All you people mocking him are quite funny. The man has been the voice of the WWE for many many years on Monday Night Raw. And incase people haven't noticed, SD is not the "A show" though many of you wish to believe that for some reason. It may be as far as talent or whatever, but as far as the WWE is concerned Raw is the flagship. And if I was JR I'd be pretty pissed off. He was the main guy for years and he wasn't even informed of the pick before hand. Granted, that makes for better television, of all people he should have been informed. If he quit, which he already said he wont, I wouldn't be mad at him. I don't believe SmackDown! is the "A" show. What I said was that the WWE is supposed to present each brand as equal in the WWE Universe. In their world, no brand is better than the other. But they're going to allow Jim Ross to go on the Internet on his blog, and on their own website, and bitch about it? The guy's a pompous buffoon, and he needs a reality check. Real quick.

Poor JR now he has to act bored and not care about anything on SD and not RAW. IMO JR lost it after lawler came back in 2001.

You guys would feel the same damn way if your company demoted you. Going from a Live broadcast to one that is recorded and then put in post production isn't that great.

I hate Michael Cole's ing voice. Trust me, you aren't the only one. I hate whenever a wrestler gets bashed over the head with something or crashed their head into something, Michael Cole ALWAYS friggin' says "to the skull" of so and so. Plus, I hate how he says "vintage" so and so. He said it last night and it pissed me off. He said it about Matt Hardy. "That's vintage Matt Hardy" Oh shut up Cole. You should've been fired years ago when you blew the main event for WrestleMania XV. I hate this trade and I hope they can work things out to trade Cole back for J.R. Even though J.R. makes alot of mistakes, I'd rather listen to him than Cole. That's for damn sure!!

So then Matt Hardy, Kennedy, Jeff Hardy, Umaga, and HHH should think about quitting and maybe just mope around the ring like a child because they got "demoted" to the crappy shows?

Poor JR...he has one of the cushiest jobs in the world and just because he can't call the only live broadcast anymore, he's thinking of quitting. If only we all had those problems. Look at it this way, at least he'll be able to dub over all the mistakes he makes on SmackDown! from now on. Did you hear any stories of any wrestlers contemplating quitting when they were drafted last night? They found out they were getting drafted the same time JR did and they didn't mope around like he did.

Granted Michael Cole acts like an over excited 12 year old most of the time. But to be fair JR and King were very stale. Maye King and Cole on Smackdown and JR and Foley on Raw would have been better.

Personally, I see nothing wrong with what he said. He didn’t denigrate the SD! brand at all. He’s expressing his hurt at the way this was handled. From what I read, it can be inferred that there are some that are taking pleasure in moving him to SD!. It seems that “behind the scenes” this is being treated as a demotion as he makes mentions of those that he believed were acting a little off that night.
After a long and distinguished career being the Voice of Raw, and after MANY, MANY attempts at changing the announcing teams, it would have been nice if the decision makers had merely shown him a little respect and spoken to him about this. I can tell you that if my bosses told me that I would be moving to another area of the company, essentially changing how and when I do things, that I would be equally as upset, and my job doesn’t require me to travel anywhere near as much as JR’s does. Also, SD! is the more arduous of the shows as it is taped. There can be multiple takes at times and as he mentions a good deal of post-production work. When you expect someone to make this type of life change, it’s always best to talk to the person.
That being said, JR showed he is a true professional and class act by standing by his contract and his word. SD! will be all the better for it and Foley will have the opportunity to learn from one of the best.

I can't see "That gonna to be slobberknocker!" on SmackDown! really, so he need back to RAW, imo

JR has earned the right to bitch and moan. They really played him like a fool. How would you feel having a job you loved taken away from you when you were the main guy of that job for what 10-12 years. Then all of a sudden take a back seat to work somewhere else. Yes he should be happy to still be around period but the man is Raw and thats what he loves.
The WWE presents itself as all brands being equal but we all know thats BS and we all know the order of priority of brands. They should present all brands equally and sometimes they decide to do so and maybe now that Triple H is on SD they'll give SD a bit of a edge. Hell having the voice of the WWE on SD and Trips is pretty huge, but I guess we'll see what happens. Maybe if they didn't 'ban' Taker things would look better for SD.
Agree or not with him. The more I think about this, the more I feel JR will be back on Raw fairly quickly.

I've been saying it in multiple threads already, but Lawler should have been sent to SmackDown in exchange for Mick Foley.
That should have happened, and I totally understand where JR is coming from in his statement. They could have at least told him prior to the show; that's really a cheap move by Vince and the Raw writing staff.

I personally like the change, I've always enjoyed the way Cole/Lawler interact and Foley/JR seems like a good combo.
I just hope J.R. Can differentiate between Maryse and Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix and Jillian have been getting mixed up since Beth came to the WWE.

tbh, it will make Raw seem a lot....worse. I hate Michael Cole's ing voice. I know, I sometimes get confused who is talking since him and Mick kinda sound the same.

I don't blame him for wanting to Quit AT ALL. JR has no clue he was going to be switched before hand, i would have been pissed as well.

The guy is an egotistical tit, just suck it up and work Smackdown and don't bitch about it, it's all one company, you're working for the WWE, not Raw. It's not like there is nothing over there anymore, Trips, Edge, Jeff, MVP, Kennedy, lots of top guys. Smackdown has gotten a load more interesting in the last 24 hours, just do you're job to the best of you're abilities.
