Friday, Week 1, April 2008Last week at Wrestlemania The Undertaker walked out not only 16-0 at Wrestlemania but the new World Heavyweight Champion. Now its time for somebody to step up and take on The Deadman. Who will rise up to the challenge and can they dethrone the champion?
Plus this past Monday during the draft, both Batista & Edge got drafted to Raw. Now tonight on Smackdown Batista & Edge will have their final match on Smackdown as they go one on one. The winner of this match will then face Triple H on Raw with the winner facing Randy Orton at Backlash.
Also this past Tuesday on ECW, CM Punk overcame both Jamie Noble & Elijah Burke in a grueling Triple Threat match. Thanks to that win Smackdown will be receiving one extra draft pick. Who will be coming to Smackdown? and what impact will they look to make on their debut? Also for the people that replied I should reply to your diaries tomorrow If I can stay awake. I have been a bit tired the last couple of days and so haven't had time to get to them sorry.

Friday, Week 1, April 2008Smackdown opens up with the set for the VIP Lounge. MVP comes out and welcomes his guest Matt Hardy. Hardy comes out and the two argue. Hardy then challenges MVP to a match for the U.S Title which MVP refuses, claiming Hardy hasn’t proved himself. MVP says he needs a challenger that can actually challenge him, someone who is a winner. CM Punk then comes out and says that he deserves a shot at the US Title. MVP tries to get out of it by saying Money in the Bank means nothing and that CM Punk hasn’t even had his first official match on Smackdown yet. Punk agrees and so he challenges him to a match tonight. Matt Hardy gets involved and says that if anyone gets a match tonight it was him. The two then decide to team up and face MVP in a tag team match allowing MVP to find any partner he wants. MVP agrees and says that they don’t have a chance at beating The Franchise Player.Opening Match, Tag Team Match – Jesse & Festus V Deuce ‘N’ DominoThis was quite a good match, Jesse & Festus got quite a good reaction from the crowd whereas D & D got no reaction what so ever. Festus dominated as soon as the bell rang and went right through Deuce and then Domino. Jesse then got tagged in but was taken down when Domino began beating him down while Deuce distracted the referee. D & D then kept Jesse in their corner while they made quick tags and beat down on Jesse. Domino then tried a clothesline on Jesse but he ducked it. Jesse then dropkicked Domino to the mat and crawled over to Festus. Jesse made the tag and at the same time Domino tagged in Deuce. Festus came running in and slammed down Deuce. Domino then got to his feet and was also taken down and then thrown over the ropes. Deuce tried to fight back against Festus but Festus blocked it all and lifted Deuce onto his shoulders, he then spun Deuce’s upperbody off his shoulders and fell backwards driving Deuce chest first onto the mat with a Fireman’s Carry Flapjack. 1…2…3!
After the match Festus went back to his usual self while Jesse got onto the microphone. Jesse said that he and Festus have proved themselves enough that they want John Morrison & The Miz next week on Smackdown for the Tag Team Titles. Jesse & Festus defeated Deuce 'n' Domino when Festus defeated Deuce by pinfall with a Fireman’s Carry Flapjack.Backstage Kenny Dykstra is seen with the newest Smackdown Diva, Ashley. Kenny is trying to be all cool and impress Ashley however Ashley just isn’t interested. He tries to ask her out after the show however she just tries to walk off. Kenny doesn’t like it and so he grabs her arm and pulls her back. Kenny says that he wasn’t asking he was demanding. Kenny then says he is about to face Chuck Palumbo and Ashley will be at ringside and she will be going out after the show. He then shoves her forward as they walk along the corridor to the ring. Single Match – Kenny Dykstra VS Chuck PalumboThis was an alright match with both men getting a lot of offense. During the match Michelle McCool would try to talk to Ashley however Kenny would always scare her away. Kenny took control for a while when he jammed his thumb into Palumbo’s eyes however Palumbo would come back later on and use his power to overcome Kenny. Palumbo then tried a superkick but Kenny ducked and went behind him. He then rolled him by the side of the ring and put his feet on the ropes. 1…2…3!
