Apparently, you're not allowed to call a black guy "boy." Also, one could argue that Hayes was implying Obama was illiterate. One could argue that he was implying? Are you intellectually- disabled, he's basically saying he's illiterate. I can't imagine someone arguing otherwise, seriously for you sake I hope that it was just an expression and you weren't suggesting that's not waht Hayes meant. As for the "boy" comment. For ages "boy" has been a derogatory term for black men, now I'll agree that in what context Hayes was using the term is highly debatable. Hell I'll even give him the benefit of the doubt, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't be conscious of what he's saying. I mean the guy's on thin ice as it is, censor yourself for God's sake. He should be aware that what he's saying could offend people. And before someone goes off about the 1st amendment, for the most part all that is null and void in a work atmosphere. This is a business and there is no excuse for this behavior, boot the guy, he's a joke. intellectually- disabled? Excuse me? Far from it. I used terminology like "apparently" and "one could argue" because I'm not black, nor am I racist, and therefore I'm no expert on what's racist or not. I can only opine on what I'm told or what I perceive or infer. |

I'm sitting here playing the world's smallest violin for everybody who continues to cry about this. GTF over it. We're talking about a guy who wore a confederate flag his entire wrestling career and is from the south and all of a sudden, it's a big f'n shock that he uses racial slurs. Today's society is so damn sensitive it makes me sick. You do realize as much as "closet" racist want to point out the confederate flag is "racist" any real Southerner will admit its just part of our heritage and has NOTHING to do with racism. Thats like sayin any black person that wears a Malcolm X hat or shirt is a racist....Just shows close mindedness and the inability to realize the surroundings of the real world. |

given all the attention this situation has received what attention? the same internet buzz that WWE usually brushes off and laughs at? it won't make a difference, never has, esp since most of the "news bulletins" on those sites are completely false and contrived on a daily basis anyway |

The dose of irony here is Michael Hayes is a jew. I remember reading that on Wikipedia a while back. His real name is Michael Seitz. Lat time I checked most southern racist types stereotypically werent fond of jews either. Where does he get off being a jerk to any of the black wrestlers or anyone else for that matter? I mean i wouldn't think the life of a southern jew would be easy but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe in his world its ok to treat others like crap when his own people have been persecuted for centuries... Anyone have anymore info on this?
