TNA IMPACT! ResultsDate: 1st March 2007The show kicks off with The Naturals already in the ring. Behind them stands a hangman’s noose. Chase Stevens gets on the microphone, and begins hyping The Naturals as the greatest team in TNA. Stevens announces that the Devils rejects are coming to TNA, and that at Destination X, it will be The Naturals taking on Team KAOS, in a Hangman’s Horror match! With the ring cleared, the lights go out. Haunting music starts, with a chiming sound being heard across the arena. As the lights come back on the debuting Eric Darkstorm is already in the ring. His hair is dyed a crimson red and he is wearing a crimson robe. Eric Darkstorm Defeated Sonjay Dutt via pinfall after the 450 splash at 3:12Eric Darkstorm debuted in impressive fashion completely destroying Dutt. Dutt came in hopeful but was floored early on, and the beating continued from there. Darkstorm finished Dutt off with the 450 splash. Match Quality: 69%America’s Most Wanted are backstage ready for an interview. Before they even get to say anything Team 3D jump them from behind. After dismantling AMW they put Harris through a table before hitting the 3D on Storm onto the concrete floor. They leave laughing as medics check on America’s Most Wanted. KENTA & Jay Lethal Defeated Matt Bentley & Ultimo Guerrero via pinfall after the Busaiku Knee Kick at 10:52The match itself was simply incredible, although the fans were not as pumped about it. KENTA came out strong, and the crowds really got behind the X-Division Champion. Ultimo looked close to getting the win over Lethal, but he got the hot tag to KENTA, who cleared house, finishing Dragon off with the Busaiku Knee Kick for the pinfall victory. Match Quality: 84%AJ Styles is backstage for an interview. He hypes up his match against Chris Benoit later tonight, saying that tonight he proves to the world that he is the best, and that he is simply phenomenal. Winner enters Extreme Ultimate X Alex Shelley Defeated Homicide via pinfall after the Shellshock at 13:21This match was incredible, the crowd did not think it would be any good, but where shocked by the performance that was put on. Shelley was the star of the match, and the show so far, putting on one hell of a performance, and nearly killed himself at one point after a suicide dive from the ring rope to the outside. Shelley countered a superkick attempt, and hit the Shellshock for the victory. Match Quality: 92%Jeff Jarrett is shown backstage preparing for his upcoming match against Samoa Joe. Paul Burchill Defeated Jeff Jarrett via pinfall after a rollup at 14:52This was a great match, although it was not as good as the one it followed. Jarrett looked like he was going to get the win a number of times but Burchill kept fighting back and refused to go down. Jarrett hit the stroke but Low Ki made his way to the ring, distracting Jarrett. Jarrett argues with Low Ki, giving Burchill the time to recover and role Jarrett up for the win. Match Quality: 75%Kurt Angle comes out to the ring, getting great heel heat from the crowd. He calls out Sting, knowing full well that he is not in the building. - Christian Cage has put himself into rehab after admitting to a cocaine habit. His feud with Jerry Lynn has been ended and he will be entering into a feud with Samoa Joe in the coming weeks. - Low Ki is to be pushed into the main event, starting with his feud with Jeff Jarrett that started this week on IMPACT. Expect them to face off against each other at Destination X. - This week’s IMPACT got the highest rating for an edition of IMPACT ever. This is great news as the contract is up for renewal in three months. - Matt Bentley & Ultimo Dragon, as well as KENTA & Jay Lethal are both going to be used as regular tag team partners. Both teams had great chemistry during their match and it is a chance to build on the good tag team division. - There are still two places open for the Extreme Ultimate X match at Destination X. Chris Sabin is expected to be involved but the fourth place is up in the air.

TNA IMPACT ResultsDate: 8th March 2007IMPACT kicked off with a new video package and opening music, “Pain” by three days grace. Post Video, Kurt Angle made his way to the ring, to a less than flattering reaction from the crowd. Angle talked about how he is the only person in TNA who is worth watching, and then challenged Sting once again. The lights then went off and a thunderous noise was heard. When they came on the words “Sting V. Kurt Angle – Destination X” appeared on the big screen. Erik Darkstorm Defeated Kazarian via pinfall after the 450 splash at 4:21A decent match that was yet again nothing more that a squash. Darkstorm dominated, and got another win. Match Quality: 56%Alex Shelley was then shown backstage. He hyped his win last week and then proclaimed that he would be the next X-Division champion. KENTA then walked into the view of the camera and stared down Shelley. Shelley pretended to speak Japanese before leaving. KENTA stared at him with a confused look as we go to the next match. Winner enters Extreme Ultimate X Chris Sabin Defeated Petey Williams via pinfall after the Cradle Shock at 13:51This match was pure gold, and it was a good decision for the match to go this long. Williams looked impressive, but was completely outshone by Sabin. There were a number of great spots, especially one where Williams hit a moonsault from the top rope to the outside. Sabin would block the Canadian Destroyer with a low blow, and hit the Cradle Shock for the win. Match Quality: 95%A video package was played. It showed one silhouette before saying “Roderick Strong is coming to TNA” Team 3D were then shown backstage. They hyped up their attack from last week and proclaimed that it does not matter who they are facing at Destination X, they will be the ones walking away with the gold. Winners challenge for the TNA Tag Team Titles at Destination X America’s Most Wanted Defeated LAX via pinfall after the Death Sentence at 13:56An excellent tag match that proved that both of these teams deserve to be in the title picture. Storm started out, and wrestled in the majority of the match. Harris put on the star performance, and pinned Homicide after the death sentence. Match Quality: 85%Post match America’s Most Wanted celebrated their win, when Team 3D tried to jump them from behind. After a wild brawl Team 3D were sent running. The lights went out and a clanging sound was heard, followed by something that sounded like nails on a chalkboard. A loud voice started shouting: “Too evil for hell, we were thrown out by Lucifer himself, now we arrive here, to bring hell to TNA. The Devil’s rejects are here” The camera then went backstage where Low Ki was laid down and out on his locker room floor. The camera then went to the door where you could briefly see Jeff Jarrett leaving the room. Samoa Joe Defeated Jerry Lynn via submission after the Kokina clutch at 17:42A great match that saw both superstars give it their all. Lynn looked good against the younger Samoa Joe, but Joe’s brutal shots left Lynn dazed late in the match. Lynn would go for the superkick but Joe ducked and hit the Muscle Buster, followed by the Kokina Clutch for the win. Match Quality: 82%AJ Styles was then shown backstage staring at the camera. The only word he said were “Benoit, this is not over!” A hype video is played. It shows the words “Beast” and “Monster” before someone shouts out the word “Pounce!” as the video fades to black. Christopher Daniels Defeated Rhino via pinfall after the Angels wings at 16:35A good match, although not the best they could have put on. Chris Benoit was watching from ringside. Benoit came out strong but was completely overpowered by the war machine. Rhino nearly got the win a number of times but only got near falls. The end came when Rhino went for the Gore but Daniels dodged and sent Rhino into the ringpost. Daniels followed up with the Angels wings for the victory as IMPACT came to a close. Match Quality: 73%

A brutal knee to the skull would split Steiner open, and gave Joe the chance to lock in the Kokina Clutch for the submission victory.