After the match Kenny fled the ring and went over to Ashley. He grabbed Ashley by the arm and dragged her to the ramp. Michelle McCool tried to stop him but she just grabbed her and shoved her onto the floor. Chuck did not like this as he got out of the ring and went to face Kenny who began walking quicker up the ramp away from him with Ashley. Chuck then checked on Michelle. Kenny Dykstra defeated Chuck Palumbo by pinfall with a rollup while using the ropes for leverage.Backstage Edge is seen with his Edgeheads & Vickie Guerrero. The Edgeheads are unhappy that Edge is going over to Raw and want something done about it. Edge says there is nothing he can do except go to Raw and become WWE Champion once again. He says that the Edgeheads will have to do the best they can by themselves and says that Vickie, who also cannot go with him to Raw, will look after them. Edge gave Vickie a kiss before walking off to prepare for his match with Batista. The Edgeheads begin asking Vickie loads of questions about what are they going to do now without Edge.
Smackdown comes back from a commercial break and The Big Show is walking down a corridor. He then stops as The Samoan Bulldozer Umaga appears from the side. Umaga begins shouting at Big Show which Big Show just stands his ground. Show then says that he is tired of seeing Umaga around here. There is not enough room for the both of them on this brand and that Umaga should go back to Raw. He says that he is the strongest and best guy on Smackdown and nobody is going to match him. He says he challenges Umaga to a contest, tonight each man will be in a handicap match to prove who is the stronger of the two. Suddenly The Edge heads come around the corner still upset and walk right into the confrontation. Big Show stops them and tells them they are to meet him in the ring right now before walking off and leaving Umaga by himself.Handicap Match – The Big Show VS The EdgeheadsThis was just a complete squash. Big Show just took both men completely out. Neither man even got any offense except for a punch which didn’t affect Show at all. Big Show then grabbed both men and hit a huge Double Chokeslam followed by putting his hands on both men for the count. 1…2…3!
After the match Big Show taunted to the crowd for a second before Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore came out.Big Show defeated The Edgeheads in 6:31 when Big Show defeated Zack Ryder by pinfall with a Show Stopper.Handicap Match – Umaga VS Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon MooreUmaga came out and it was time for his handicap match. Big Show stayed at ringside to watch. Once again it was just another complete squash. Umaga went right through both men just like Big Show had done before him. Umaga then went to hit the Samoan Spike on Shannon Moore, Yang tried to stop him but was met with a huge superkick knocking him down. He then hit the Samoan Spike on Moore and covered. 1…2…3!
After the match he got Yang to his feet and hit a Samoan Spike on him as well. Big Show then got onto the apron and began clapping for the big Samoan. Umaga stood in the center staring at Show as he got into the ring. Big show got on the microphone and congratulated Umaga. He said well done on getting the victory in his match however them two were not any competition anyway. He said since there was no other way to decide who was stronger he is challenging him to a match at Backlash. Umaga began screaming at Show which got Show confused. Big Show just shook his head and said alright I will just take that as a yes. Umaga defeated Jimmy Wang Yang & S. Moore when Umaga defeated Shannon Moore by pinfall with a Samoan Spike.Backstage CM Punk is seen preparing for his tag team match. Matt Hardy comes in and tells him that tonight it’s all about putting a stop to MVP. Both men want the US Title but right now is not the time to argue over who gets it. CM Punk agrees and says that they will close MVP’s mouth tonight however next week their partnership is over and its ever man for himself. He says he will do anything for a US Title shot and Matt Hardy won’t be able to stop him. Hardy laughs and says if that’s the way you want it, then may the best man win. The two shake hands before Matt Hardy leaves.Single Match – Mr. Kennedy VS Super CrazySuper Crazy making his return to Smackdown while Mr. Kennedy makes his Smackdown debut. Like the past two matches this was another squash however not as bad. Super Crazy actually got a bit of offense in and almost pinned Kennedy at one point with a quick roll up. Kennedy though came back pissed off and hitting hard. He then dodged a dropkick, lifted Crazy to his feet and hit The Mic Check. 1…2…3!
