i love how everyone on here the past month has trashed Flair saying hes old, he cant entertain anymore, he should retire yet whos leading the votes for Performer of the Night? ? 58 year old Ric Flair!!! and dont give me crap about "oh Shawn carried him the entire match" cause if that was true HBK would be leading this.....This just proves that it doesnt matter if its 1983 with Harley Race or 2008 with Shawn Michaels...Ric Flair is and always will be the greatest in ring performer of ALL TIME Then why did Flair have such bad matches the last few years? He only try's on his "last match". Very simple, Flair is like any wrestler, he wrestles the same way every time, HBK included. Some people however realize that this is the LAST time that Flair will ever wrestle so they see it differently. We dont remember everything, our minds just let us remember the memorable things. This being a memorable moment it brought some (like myself who are old enough to remember flair before MNWs) back to our childhood and even some others who didnt know that flair, to open their eyes and see what we have seen for the past 35 years (or 20 in my case)

Who are these people that put Flair over HBK? How could this be allowed?

I've never said that about Flair, so don't claim that everyone said it, just to make yourself look exclusive. 2. Stop being angry. I voted for Flair. He pulled out the stops, and I will never forget the look on his face as he got ready to end the match. Thanks for the years of greatness, Naitch.

Okay the fact everyone is voting Flair silly, if he wasn't retiring, you would all be voting Shawn Michaels or Benjamin. Or you should be.
Shawn, well I wouldn't go as far as saying he carried Flair, but he was the best performer of the night.
Shawn Michaels perfomed better than Flair in that match, deny it all you want because of Flair leaving, but you watch that match, and you kow that Shawn was the best at least out of that match.

I can honestly say that I wanted Flair to retire 5 or so years ago, but last night was just so magical, and you can't look past Naitch as the show stealer last night.

Ric Flair. Possibly my favourite match of his. HBK closely follows him, he put up a great performance too.

Flair, I can't even explain it but anyone who can add raw emotion to there match like that and make grown men cry is something special.

I only voted for Flair because of age vs. match. He WASNT the best wrestler or performer tonight, but when you compare what he put on versus his age or what hes done lately, you see that he did damn good.

Flair. Charles Robinson would easily be second. His sprint down to the ring during Taker/Edge was one of the funniest things i've seen in a while... Flair And i agree with you dude, I was just waiting for him to fall over i wouldn't have stopped laughing.

people need to quit giving Flair sympathy votes. If you love him fine, but dont just vote for him cuz it was his last match

Shawn Michaels as he managed to carry Flair to a half decent match how people can say Flair was the performer of the night really does baffle me. He did wonders for the wrestling busins but truth is the last few years he has become a joke. Last nights match was good but not great and it only scrapped by because HBK was able to carry him.
