Just about to finish up the Kyoto arc on Kenshin for the millionth time.
IF YOU HAVE NEVER WATCHED THIS SHOW WATCH THIS ARC. It's some of the best anime you'll ever see, regardless of your genre taste.

So I'm almost done with the Child of God arc in Kenshin, then I have to finally watch the damn OVA that has been sitting in my shelf forever.

Does anyone like Azumanga Daioh? Something I've not heard of? Impossible.

So I've watched Rurouni Kenshin and Samurai X, both versions, way too many times that I can even tell the translation differences for each one. I've read all of the manga. I watched the first OVA. I knew how the story ended.
I still REFUSED to watch Reflections to actually see how the story ends. Broke down after a six year battle of saying no and finally watched it.
My heart has been forcefully removed from my chest. I knew the ending. I accepted the ending. After finally watching the ending I'm a mess.

Does anyone like Azumanga Daioh? Something I've not heard of? Impossible. It's a really funny slice of life series that was originally released in comic strip style segments. They made anime out of it as well. I ended up getting both the DVD and omnibus. It's basically a goofy bunch of high schoolers and their ridiculous teachers. There's tons of great gags and character bits.

Well I finally finished Assassination Classroom. Fantastic ending. The real backstory of Korosensei literally was a massive curveball. I loved it.

Finished watching Ghost Stories dubbed version and it's still one of my favorite dubbed animes, if you haven't watched this and have a weird sense of humor I highly recommend watching.

GUYS! Just hear me out... Dragon Ball Z! Hate it or love it, you have to watch this! I never loved YouTube this much. Warning: not for kids! None of the abridged anything is for kids. And half of the time, it is better than the real thing. See: this video.

I feel like it takes me forever to get around to watching shows everyone goes on about. I finally watched One Punch Man and loved it.

Netflix Aus FINALLY has: Rurouni Kenshin Ajin: Demi-Human Kuromukuro ...I've drifted away from anime for a bit; these should get me right back in there... Kenshin is my favorite ever. Enjoy. So, I was really enjoying Melancholy until the stupid ass Groundhog's Day arc that went on six episodes too long for me.

Sinbad is terrible. Don't subject yourself to that. Right you are. There's a bunch of other stuff here; think I'm good with the original three I mentioned for now... Kenshin first! I need a Kenshin buddy on here!

Kenshin first! I need a Kenshin buddy on here! On it. I love the time period it's set in, the Meiji era. Battousai (Kenshin) is pretty interesting so far. Yeah. A lot of early Kenshin is just filler, it's not until the Opium arc that the show really picks up and you learn a lot more about Himura when Aoshi comes around. Then comes New Kyoto which is the best arc in the history of any anime bar none so...you're in for a treat. Also if you like the period, you'll love how a lot of what happens in the anime story telling wise actually happened, the Shinsengumi, Sekihotai; hell Hajime Saito was a real person. Pretty cool stuff.

Saw this a bit ago. With Crunchyroll opening up a whole new dubbing division, and having the licenses to a bunch of new anime we can get some seriously great voice acting on a bunch of shows. Can't wait.

No worries, cheers. Yeah, I love the history of feudal Japan and this is right up there. Kinda makes me want to revisit Ninja Scroll again too...! Kuromukuro made me laugh - it shouldn't, but it did. A time-displaced shogun facing new-age mechs ravaging Toyama Bay - all while buck naked. Sounds like an adult Samurai Jack.

R.I.P Michiyo Yasuda. She was 77. One of the most amazing colour artists in anime I've ever seen. (Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Ponyo, etc) Aww man. Fantastic artist.