After the match Kennedy did the belt around the waist taunt before walking up the ramp. Mr.Kennedy defeated Super Crazy by pinfall with the Mic CheckTag Team Match – MVP & The Great Khali VS Matt Hardy & CM PunkMVP welcomed The Great Khali as his tag team partner which Punk & Hardy were not too happy about. MVP let Khali start it out against Matt Hardy. Khali pretty much dominated the match, neither Hardy nor CM Punk could get any advantage over the giant. MVP would come in quickly every now and then only to get some kicks and stuff in before tagging Khali back in. Finally after a while Punk hit a dropkick to Khali’s leg and it gave way. However Khali was still on his other knee and just shoved Punk away. He then tagged in Hardy and together they both dropkicked Khali in the face which put him onto the mat. Hardy began kicking and punching at Khali trying to do as much damage as possible before he got up. Khali would finally wake up and shove Hardy away and get to his feet. He then hit a spinning heel kick on Hardy which came out of nowhere followed by MVP being tagged in to get the win. MVP tried to pin him but Hardy kicked out. He then went to hit his finisher but Hardy began fighting back, but before MVP could get away and tag Khali, Hardy got to his feet and dived on him. He began beating down on MVP before trying a Twist of Fate. MVP though pushed Hardy forward and into Punk who fell off the apron. The ref leaned over the ropes to check on Punk while Hardy turned back to MVP. MVP came in hard with a stiff kick right below the belt, followed by The Playmaker. 1…2…3!
After the match MVP stood tall over Hardy with his US Title while Punk looked on from outside. The Great Khali and Montel Vontavious Porter defeated CM Punk and Matt Hardy when Montel Vontavious Porter defeated Matt Hardy by pinfall with a Playmaker.Backstage Batista is being interviewed by Josh Mathews. Josh asks him how he feels about leaving Smackdown. Batista answers honestly and says that his loved his time on Smackdown and loves the fans however times change and now it’s time for Batista to go in a different direction on Raw. He says this probably won’t be the last of Batista on Smackdown but for right now he is focused and ready to win the WWE Title. He tells Edge that the Animal is fired up and he will get the victory tonight and move on to face Triple H on Raw, followed by facing Randy Orton at Backlash for the WWE Title.Single Match – Edge VS BatistaThis was a really good match. Both men gave it everything they had. Both men went back and forth and neither took clear control of the match till later on. Edge kept trying to finish it as early as he could but Batista wouldn’t give in. Later on in the match Edge tried hitting a Spear but Batista stopped it and lifted Edge into the air and planted him down with a Spinebuster. Batista then went to hit the Batista Bomb but Edge jumped down off his shoulders behind him. Edge then ran into the ropes and came back as Batista turned around, he tried to hit the spear but Batista dodged it and threw him into the turnbuckle. Batista then ran into the ropes and came off trying to hit his own spear on Edge. Edge though would not let it end with that as he jumped over Batista to dodge the Spear. Batista stopped himself from going into the ropes and turned around to Edge who tried to run at Batista. Batista though hit Edge in the head with his knee and then kicked him in the midsection. Batista lifted Edge up into the air and delivered a devastating Batista Bomb. 1…2…3! Batista defeated Edge by pinfall with a Batista Bomb.Theodore Long came out without Vickie Guerrero and announced that it was time to name a new No.1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Title. The Undertaker then makes his way out to the ring but doesn’t take off his coat and hat. He stands in the ring ext to Teddy and listens. Teddy says that he has searched the whole roster for someone that truly deserves the chance for a title shot.
MRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. KENNEDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mr. Kennedy walks out from the back with a big smile on his face. He gets into the ring and shakes hands with Teddy Long. He gets on the microphone and says thank you for this chance, he is very grateful for this chance at Backlash. He says that he will face the Phenom and he will walk out World Heavyweight Champi…….
