I think i almost had a heart attack when Ronaldo missed the penalty. I was hoping and literally on my knees praying to god that Terry Missed and he did. What a great game for a United fan. Vidic played the best IMO

Incredible game, so glad weve won it. Could have gone in at half term 3-0 but credit to chelsea for turning it around.
Did feel for Terry and Lamps, they didnt deserve to lose, I just wish it was Drogba who missed that pen instead of Terry.
Still, weve done it, champions of Europe again and fully deserved imo, Undefeated in 13 CL games this season speaks for itself.

What a mentally exausting game to watch, so many emotions.
I still can not stop laughing at Terry, could not have happened to a better guy, I mean he spit on Tevez

Well I thought I'd brave posting here, although I really am lost for words still.
I don't honestly know what it's going to take to win the European Cup. I thought the boys played brilliant last night, dominated play and bossed the pitch the last 75 minutes. Everything was written for us to win during the game, Lamps scoring for his mother, Terry's heroic clearence off the line, Cech's double save, Ronaldo missing the penalty, and Terry stepping up to win it for us...
The moment he missed I cried. Could not believe it. I still can't. We make things so difficult for ourselves in everything we do, whether it's Europe or Domestic Competitions. I don't understand why Essien didn't have Terry's Penalty, Carvalho or even Anelka. I don't think Nicola would have missed that one. Shevchenko would have put away a pen, he won it for Milan that way.
In all seriousness I'm worried about what's going to happen now. The Club's situation, the Manager, the Players. I mean I've come to terms with Grant now, but if Mourinho won 2 Trophy's and left, I fear for Avram. If he goes, I only want to see Mancini or Huddink in the seat.
Didier Drogba, looks set to leave now. I don't think there will be too much effort to stop him either, and if he's going to leave in the future, now's the time to do it if we want a good price for him. I think him getting the red card in Moscow, may have been the final straw for him, and Abramovich. He hasn't really got much else to prove now, and he's reached his peak, and won everything there is to win in England. As long as we can find a suitable replacement in Samuel Eto'o, Huntelaar, Ibrihimovich etc, we should be fine.
I hope we can sort Ricky Carvalho a new deal out soon before he leaves for Real Madrid or Italy. If he does go though, Ivanovic will take center stage next Season at Center Back alongsde Terry. I think Lampard will stay. If he won Europe last night with Chelsea, it may have been his last game for us.
Enough of this little rant anyway, and back to the Champions League. It's Rome next year, and I think as long as we do well in the League next year, we should have the confidence to reach the final again.
I've never felt so gutted in my life last night, and can't stop thinking about it even now. It will take a while to get over this, but W'ell keep the Blue Flag flying high...

Was a very good game, and such a hard way to lose. Gutted.
John Terry is a Chelsea legend and will bounce back from this. Had tears in my eyes when he stepped up to take it, and was absolutely lost for words when he slipped & missed.
Although we didn't win it this time, I'm still proud of the team.
KTBFFH.

Considering he spat at Tevez, Terry got what he deserved. Nothing sweeter than that joker missing a penalty. It tires me how him and Lampard think there some massive heroes. off Chelski. People like Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs are worthy Champions League Winners. Vidic was my man of the match. Was overjoyed when we won. Van Der Sar to the rescue in the shootout. I think overall on the season we were wothy winners. Glad Saha didnt get a medal. He is a complete waste of space. Gutted for Park though.

When Ronaldo did for trying to be a cocky crap.

I can understand Terry's reaction, Tevez is an ugly bastard scared him into an inhuman state.

Ronaldo is a cocky bastard? Don't confuse confidence with arrogance. Why wouldn't he be confident? He's scored 42 goals this season. Terry has been getting away with murder for seasons now. It's about time he got a visit from the Karma police.
