimmy Rave, and Abyss win the Trio's Tournament. With that win, those three men have earned themselves title shots whenever they see fit. Alex Shelley has used his title contract and will get his shot on February 25th against Bryan Danielson if he is still champion. Also announced, the April 22nd show in Philadelphia will be ROH's 100th show, and therfore, we will see a rematch of the first ever ROH main event. Bryan Danielson will take on Christopher Daniels and Low-Ki in what should be a huge bout. On top of all that, just recently announced for 4/1 in Chicago, Bryan Danielson, if still champion, will defend his gold against one of the greatest technical wrestlers to ever grace the squared circle, Lance Storm. These next few months should be huge for ROH, so stay tuned.February11th - Long Island, NY - ROH returns to Lake Grove, NY at the Sports Plus Entertainment Center.Bryan Danielson will defend the ROH World Title!!! - Another huge obstacle has been thrown infront of ROH champion Bryan Danielson. Prince Nana has contacted the ROH offices demanding that Abyss get his title shot on February 11th in New York. We have no choice but to book the match due to the Embassy winning the Trio's Tournament last month. So, February 11th will see Bryan Danielson defend the ROH title against the monster Abyss. Can Danielson make it past Abyss? And even if he does, what is going to be left when he faces Shelley on the 25th? This weekend is surely going to be a huge one in ROH history. - Colt Cabana and Ace Steel will be making their full-time return to the tag ranks this Saturday when they take on Matt Sydal and Jack Evans of Generation Next. Sydal and Evans dont really know each other much as a team, while on the other hand, Steel and Cabana know each other like the backs of their hands. This match has some huge ramifications on the tag-team division as the winners will become the #1 contenders to the tag-team titles. Can the quickness of Sydal and Evans pay off, or will the experience of Cabana and Steel bring them the victory? - Also signed for this Saturday will be a match that is going to test the newly signed Tyler Black. Black will be facing off against 3 other men in a 4-corner survival match. Black will be going toe to toe with Delirious, El Generico, and Milano Collection AT. This match also has some high stakes as the winner will surely be rocketed up in the rankings. - A Special attraction match has been signed for the 25th in Edison NJ. Jimmy Rave of the Embassy will be taking on Jimmy Yang. Yang comented to ROH offices that he has been disgusted with Rave's attitude lately since winning the Trio's Tournament. Yang said he wants a piece of Rave, but not in a normal match. Yang wants Rave in a falls count anywhere match. We here at ROH are unsure if that stipulation will be used, but the match will go on regardless. Yang has yet to win in ROH, so this is a must win for him. - Just signed for tonight, The Havana Pitbulls of Rocky Romero and Ricky Reyes will take on BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs. The Pitbulls havent been seen as a team in ROH in quite some time, but Jim Cornette has stated he wants to revive the tag-team devision here in ROH. Whitmer and Jacobs havent teamed in awhile either, so this match should be quite interesting. - ROH returns to New York tonight with "Weakening The Dragon". There are still tickets available for the show, but get them quick. Get to Sports Plus quick in order to get your tickets, they are $18 at the door. For the action you get, that price is unbeatable. We'll see ya there. Puma vs. Fast EddieMatch was a decent opener. It served its purpose by getting the crowd on their feet. Some decent high-spots mixed in, including a top-rope moonsault by Fast Eddie, and a suicide dive by Puma, really rounded this one out. Not really much more you can say about it. Match came to an end when Fast Eddie hit the jump swinging DDT. Winner: Fast EddieTyler Black vs. Delirious vs. El Generico vs. Milano Collection ATThis was Tyler Blacks chance to shine, and boy did he put on a show. The match mainly consisted of Black and Delirious, and honestly, I think that was a good idea. The two have worked each otehr before in IWA:MS, so they are somewhat familiar. Black came out of the gate full force at Delirious, and the two recreated the matrix scene between Amazing Red and Low-Ki, but they greatly improved on it. Delirious even added the "banana phone" into it. About 10 minutes of the match was Delirious and Black, and the other 5 was Generico and Milano. The time those 2 did get was decent, and Milano hit a great shining wizard. Match ended when Black hit the package driver on Generico for the 3. I cant wait to see Black back in ROH. Winner: Tyler BlackSamoa Joe enters the