Kennedy is suddenly cut off though as Long interrupts. He tells Kennedy that he is not the No.1 Contender which Kennedy does not like. Long says he has found another man to face The Undertaker at Backlash in what is sure to be a huge main event. Suddenly on the titantron is the familiar draft screen that’s been popping up all week. It goes through every Raw & ECW superstar as it searches for Smackdown’s newest superstar. It begins slowing down and is about to stop when it comes up Triple H which the crowd gives a huge cheer for. However the screen isn’t finished as it moves once more to the next picture. The crowd gives a huge mixed reaction, half the crowd cheering and the other half booing. Kennedy cannot believe it as he looks up at the picture. Suddenly My Time is Now begins to play as John Cena makes his way out from the back. The reactions begin getting even louder as Cena walks out and walks towards the ring.
Cena gets into the ring and shouts out that he is back on Smackdown. Kennedy interrupts and tells Cena that this is pathetic, Cena had his chance on Raw and he failed at Wrestlemania. He says that he can’t come to Smackdown and cost him his chance at the belt. Cena buts in and tells Kennedy that like he said o Raw he will admit he lost to Randy Orton at Wrestlemania however he went out kicking and screaming. He says that he may have lost but he did it fighting and now it’s time for another chance. He says he will do anything once again to get a World Title shot, he turns to The Undertaker and tells him that he doesn’t care if he goes through hell itself he will get the World Title around his waist. But if Kennedy doesn’t like it then maybe he should do something about it. Cena walks up to Kennedy as both men stare eye to eye before Long splits them apart. He says that that sounds like a great idea and so next week on Smackdown we will see John Cena VS Mr. Kennedy with the winner facing The Undertaker at Backlash. Cena smiles and slowly backs off out of the ring and up the ramp. Kennedy walks out the ropes and screams at Cena before turning around to the Undertaker. Taker suddenly grabs Kennedy by the throat and chokeslams him in the middle of the ring. The show ends as The Undertaker taunts with his World Title leaving Cena looking on from outside & Kennedy down in the middle of the ring.Quick Results:- Jesse & Festus def. D & D.

Nice Smackdown with a great suprise ending, the draft has really fresened up the roster and sounds really good. I am happy with the Kennedy Storyline and hopes it continues. In My opion now there may be too many main eventers on Smackdown, Raw should have the most really as it is the Main Event show. next show should be awsome with the Kennedy/Cena match. Reply to RSW please

Monday, Week 2, April 2008This week on Raw, its time to find a No.1 Contender for the WWE Title. Last week on Smackdown, Raw's newest superstars Edge & Batista battled it out. In the end Batista walked out victorious. Now tonight on Raw Batista will go one on one with his former Evolution team mate Triple H. Which man will face Randy Orton at Backlash and what is in store for Edge now that he lost his chance?
Also this week the WWE Champion Randy Orton will be in action. Orton goes one on one with HBK Shawn Michaels. Last week Orton was given the night off while HBK had a big match against JBL. JBL & HBK seem to have different opinions over Ric Flair's retirement, could there still be more talking t be done between the two?
Plus last week on ECW, Raw was given a new Diva. Victoria moved back from Smackdown to Raw and she is determined to become the next Women's Champion. Now tonight she will get her first chance to prove herself when she goes one on one with Mickie James. Can Victoria get a win in her first match back on Raw or will Mickie James come out on top and once again face Beth Phoenix for the Women's Title?
All this and more tonight on Raw!

Monday, Week 2, April 2008Raw opens up with a recap of the draft. It then turns to a replay of Edge VS Batista on Smackdown before going to a Raw graphic for tonight’s main event between Triple H & Batista. After the pyro goes off and J.R & King hype the show the WWE Champion makes his way out.
Randy Orton comes out and tells everyone that like he said last week this is The Age of Orton and that it isn’t a mirage its destiny. He says that come Backlash he doesn’t care who he has to face. Whether its Triple H or Batista it doesn’t matter because when it’s all said and done the Legend Killer will once again walk out WWE Champion.
Triple H makes his way out to the ring but before he says anything they are joined by Batista. Batista tells Triple H that he respects him so much and their friendship means a lot, however there’s something bigger then friendship. Batista says that later on tonight he doesn’t care what Triple H has done for him in the past, all he wants is the WWE Title and he will do anything to get it including eliminating Triple H from the equation.
Triple H speaks up and says that he gets what Batista is saying and he feels exactly the same way. He is going into their match with one task and that is to become No.1 Contender. He says that for too long his throne has been empty and that come Backlash the King of Kings will rise again.
