Tool and the Red Hot Chili Peppers for sure. They just make great albums consistently.
I would like to add Korn and Green Day, but they both seem to have hits and misses in their catalog.

Definitely Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl will be a part of the music industry in some form or another until the day he dies - that band will be remembered.
Tool will definitely withstand the test of time.
Green Day, definitely. Red Hot Chili Peppers as well.

I see the Foo Fighters being the Led Zeppelin of our generation.

Radiohead has already made their mark and will be future hall of famers.
A few others: Foo Fighters, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Arcade Fire (if they stick around), Coldplay, White Stripes, Linkin Park (again, if they stick around).

Radiohead has already made their mark and will be future hall of famers. Yeah, they became legends when OK Computer came out.

Arcade Fire is the only "NEWER" band that comes to mind.

Its hard to tell. Seems like people have different interpretations of "newer." From my part time work as a DJ, I can tell you that The Killers songs, especially most of "Hot Fuss" go over well with a lot of different audiences. I can see them being a really big band in the future.

Murder By Death They're all making amazing music right now, which really isn't being appreciated, but I could definitely see future generations getting into them heavily. Definitely can say this about MBD. Saw them open for Clutch. No one in the crowd excluding a few friends and me really had an idea who they were, but by the end of their set everyone was into them. Adding to that Foo Fighters (Even though it is pretty obvious) Arcade Fire The Killers

The only ones I think will be looked back on as "legends" 20 years from now will be Tool, Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews Band, and Incubus.

The only ones I can think of are Green Day, Foo Fighters, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. I haven't heard any bands that are newer than those that are actually memorable.