ring"Mama Said Knock You Out" blared over the speakers, and out came Joe. Joe wasnt working tonight due to some sort of leg injury. He came out to tear into Lethal, and let him know that he was going to be ready for him on the 25th. The crowd was behind Joe 100%. I personally cant wait to see Joe tear Lethal a new bunghole. The Havana Pitbulls vs. Hillbilly JesHUSSThe Pitbulls were back in action here, and Reyes looks to have been hitting the gym. He is much more toned than before. Romero and Reyes looked incredible tonight, and were really on the money. Its a shame the same cant be said about Whitmer and Jacobs. Jacobs was pretty crisp, but Whitmer brought the team down by botching a few moves. Whitmer went for a suplex, and accidentally dropped Romero, resulting in an absolutely nasty bump. Romero looked pissed after that, and proceeded to stiff the living hell out of Whitmer. Reyes tagged himself in, what seemingly looked like, to just get Romero out of the ring so he didnt hurt Whitmer. Reyes scored a quick pinfall with a lariat for the win. Its a shame too, because prior to the suplex botch, The Pitbulls looked like they were going to put on a classic. I honestly dont know why ROH doesnt fire Whitmer already, he is just taking up space that could be occupied by someone more important and talented. Winners: The Havana PitbullsROH Pure Title Match Nigel McGuiness © vs. Austin AriesI HATED this match. McGuiness is such an awful Pure champion. Him and Aries had zero chemistry in the ring. Luckily, Aries brought some good stuff to the table here. Aries hit a nice series of elbows that looked really painful. McGuiness on the other hand brought nothing to the table, like usual. Typical match from him, cheat, punches and kicks, headstand in the corner, more punches and kicks, then try to cheat again for the finish. When Nigel tried to cheat for the win though, Aries reversed the shot to the head by the belt and hit a great DDT on it. Aries then went to the top and hit a 450 for the 3 count. Finally the title is off of McGuiness, and around the waist of someone that can possibly do something with it. Winner: New ROH Pure Champion Austin AriesStorm makes a sceneLance Storm came out to the ring. He wanted to get some things off his chest about Danielson. Storm was immediately cut off though when Danielson came out to a chorus of boo's. Danielson and Storm stood toe to toe in the ring, until Danielson took the first shot. The two began to brawl when security came out and seperated the two of them. Man, I cant wait for April 1st to come around so we can see this damn match already. Roderick Strong vs. Low-KiI was mostly looking forward to this match. These two came out, and took it to another level. The absolute stiffness in this match is just insane, its undescribable. Strong took it to Ki early on with some VERY stiff chops, so stiff they actually made Ki's chest bleed. Ki gave Strong some of his own medicine though with some hard mongolian chops that would make any man look away. The swelling around Strongs neck by the end of the match was nasty. Near the end, it looked like Ki was going to win when he hit the Ki Krusher on Strong, but Strong kicked out to the crowds delight. Strong slowly got to his feet and hit Ki with some more chops, then hit the powerbomb backbreaker for a very close two count. He then proceeded to pick up Ki and hit the CX03 for the 3 count. The crowd was on their feet at the end, chanting "match of the year". I loved this one, and I hope we get to see these 2 clash again. Winner: Roderick StrongROH World Championship Bryan Danielson © vs. AbyssThis match seemed really odd, but it was pretty entertaining. They started out with Danielson working the mat, but the quickly made their way to the outside, and the match then escalated into a brawl. Abyss really took it to Danielson with some nasty throws into the guard rails. Nana wasnt afraid to get invloved in this match either. Abyss would distract the ref, while Nana and Shelley would double team Dragon. Shelley hit a nice dropkick on Dragon and then threw him into the ring for a 2 count by Abyss. Abyss then went back to the outside and grabbed a chair. The ref tried taking the chair, but Abyss threw him down, and proceeded to wail away at Danielson. When the ref came to, he called for an end to the match. I just think the plan was to hurt Danielson so Shelley could have an easy time in trying to take the title from him on the 25th. Shelley got in the ring and hit a nice super kick to end the show. Winner: Bryan Danielson via DQ

I cant believe I forgot to add this. Somehow I must've skipped over it while typing. I forgot to write the Second City Saints/Sydal & Evans match. Oh well I guess. Evans and Sydal picked up the win with a frog splash/630 combo.