Orton comes back into it again this time telling both of them that they need to get it into their heads, nobody can end The Age of Orton and nobody can take his WWE Title away. Cena ran off to Smackdown to get away from me and I suggest you both do the same. The King of Kings has passed away and now there is a new King and his name is Randy Orton.
Orton is interrupted as Edge makes his way out. He goes to talk when suddenly Triple H interrupts him and continues talking about Orton like Edge never showed up. Edge gets annoyed and begins shouting at Triple H. He tells them that he is tired of not getting any respect. He is the Rated R Superstar, the most watched champion in history and the former World Heavyweight Champion. Edge says that he got screwed on Smackdown again and that he deserves another chance. The other three disagree and state that Edge needs to stay away from the big boys, he may have had it easy on Smackdown but it’s a whole other story back here on Raw. Edge says that they don’t believe him then tonight he will prove that he should be in the main event at Backlash. Batista & Triple H then stand in the ring facing eye to eye while Orton stands in the middle holding the WWE Title.Opening Match, Tag Team Match – The Hooliganz VS Trevor Murdoch & Lance CadeThis was quite a good match with both teams getting a lot of offense. After the beginning exchanges Murdoch & Cade took control and began beating down on London and Kendrick. Later on in the match London began fighting back against Murdoch and took him down with some nice kicks followed by a Dropsault. Both men crawled to their corners where each man got a tag. Kendrick came in along with Cade as both men went at it. Kendrick then took down Cade as Murdoch got back into the ring. Kendrick ducked a clothesline from Murdoch while London held down the top rope forcing Murdoch to go flying over the ropes. Cade grabs Kendrick from behind and tries to lift him into the air but Kendrick rolls out. He then grabs Cade by the head and runs up the turnbuckle. He flips backwards over Cade and slams Cade into the mat with a Sliced Bread #2. 1…2…3! The Hooligans defeated Murdoch and Cade when Brian Kendrick defeated Lance Cade by pinfall with a Sliced Bread #2.Elijah Burke is seen backstage with a huge smile on his face. Elijah Burke tells the people that The Experience has made its way to Raw. Burke tells everyone that he is on Raw to show them why is the new face of Monday Night Raw and that The Shining Light is on his way to the top. Suddenly Chris Jericho appears. He laughs at Burke thinking his the shining light bullcrap. He says that he is the savior of the WWE and that there is only room for the Y2J experience and he had better shut that big mouth before he decides to save the Raw audience from ever, evvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvver seeing Burke again! He goes to leave but Burke stops him and tells him if he thinks he is so good why doesn’t he face him right here right now for the Intercontinental Title. Suddenly Regal appears and says that is a fantastic idea and so tonight it will be Elijah Burke VS Chris Jericho in a non title match. However if Burke wins then he will face Jericho at Backlash for Intercontinental title and its next!
J.R & King show a Backlash graphic announcing a Four Way Tag Team match at Backlash for the World Tag Team Titles. Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly defend against Paul London & Brian Kendrick, Trevor Murdoch & Lance Cade, and Cryme Tyme.Single Match – Chris Jericho VS Elijah BurkeThis was a really good match. It wasn’t given as much time as people hoped since it was on free TV however it was given long enough for a good preview for the future. Burke did well but let his cockiness get in the way at times. He would turn to the crowd or taunt in Jericho’s face however this would lead to Jericho fighting back. Jericho really tried his best however Jericho couldn’t finish Burke off after he missed the Codebreaker. Burke would fight back only for Jericho to come out of nowhere with a bulldog followed by a Lionsault. 1…2…Kick Out! Jericho couldn’t believe it as he continued on the attack. He then went to lock in The Walls of Jericho but after a few seconds of fighting Jericho was pushed back towards the ref. The ref flinched but Jericho was able to stop himself before hitting the referee. Jericho then shoved him out of the way and turned to Burke who quickly lowblowed the Intercontinental Champion and rolled him up. Burke then put his feet on the ropes while the referee counted, not seeing a thing. 1…2…3!
