I hate the internet! I wish I never came to WF but it is like an addiction. The internet is what killed wrestling, imo. TBH, If internet was never invented wrestling would be amazing. Then disconnect it if you hate it so much. Nobody is forcing you to do anything. God, I'm so sick of whiny people who blame the net for their own choices.

I think Raven said it best in a shoot interview i saw. "Smarks think they know whats going on, but are way off!" From my experience in the wrestling business i agree with Raven. And you guys can call it whatever you want but smarks are still marks therefore you have to be a mark to be a smark. Marks.

I don't want to say that the "Internet community" ruined wrestling for me, I can think for myself. I'll admit that yes, I have become a little more critical of wrestling, but I don't nit pick.

The thought that the internet can mold one's taste and thereby ruin one's enjoyment in pro wrestling comes off so melodramatic to me. If you are critical of the product, it's only because you agree with the opinion that the product is worthy of criticism... not because the internet opened a pandora's box of information forcing you to watch in a less-enjoyable way. That's a lame excuse.
If the internet wasn't around, your tastes would change anyway as you mature. As people mature we become more receptive to analysis. We question things instead of taking them for granted. Realism becomes preferred over fantasy. Excitement becomes preferred over comfortability. If the internet wasn't around, most wrestling fans watching today's product would 'grow out of it' so to speak. It's the internet that adds those extra dimensions to the industry... who's the better wrestler? who's gonna get signed? fired? who failed the wellness policy? who is dating who? It's these extra dimensions that are needed to hold those fans' interest. Bottom line... if you're crying that the internet ruined wrestling for you, you most likely would've left it a long time ago had it not been for the internet.