- An absolutely HUGE 4-Corner Survival has been signed for 2/25. Christopher Daniels vs. Homicide vs. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Colt Cabana has been signed. We want to give the crowd in Edison a great show, and we here at the ROH offices feel that this match could possibly be the show stealer. Homicide and Cabana still have unfinished business with one another, so this could turn out ugly. - Also signed for Saturday is a match for the Tag-Team titles. Matt Sydal and Jack Evans won their tag match against the Second City Saints last Saturday to become the #1 contenders, and they will get their shot on the 25th. Evans and Sydal will be taking on Tony Mamaluke and Sal Rinauro in what is sure to be a fast paced match. Can Sydal and Evans bring more gold back to Generation Next? - Ever since last Saturday when Rocky Romero went nuts on BJ Whitmer, Whitmer has done nothing but request a match with him for the 25th. We here at the ROH offices are tired of hearing him complain, so we have given him his match. This match however will be a fight without honor as ROH doesnt want to sanction a match like this as these two are going to try and kill each other. -Will Bryan Danielson be able to hold onto his title when he faces off against Alex Shelley on the 25th after that beating he took at the hands of Abyss last Saturday. Shelley said he is coming with something to prove. He said he has been in ROH for a long time now, and has busted his ass, only to get stuck in the mid-card shuffle. He isnt going to leave empty handed according to Prince Nana. Speaking of Nana, during the title match, all of the Embassy will be barred from ringside. We dont want anything tarnishing this match, and if anyone comes down to ringside, they will be fired on the spot. - A huge superstar has contacted the ROH offices about challenging Bryan Danielson for the ROH World Championship at the Wrestlemania triple-shot. He has told us he will be in town for Wrestlemania, and would love to wrestle one of the best in the world in Bryan Danielson. The match has been made, and look for an announcement here in the newswire soon.

Tyler Black vs. DeliriousWhat a great opener this was. I am really glad ROH is giving Tyler Black the ball to run with, and the fact that they have been putting him in matches with Delirious is fantastic. Delirious has been extremely under-booked in his ROH career so far, and it looks like they might finally be utilizing his full potential as well. The match was great though. Both men got in a great amount of offense, and really got the crowd excited for the night. Black truly is an outstanding talent for being so damn young. The match came to an end when Black hit the package driver, which looked extra sick tonight by the way, for the 3. Winner: Tyler BlackMilano Collection AT vs. El GenericoThis was another "grudge" match. Basically, ROH just filled the card with this. It was decent, but nothing that good. I just cant get into El Generico, he is too much of a novelty, which wears off really fast. Milano on the other hand has a great move set, and a fantastic look. I can see ROH pushing him pretty far soon. Generico hit a pretty nice suicide dive mid match, but other than that, this match was all Milano. Match came to a close when Milano hit a superplex for the 3. Winner: Milano Collection ATFight Without Honor - Rocky Romero vs. BJ WhiterThe last 2 matches were labeled as "grudge" matches, but this was truly one. On the 11th when Whitemr botched a suplex on Romero, Romero went nuts and literally tried to hurt Whitmer, which is why this match was booked. Boy oh boy, did Romero unload on Whitmer. Romero came right out of the gate with some of the stiffest punches I have ever seen. At one point, it looked like Whitmer was out on his feet. Romero quickly locked in an armbar, but Whitmer rolled out of it. Romero then continued to unload. At one point, Romero kicked Whitmer right in his eye, and it instantly swelled. Romero looked like he was legit trying to kill Whitmer, which is just fine by me, as Whitmer, IMO, is a a terrible talent to have on a roster as highly regaurded as ROH's. When Romero hit 7 kicks to the head, and then locked in a crazy dragon sleeper, Whitmer tapped out, giving Romero the win. This was an extremely stiff match, and despite Romero being a heel, the crowd was behind him 100%. Winner: Rocky RomeroJimmy Rave vs. Roderick StrongThe Embassy vs. Generation Next fued continued in this match. I dont know if its just me, but Rave does absolutely nothing for me, he just seems so...there. Roddy on the other hand, is someone I can see wearing the ROH title one day. Roderick layed into Rave early on with 3 hip toss backbreakers which looked pretty sick. Rave got in some good offense too, but I think everyone knew Roderick was winning. There was only one point in which the crowd was a little uncertain. Rave had locked in the from dusk til dawn, and it looked like Roddy might tap, but he got to the ropes. Roderick hit 5 chops and the gut buster for the win. This was