After the match Burke ran off up the ramp while Jericho looked pissing inside the ring. Elijah Burke defeated Chris Jericho in by pinfall after a lowblow and using the ropes.Backstage The Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels is standing by himself. HBK gets on the microphone and begins talking. He talks about him beating JBL last week and said that JBL had better take back his words about Flair. HBK told JBL that what happened between him and Flair is their own business and he will get over it in his own time. JBL has no business getting involved and he should keep quiet in future. He told JBL that if he wanted to take him behind the woodshed and finish him off then by all means he can try but when it comes right down to it JBL will be the one killed off with some Sweet Chin Music!Single Match – Victoria VS Mickie JamesAn alright match between these two. The crowd was really dead for it and neither got much of a reaction. Victoria dominated early on but Mickie came back half way through. In the end though Mickie went to the top rope but Victoria shoved her off and onto the ropes. Mickie got hung on the ropes by her neck before falling to the mat hurt. Victoria then lifted her up and hit the Widow’s Peak. 1…2…3!
After the match Victoria got on the microphone and told Beth Phoenix that come Backlash there is a new Glamazon on Raw! Victoria defeated Mickie James by pinfall with a Widow’s Peak.Single Match – Shawn Michaels VS Randy OrtonThis was a really good match. Both men went back and forth for a quite a while. Randy Orton then gained control and dominated HBK for a while. Orton held HBK down with a lot of headlocks and armbars while HBK tried to escape them. He almost broke out of a headlock but as he came off the ropes Orton hit a really nice dropkick to keep him down. Later on I the match HBK dodged a clothesline and hit his Flying Forearm Smash. HBK then does a kick-up to get back to his feet as the crowd goes crazy. Shawn then climbs the top rope and flies off hitting a Diving Elbow Drop from the top. HBK goes crazy as he gets into the corner and begins beating his foot on the mat waiting for Orton to stand up. Suddenly JBL comes running to the ring and climbs onto the apron. Instead of hitting Orton with Sweet Chin Music he ends up turning around and kicking JBL right in the face forcing him to fall off the apron. Shawn then turns around as Orton jumps into the air trying an RKO however Shawn stops it as he shoves Orton away and onto the mat. Orton gets to his feet as Shawn tries to come out of nowhere with Sweet Chin Music. Quickly Orton ducks it, goes behind HBK and then as he turns around Randy Orton hits the RKO. 1…2…3!
After the match JBL gets into the ring and begins slapping Shawn in the face. He yells at him saying his washed up and to never think his better then the Wrestling God. He then helps HBK up but once his to his feet, JBL runs into the ropes and comes back off them towards Michaels. He hits a huge Clothesline from Hell that almost knocks HBK’s head off. He then taunts Michaels as he stands tall in the ring. Randy Orton defeated Shawn Michaels by pinfall after an RKO following distraction from John Bradshaw Layfield.A video begins to play. Random footage of some unknown man flashes across the screen. It then finishes and displays the name Paul Burchill to end the video.
Backstage Edge is being interviewed by Todd Grisham. Todd asks Edge that now he can’t become No.1 Contender what he is going to do. Edge gets annoyed with Todd and tells him that he needs to shut his mouth and show some respect, he is the Rated R Superstar and if he wanted he could easily become No.1 Contender. He got screwed on Smackdown again just like Wrestlemania and he is sick of it. Starting tonight The Rated R Era will rise again and soon enough it will take over The Age of Orton when Edge wins the WWE Title.Single Match – Triple H VS BatistaThese two had a really good match and great chemistry together. Both men shook hands at the start of the match however Triple H took advantage and quickly kicked Batista in the midsection and beat down on Batista. The match went back and forth between both men for quite a while. Both got a lot of offense and a lot of reversals between the two. Later in the match Triple H almost got the win when he locked in the Indian Deathlock however Batista overpowered him and broke free of the hold. The match continued this time with Triple H in full control. He hit a Spinebuster and did his usual taunt before lifting Batista up and setting him up for the Pedigree. Batista suddenly reversed it as he threw Triple H over his shoulders. Batista then hit a Spinebuster of his own before doing his shaking the ropes taunt. He then waited as Triple H got to his feet before lifting him up to hit the Batista Bomb. Triple H broke out of that and fell to his feet on the mat. Batista turned and went to hit Triple H with a spear however Triple H moved and Batista speared the referee out of his shoes. Batista turned around and walked into a kick to the midsection. Triple H then went for the Pedigree but Batista again reversed it but this time he lifted him into the air and onto his shoulders. From there Batista delivered a devastating Batista Bomb however he could not get the pinfall with the referee out. Batista dragged the ref around the ring to revive him which actually worked as he slowly started coming to. Suddenly from the back came the Rated R Superstar Edge. Edge got into the ring and as Batista turned around he got hit by a huge Spear from Edge. Edge stood over Batista’s body with a smile on his face until suddenly Triple H came up and threw Edge over the ropes. Triple H looked down at Batista knocked out on the mat and then at the ref who was crawling over. Triple H quickly covered Batista as the ref slowly counted. 1………2……….3!
