Savage/Steamboat - WM3. You can lock this now. Angle/Benoit 10X> Savage/Steamboat The post asks what your favorite match ever is and Hulkamaniac's is Savage-Steamboat, it's his opinion. Angle-Benoit is good, but I enjoy Savage Steamboat as well, it's not a bad match by any means.

Preferences can't be argued but opinions can. That said, there is no best match because a match can only be measured by subjectivity. Everyone has a different answer, so in effect there is no answer.

I seen Steamboat/Savage at WM3 and personally, i thought it was overrated, i didn't even know who won at the time and i still wasn't excited.
Bret/Bulldog at In your house ?? Owen/Bret at WM10 Michaels/Flair at WM24

So then its Sable/Torrie at JD 03 Because nobody objected to that. Unless you're a queer.

I would say:- The Rock Vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin from WrestleMania 17 (The end was awesome, especially Vince McMahon handshake to Austin) Shane McMahon Vs. Kane in the Ambulance Match from Survivor Series The Rock Vs. Kurt Angle. Vs Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs. Triple H Vs. The Undertaker Vs. Rikishi in Six Men Hell In The Cell from Armageddon 2000 The Rock Vs. Mankind for the WWF Champion from Royal Rumble Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs. Triple H in the three stage of hell from No Way Out Shane McMahon Vs. Big Show in the Last Man Standing And some more.

The Bret Hart vs the Patriot series, most underrated matches ever. I wouldn't call them the best ever, but they put on some really good matches; I recently watched Ground Zero from September '97, and I was surprised they went nearly 20 minutes.

Favorite match ever would probably be either Warrior vs. Savage from WM 7, or Bret vs. Razor from RR 93.

But the opener just pumped me up big time.) Steve Austin vs. Bret Hart - WWF Survivor Series 1996 Kenta Kobashi vs. Mitsuharu Misawa - AJPW - 1/20/97 (Favorite match of all-time) Eddy Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio, Jr. - WCW Halloween Havoc 1997 (10/26/97) Tatsuhito Takaiwa vs. Naomichi Marufuji - NOAH 12/9/01 Bryan Danielson vs. Low Ki - ROH Round Robin Challenge (3/30/02) Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle - WWE Royal Rumble 2003 (1/19/03) Alex Shelley vs. Bryan Danielson - ROH Arena Warfare (3/11/06) Do Fixer vs. Blood Generation - ROH Supercard of Honor (3/31/06) Naomichi Marufuji vs. KENTA - NOAH 10/29/06 Bryan Danielson vs. KENTA - ROH Driven (6/23/07, may be a little biased because I saw it live.)
The best match ever is probably a tossup between Flair/Steamboat from 3/18/89 and Choshu/Yatsu vs. Tenryu/Jumbo from 1/28/86. If I could give two matches the six-star rating in the history of wrestling, those would be the two.