a decent match that helped further the Gen Next/Embassy fued. Winner: Roderick StrongStorm Makes Yet Another AppearanceLance Storm made his way to the ring for a second time this month in ROH. Once again, he came out for Bryan Danielson. Storm said he had a ton of respect for Danielson, and that he thought he was the best wrestler in the world, second only too...Storm himself. Storm then said he wanted his match with Danielson on 4/1 to be the Canadian maple leaf vs. the cattle mutilation. It sounded like he was hinting at a possible submission only match of some sort. Danielson then made his way out and into the ring. Danielson charged at Storm with the title, but Storm ducked it, and locked in the maple leaf. Danielson instantly started tapping. This was a great thing to watch, and it really looks like Storm has a good chance at winning on 4/1. Tag Title Match - Generation Next (Sydal & Evans) vs. Rinauro & MamalukeI absolutely loved this match. Normally, its hard for me to get into Rinauro & Mamaluke, and its hard for me to buy them as a formitalbe team, but tonight, they were on fire, as were Evans and Sydal (when arent they?) Evans went crazy with all the dives he was taking, he just went all out. Sydal played the role of keeping the team grounded which is a surprise as Sydal usually likes to fly aswell, but he played the part well. Rinauro and Mamaluke hit a spike powerbomb on Sydal for a very close 2 count. The match came to an end when Sydal hit the belly to belly suplex from the top on Rinauro, which put Evans in the position to hit the 630 for the win. Evans and Sydal are the new tag champs, and quite frankly, I couldnt be happier. Evans has worked his ass off in ROH, and its about time he gets some gold, the same goes for Sydal. This match was just a sight to be seen. Winners and new tag champs: Matt Sydal & Jack EvansHomicide vs. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Colt Cabana vs. Christopher DanielsClaudio seemed kind of thrown into this one, and he didnt really fit in too well. He tried his ebst to keep up, and put forth a very commendable effort, but it just wasnt up to par with the things Cide and Cabana were doing. Those 2 were working with each other so well. I cant wait to see the huge blowoff to this fued, it should be great. Daniels also was just kinda there in this match too. It was basically booked to further Cide/Cabana, and it served its purpose in that respect, but completely misused 2 other workers in the process. I just wasnt really feeling this match, and I dont think the rest of the crowd really was either. It was decent, but could have been a lot better IMO. Winner: HomicideJay Lethal vs. Samoa JoeJoe was still showing the effects of whatever leg injury he had that cuased him to miss the show on the 11th. He was still good to go though. Lethal is another one that is just kinda...there. He isnt someone who is really good, but he isnt bad either. He isnt exactly over with the crowd either, infact, he kinda bores them. Joe brought this match up though, and really gave 110%. Joe came out ready to go, and he did just that. He hit some very nice kicks and chops on Lethal, and an Ole kick on the outside which got the fans all riled up. There really isnt much more I can say about this one, except for the fact that it was a pretty good match, but not better than their Steel Cage Warfare match. Joe got the win with the muscle buster. Winner: Samoa JoeROH Championship - Bryan Danielson © vs. Alex ShelleyThis is what everyone came out to see. With Nana and crew barred from ringside, this was going to be a great bout. Danielson was still showing effects from his match with Abyss on the last show, which added a great element to this match. Shelley took it to Danielson early on, and was just dominating. Danielson came back mid match was a nice series of suplexes. Danielson went for several pins, but was unable to secure the 3 count. Near the end, Shelley went for a clothesline, but hit the ref instead. While the ref was down, Shelley went to the outside and grabbed a chair. He set the chair up, and lifted Danielson like he was going to go for a brainbuster on the chair. Danielson reversed and locked in the cattle mutilation. The ref came to right as Shelley began to tap out. This was a really fun and exciting match with some very close nearfalls that got the crowd going. I would have loved to see Shelley win, but he isnt quite voer enough yet, but his time will come soon enough. This was a great match, definately MOTN. Winner: Bryan Danielson

THIS JUST IN! - CZW has just sent word to our offices that in order for us to be able to use their arena on the 11th of March, we will have to put all of our titles on the line against their top guys. This is a huge blow to us. We here at the ROH offices are still unsure of what we are going to do. We are going to try and find a new venue to run in so we dont have to waste our time with that scum, but it might be hard considering we dont have much time. We will keep you updated on this situation as things progress.