After the match Triple H leaves the ring to celebrate on the ramp. Edge gets back into the ring and stares down at Batista. Edge then begins beating down hard on The Animal with stiff punches to the head. Edge then goes outside the ring and grabs two steel chairs. Triple H looks on from the ramp and is about to come to Batista’s rescue when suddenly he smiles and backs off leaving Batista by himself. Edge places a chair under Batista’s head and raises the second chair into the air. Edge slams the chair down hard onto Batista hitting a One Man Con-chair-to. Edge then delivers a second followed by a third Con-chair-to. Batista begins bleeding as Edge stares down at his lifeless body. Edge drops the chair and holds his arms in the air as Raw come to an end. Triple H defeated Batista in by pinfall following interference from Edge.Quick Results:- The Hooliganz def. Cade & Murdoch.
- Elijah Burke def. Chris Jericho
- Victoria def. Mickie James
- Randy Orton def. Shawn Michaels.
- Triple H def. Batista.

Raw was a great read, Jason. The opening promo was awesome, you really try to put alot of detail in to it and it makes it ten times better in my opinion. Orton, Edge, Batista and Triple H all on Raw can add up to some classic matches for 2008 in this diary.
The opening match was good enough, nice to see Brian Kendrick and Paul London get a win on Raw, they are really misused on Raw at the moment, shame they arn't tag champs in real life. I hope their winning ways continue.
The Elijah Burke/Chris Jericho segment was great, sounds like a great match in my opinion as well, it's awesome to see Burke on Raw and I can see him winning the Intercontinental title at Backlash so Jericho can move back towards the WWE championship.
Well, the right man won the match in my opinion. Nice finish as well, keeps Jericho over in my opinion. I see Jericho pinning Burke in a tag match soon before Backlash only for Burke to win the title at Backlash.
Victoria winning against Mickie James is alright, have to say, I prefer Mickie but there is nothing wrong with Victoria, she deserves another run with the woman's championship and I can see it happening in this diary.
Nice Shawn Michaels' promo, exelent way to start the feud as well, using Ric Flair, I expect after Backlash there will be no more mention of Flair though.
Awesome match between Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton, some might complain about getting it on free tv but you have to at times, to keep them watching, same could be said about the main event to be honest. Orton getting the win is good, makes him continue looking like a strong champ. I can see Orton retaining the title at Backlash, but I wouldn't be surprised if he loses, the aftermath was great, JBL vs Michaels is going to be a brawl more than any thing else and I could see either man winning, but I would prefer Shawn to.
The main event was solid, was that a triple H heel turn? I hope so, the ending was great, Batista still looked strong as he didn't lose to a clean finish but the attack afterwards made him look.... human, taking three con-chair-toes is badass, I presume he won't be on Raw next week to sell the injuries.
Solid show, really looking forward to Backlash Jay.

Raw was good, with every match sounding like a great one. HooliganZ winning is cool, I'm glad you put them over C&M rather than the other way around. Burke on Raw is sick, and an IC title feud with Y2J is just pure awesomeness. I hope you keep a feud with them going for a decent amount of time. Victoria on Raw also is good, and hopefully she gets the womens title rather soon. HBK/Orton is great, especially on free TV!
