There's talk of a Avengers movie once the rest of the members get their movie. Thor & Antman are up next. Only one without one yet will be Cap.
If they do indeed go with the Avengers movie it'll be a mix of Ultimate & 616 seeing they used Ultimate Fury who is based on Jackson. And the more realistic route with Cap would be his Ultimate version.
Iron Man II is scheduled for 2010 as long as I goes good, which I totally see happening.

Just got back from an early showing. I thoroughly enjoyed this film. Robert Downey Jr. completely nailed the Tony Stark character. I was iffy about him at first, but he really impressed me, and now I can't imagine anyone else playing that character. The only thing I didn't like was Jeff Bridges as Stane. Don't get me wrong, he did a good job, but I just can't take him seriously as a villain. I kept expecting him to say, "That Iron Man pissed on my ing rug, man!"

So what's the scene after the credits? Since I won't want to sit through 15 minutes of writing.

The movie was amazing.
Nearly perfect.
The Dark Knight trailer played before it, and it was the NEW one.
The trailers for my theater were: The Dark Knight, Prince Caspian, Don't Mess with Zohan or whatever, The Love Guru, and Indiana Jones.

Saw a late showing of it, gotta say that I loved this movie. Granted it's hard to judge something fairly the first time you see it, but I already have to rate it easily in my top five of comic movies, maybe even top three behind Batman Begins and Sin City. Also, I'd advise anyone who hasn't seen it to stay after the credits, it's WELL worth the wait. I'd also advise the poster above me to maybe edit his post as not to spoil it for those who haven't seen the movie yet.

I loved it, every second of it. Most summer movies aspire to be this good, and most fail. Dark Knight has something to live up to now.

I walked in during the Prince Caspian trailer, but the rest were just like you saw, looks like a missed the Batman trailer

I didnt see a batman trailer when me and my gf went to see it As for the movie, I LOVED it...Downey as stark was so spot on and really he played the part to a t. My gf was dreading going to see this as she isnt a big comic fan at all and isnt up to par on her superhero knowledge, but she walked out of the theater asking to see it again

The movie was so great!!!!!!
I was a little annoyed because the theater that showed the later showing had Dark Knight and Hulk trailers, while mine didn't but whatever.
The movie was amazing, the cast was great and Downey was amazing as Tony Stark. If there wasn't so much coming up (both new and classic movies) that I want to see, or if theatres were cheaper I'd be seeing it again, but oh well.
And yes, the eventual plan is an Avengers movie. SLJ was awesome at the end...
If any of you leave before the credits end, you'll be shot!!!