- We here at ROH have decided to go ahead and accept CZW's request to have their top, hand selected talent challenge the ROH World Champion, Pure Champion, and Tag-Team champions. CZW let ROH know that the only way for us to use the New Alhambra Arena was to accept their demands. So, tonight it will be ROH vs. CZW at the New Alhambra Arena. - CZW has notified the ROH offices, that Claudio Castagnoli and El Generico will be challenging Jack Evans and Matt Sydal for the ROH tag-team championships. It appears as if Generico and Castagnoli have defected over to the CZW side. None-the-less, this should be a high impact bout that will have some huge ramifications if the CZW guys were to win. - The challengers for the World and Pure championships have yet to be decided by CZW. Bryan Danielson and Austin Aries have said that they are ready ofr anything, and that they guarantee they will beat whoever CZW throws in the way. CZW responded saying that the challenger to the Pure title is going to be a HUGE shock because it will be someone from the ROH locker room who has personally let Zandig know that he is defecting from ROH to CZW. Who could this man be? - Also on the card tonight, Tyler Black will be taking on Delirious. Delirious and Black have been tearing up ROH together as of late, and we have been extremely impressed by their performances. Therefore, expect to see much more of these 2 in ROH in the near future. - Roderick Strong has challenged Jimmy Rave and Alex Shelley to a tag-team match, but all of Strong's Generation Next running buddies are booked in matches tonight. The match has been booked, but if Roderick is unable to find himself a partner, then it will be a handicap match. Strong has been very quiet in the locker room, and it doesnt look as if he is even trying to find a partner, but he has told us not to worry, that he will have someone on his side tonight. - Homicide and Colt Cabana will clash once again tonight. The 2 went at it in the 4 corner survival at the last show, and have both requested another match together. These 2 are no stranger to one another as they have been going at it for a good part of 2005. The 2 will have tonight, and then Wrestlemania weekend to settle their differences. After that point, ROH has decided to stop booking the 2 against each other as we fully believe someone is going to get severely hurt.

They bitch about the Newswires talking about how it doesnt sound like something Gabe would write, blah, blah, blah. Im tired of posting my stuff over there as it always gets crap on. Tyler Black vs. DeliriousOnce again, these 2 absolutely gave the crowd everything they have. Tyler Black is so God damned good for his age, its incredible. BUT, while these 2 tore the house down, it wasnt really anything new. Yes, the match was really good, but they didnt improve on their previous encounters, infact, it was basically the same match. I really think these 2 should be booked against some other talent on the ROH roster to see what they can do, as they have already proven what they can do together. Anyways, the match came to an end, once again, with the package driver by Black. Winner: Tyler BlackMilano Collection AT vs. Jimmy YangThis was a great bout that really got the crowd going. Yang and Milano have excellent chemistry in the ring, and I would love to see more of these 2 going at it. Milano seemed really on his game tonight. The match was really good, with both men getting in equal amounts of offense. THe crowd had no clue who was going to win, and were on the edge of their seats the entire time. At one point, Milano hit a nice roaring elbow and then locked in a headscissors. It looked as if Yang was going to tap out, but he got to the ropes. Yang ended up getting the win with the Yang time. Winner: Jimmy YangHomicide vs. Colt CabanaThe hatred between these 2 continued in this match. Homicide took it to Cabana early on with a series of suplexes. The match soon escalated to an all out brawl with the 2 going all over the arena and into the eagles nest. It looked like Cabana was going to throw Homicide off the eagles next, but Rocky Romero and Ricky Reyes came out and began to take it to Cabana. The match was immediately thrown out. Romero, Reyes, and Homicide really layed into Cabana. Homicide was busy working on Cabana atop the eagles nest while Reyes and Romero set up a table below. Once the table was set up, Homicide hit the cop killa through the table on Cabana. Cabana was left a bloody