Yes, it was on the air...but I'll put it this way. If you didn't know it was TNA being promoted, you'd never know. It wasn't like they zoomed in on the banner or anything. All you saw was a plane with a banner attached. ...more money well spent.  |

Plus from one of Mike Johnson's reports, Fantasy, a local strip club did exactly what was said that TNA planned to do. So by theory, TNA may not even have done it. But I wasn't there live. Big surprise, TNA does something someone else is doing or has done. |

Pulled this from a fan's report on PWInsider and it seems truthful.
"Despite some speculation, TNA never flew a plane over the Citrus Bowl, although there were no shortage of annoying aircraft hovering above. One advertised a strip club and bore the suitable message, "Wooo!"

Wow, what a surprise. TNA is too afraid to pull the trigger. It would have been nice if they atleast vaguely attempted to try and put something together however they just failed like they fail at producing an intriguing wrestling product  |

I don't know what's funnier. The fact that people didn't belive someone who was there untill it came from PWInsider (that person being XXIV or the fact that some people actually wanted them to do it. The thing is it was a damned if we do and damned if we don't situation. They do it, half of the IWC would bitch "How disrespectful on TNA's half. They ruined this event blah blah blah" and if they didn't "Oh, see that just proves TNA's scared of the WWE".
