Check your Walmart. G I Joe now has a vinyl line just like WWE and MOTU. They are 12.93 each The blind boxes by Loyal Subjects?

Alright guys, I assume most of the GI Joe figure fans played with Joes when they were kids. So just for fun, I've got a question for everyone.
Which of your Joes O rings broke the most often?
It was a common occurrence to have one of mine or my brother's Joes to break, and we would wait until our dad was able to fix them. After a while and a few times watching him, we both learned how to fix them. We used regular rubber bands, I wish we would have thought to buy some O ring bands. But we just used the rubber bands we already had in the house.
But the one that broke the most for me was the original Iceberg figure. I think he broke at least once a year when I was a kid. And if I dug out my box of GI Joes right now, I would almost guarantee that he would be broke right now.

The figures that broke the most on me were the 1997 Snake-Eyes/Storm Shadow/Lady Jaye 3pack and the 6pack of Vipers from 2006 I think that were a TRU Exclusive. All O-rings will eventually break and I phased out most of the O-ringed figures in my collection for 25A/30A/ROC/Retaliation/50A/etc figures.

I don't remember any breaking on Joes. Maybe Gung Ho or Torpeedo's did. but I will say back in the 70's many of my 12" Joes and Megos had their elastic holdinf their bodies together break.

The only two that I can remember for sure were my original (straight-arm) Hawk and Scarlet.

I remember breaking the thumbs of a couple figures when trying to get them to grip a gun. Only happened to figures from the first series. Either I got more careful or Hasbro improved their plastic.

My brother and I would have the occasional Joe thumb break off. My brother's Outback figure's fingers broke, instead of the thumb. Only one I've ever seen that happen to.

Not just GI Joes suffered from broken thumbs my Mego 3.75" Chips and Dukes of Hazzard figures all had their thumbs break off.

Oh yeah, the only two thumbs that I had break were my straight-arm Flash and Grand Slam... I figured that it was the mold itself, since they both had the same body/arms/legs.

God reading this thread and watching the old ARAH show makes me miss my old Joes and the old days of owning Joes ('84-'90) I had all of the major Cobra lines of command and all the different vipers and stuff and the major Joes and most of the other Joes too. Strangely my favorites were Footloose (I always pictured that being what my dad looked like in Vietnam right down to his mustache) and Beachhead (I loved the ski mask). My favorite vehicle was the Rolling Thunder.

Really hope Mezco can score a deal for the One:12 line. I’d be broke but very happy.

TNI- "Deadline reports that Paramount has announced release dates for three Hasbro based movie properties.
The long-awaited third G.I. Joe film will be slated with a March 27, 2020 release while Micronauts will hit theaters on Oct. 16, 2020 followed by a Dungeons & Dragons live-action movie which will see release on July 23, 2021. They also state an unnamed Hasbro based title will see release on Oct. 1, 2021. No word on what it will be but our money is on a M.A.S.K. feature film.
The best news about these movies is the likely hood that they will be accompanied by new toylines at mass retail are extremely high."

There was a reveal of new figures. But you had to sign up for one of those subscriptions that nobody really wants to do... Not sure why Big Boa got a name change.

Kangor was a Brazilian figure made from the Big Boa mold. And although I like a lot of the figures in this set, I would never sign up for the subscription service. The figures wind up costing all but 40 bucks a piece.

Hasbro's trademark for Big Boa probably expired as well