mess. Winner: Colt Cabana via DQRoderick Introduces...Roderick Strong came out to the ring. Strong made a spiel about how he wouldnt mind working against Shelley and Rave on his own as he could easily take them, but someone in the back wanted a piece of them just as bad as he did. And that man, was none other than...AJ STYLES! Roderick Strong & AJ Styles vs. Alex Shelley & Jimmy RaveThis was an excellent tag-team match. Strong and Styles worked great together, and Rave and Shelley have great chemistry inside the ring. Strong started the match with some brutal chops to Rave, who tagged out and brought Shelley in. Roddy took it to Shelley with a very stiff flying kick to the face. Mid match saw Styles hit the Clash on Shelley for a very close 3 count, only to have Rave break it up. The match eventually broke down to Rave and Styles going at it, and Strong and Shelley brawling. The match came to an end when Styles hit the top rope Styles Clash for the 3 count. The crowd was on their feet chanting "Match of the year!" Winners: Roderick Strong & AJ StylesROH Tag-Team Championships Jack Evans & Matt Sydal vs. El Generico & Claudio CastagnoliThis match was decent. Evans and Sydal REALLY showcased their abilities in this one. Prior to the match starting, Evans got on the mic and said he was going to debut a new finisher tonight. The crowd popped huge for the announcement. The match got underway quickly with Claudio and Sydal pairing off outside the ring. Claudio hit a sick lariat to keep Sydal down for awhile. Generico and Castagnoli tried doubleteaming Evans, but he had none of it. Evans hit multiple dives on them until Sydal could get up. The end of the match saw Sydal dive to the outside with a springboard shooting star press to take Generico out, while Evans debuted the double moonsault on the inside to Castagnoli for the victory. ROH got the clean victory in this one, so I guess you could put them ahead, 1-0 in this war. Winners: Jack Evans & Matt SydalROH Pure Championship Austin Aries vs. ???Austin Aries hit the ring first. He stood around waiting, with the crowd impatianately biting their nails to see who his opponent would be. After about 2 minutes, "Fire" by Scooter blasted over the speakers, to reveal Steve Corino. Corino got on the mic and said he has been waiting on the sidelines for the past couple of months with ROH, waiting to be booked in a match. He said he was tired of waiting, so he decided to join a promotion that would appreciate his skill. So, it looks like Steve Corino is no longer working for ROH, rather he is now tied with CZW. The match was a decent one. Aries pretty much dominated the first half with some very stiff punches and kicks. Corino came back though near the end, and got several very close falls. Everyone thought he was taking the title. But, the end came when Aries reversed the Old School Expulsion and hit a sick brainbuster for the win. Everyone cheered Aries on at the end of the match. Winner: Austin AriesROH World Championship Bryan Danielson vs. ???Danielson made his way to the ring, but was jumped on his way by Necro Butcher. It looks like the ROH fans were going to get what they wanted, Necro Butcher vs. Bryan Danielson. Needless to say, this match SUCKED hard. Everyone rants about Butcher, but he is the biggest pile of trash I have ever seen step into a ring. He is in no way worthy of an ROH title shot, let alone against one of the greatest wrestlers in the world today. But, I was happy to see Danielson absolutely bury Butcher. Danielson just completely anhiliated Butcher. There were so many straight up punches to the head in this one. The end came when Danielson kicked Butchers head in, and then applied the cattle mutilation. Butcher tapped like a little bitch, and Danielson held onto this title. Im glad this match is finally over and done with, because now I dont have to hear the ROHbots bitch about not getting Necro/Danielson. Are you guys happy now? You finally got your craptastic match that you wanted oh so badly. ROH now leads this "war" (if you can even call it that) 3-0. Winner: Bryan Danielson

When are you going to start posting again. I am really interested in this diary. Uhh...arent you the one that said I blow more than the admins over at EWB? Infact, here is the exact quote "You blow more than the [image] ing admins. If the admis heard that uh oh. They can blow their mom's" So yeah, needless to say, if I were to continue this diary, it sure as hell wouldnt be for you.
