He's the kid he visits in the hospital that the article mentions.

That sad to see what has happen to his life, but he was a horrible wrestler and even worse on the mic. How can you people say he was one of your favorite wrestlers?

I feel bad for the guy. Hopefully he can make enough of a recovery to atleast be able to walk or shave that doesn't take 30 minutes. I can't say he was one of my favorite wrestlers because he wasn't. But I don't wish that on anyone.

People like Hogan, and he was a crapty wrestler, too. Favorite doesn't necessarily mean that they were great, or anything. I, by the way, am a mark for the Lex Express.

LOL How can you be a lex lurger fan and say hogan is a crapty wrestler? So much irony. Hogan sold out arenas with that leg drop. He is truly a real charismatic wrestler. Stone Cold was a mediocre wrestler, but he knew how to work the crowd plus was very charismatic. Lex Lurger has no charisma or can he wrestle. Therefore I don't know why people would like him. You should see some of the shoot videos from RF. A lot of people bury him.

Some one else said they liked Luger, but that doesn't mean they were implying that he was a great wrestler. Big difference there. Hogan could work decent WRESTLING matches in the 80s, but he was by no means an excellent athlete, or WRESTLER. Austin prior to his neck surgery was an excellent technician, so no need to respond to that. Also, who cares what other people think about a guy? If you don't like the Lex Express, you aren't American, or masculine.

If you don't like the Lex Express, you aren't American, or masculine. Austin an excellent athlete? He was a mediocre wrestler. That is why he never made it in WCW. Austin wasn't liked because he was a "excellent technician". Owen borke his neck when he was on the way to the top. He didn't make it to the top until 1998. That was his prime. And he sure he'll couldn't do a lot of things he could before the broken neck. Hogan is the most famous wrestler. And he is an excellent wrestler. A wrestler is someone that can entertain the fans. Whether it be hardcore, high flying, or charismatic. Once again you didn't read what i said. I don't understand how people can like a wrestler who had no charisma or couldn't wrestle. It's like saying you like The Great Khali. Who the hell likes or care about him? Maybe if you were a 10 year old Indian boy.

Hopefully he recovers 100% and makes a return to wrestling in some form. It's better than him being added to the other list of wrestlers. Also I always loved The Torture Rack. It's such an unique finisher.

I hate to be the one to say it, but what the hell i'm going to say it anyway. If you abuse drugs for long enough and abuse your body it will eventually catch up with you and you will be in a pretty ****ty state ala Lex Luger. Doctors have told Luger that previous substance abuse problems had nothing to do with his spinal trauma.Well the drugs aren't to blame but yeah all that abuse in the ring. Maybe the drug abuse isn't the reason for it alone, but it will of certainly contributed and that's the end of it.

Noooooo.....when the doctors said it had nothing to do with it, they mean that it had NOTHING to do with it. The injury is a result of years of physical wear and tear from football and wrestling. Drugs had absolutely nothing to do with it.
