I know everyone's entitled to their opinion, but I don't get, even three years later, why so many people think 21 was such a great show. I enjoyed it a lot right after the fact, and defended it for a while. That was until I realized my defense went something like this: "It was an enjoyable show. It'd be one of the best Wrestlemanias ever if it weren't for the fact that both Main Events were disappointing, the Sumo/Women's title matches were on the card to begin with, and Eddie/Rey wasn't nearly as good as I expected." Now, I just look at it as a fun event that I only watch a third of on DVD. Anywho, the worst I could say about last night's show is that it's my third favorite Wrestlemania of all time. Some time needs to pass before I can decide whether or not it surpasses XIX for the number 2 spot. But nothing's going to top X7 unless we someday get Austin/Hogan and HBK/'Taker on the same card with Ashley Tisdale making an obligatory celebrity appearance. And I don't know what's more unlikely; an Austin/Hogan match or Ashley Tisdale still being famous by the time the next WM rolls around. Probably the latter, considering HSM3 is coming.

Like right after the event happened I was a huge supporter of the show and defended it when people said it sucked. But then I realized.. a show with two bad main events, a sumo match and a pretty lackluster woman's match can't really be that good. But it's still a show I love to watch because it had 4 really good matches and HBK/Angle is probably my favorite match ever. Plus it had a cool Piper's Pit segment, and Hogan and Hassan's segment is fun too.

The fact that Orton went over both Triple H and Cena made this night really special for me. Add Taker getting the belt back and being 16-0, The amazing Flair/Michaels match/ending, Punk winning MITB, and Flairs entrance attire alone makes this my second favortie Mania ever, right behind XIX.

I would say this was the most visually-stunning WrestleMania since III or XVII, but it definitely wasn't one of the best, in my opinion.
JBL/Finlay was lackluster, MITB was not as good as previous years, Batista/Umaga was incredibly boring, Kane's quick victory was neither good nor bad, HBK/Flair was pretty good given the age of Flair and what they had to work with, but I wasn't blown away, Bunnymania was also pretty boring and the booking reminded me of a women's match on Raw, WWE title match was hardly worth noting and a real disappointment wrestling-wise, Show/Mayweather was decent and a little better than expected, and Edge/Taker was the match of the night and one of only few reasons to watch the show again.
I've always been a supporter of feuds ending at WrestleMania and we didn't see much of that last night. Edge/Taker was a great example, however, Finlay/JBL and the WWE title triple threat all appear to continue the feuds when a conclusion could have been reached. WrestleMania should be the definitive blow-off event for feuds, but that didn't occur at 'Mania XXIV and I was a little disappointed. Also, the crowd was pretty much dead throughout the show which brought the experience down for me watching at a friend's house. If the booking had been changed slightly and fans were active for every match, I might have considered this event great, but it wasn't for me, so it's just another average WrestleMania.
However, the visuals of the outdoor event with pyro and entrances was fantastic and it's a shame the crowd didn't feed off of this more than they did last night.

It was a good WM, but not the best. I still think WMX7 was the best of them so far. It was much better then WM22 in chicago, but I liked last years Mania better then this years.

I liked it, but definately doesn't come close to X-7.

I'd say it's the best since 21. Agreed

It was good, probably better than 23, 22 and 21, but not one of the best.

When it's all said and done, and we look back in retrospect, this Mania will only be remembered for ONE thing......HBK and Ric Flair. There was nothing else memorable about it. WHAT!! The MITB was great, the best yet. Taker and Edge will be considered a classic, and Orton winning the Triple Threat will go down as his biggest win to date.

Since I've seen WM 17+, I'd give it a top ranking.
WM 19 WM 24 WM 17 WM 21 WM 20 WM 18 WM 22 WM 23
It was a really, really good show.

Not at all. The only matches that had me really excited were Flair VS HBK and UT Vs Edge.

You people are God damned insane. Wolf man... better than 17? You're ing with me, right? This show was average at VERY best. The Flair/Michaels match was special, but the rest was decent. That's it. You people are crazy.

The biggest dissapointment for me was CM Punk winning the MITB other than that I thought it was one of the best WM's I've seen, but WM 6 is my favorite.

Ehh, the last WrestleMania I was really crazy about all around was WMXX.

Not the best, but far better than 23, 22, and even 21, which I personally loved.
I would even put it ahead of 20, which, even though it has sentimental value to me, really wasn't all that great aside from the main event.
I'd say it's about on par with Wrestlemania XIX, but neither hold a candle to X-Seven.

Best since 17, I'll say that much. Ditto.

It was a phenominal WM, no doubt. Calling it "the best" may be stretching it, though.
