I'm looking for some ideas, for Zelda type games, for SNES, Genesis, or GBA. Not Final Fantasy style turn based games..no turn based games preferably. I normally check google, which I did. I'm just too lazy to keep checking. Thanks.

Well, I can give you some, but they aren't on the consoles you really want. Neutopia I and II were great titles on the TG-16 that followed the Zelda formula to a T, on the NES if you can I recommend Startropics and it's sequel Zoda's revenge. All but Zoda's Revenge are available on the Wii's Virtual Console too. For the SNES, perhaps the Secret of Mana would be more than acceptable. It's one of my favorite SNES titles on the system and plays pretty similar to Legend of Zelda with some Final Fantasy thrown in, but not the combat, it's real time. If you're looking for a legit physical copy, it's not going to come in all that cheap. Not expensive, but not LoZ cheap.

You may think what the hell but I am going to suggest Jurassic Park for the Snes. It has a top down view like Zelda and requires a lot of exploration also like in Zelda. It also has some FPS parts which to tell the truth have bot aged all that well. So yeah give it a blast I will warn you though you have to complete it in a single sitting as for some intellectually- disabled reason Ocean ddecided not to put a save game feature in it.

For the NES, there's StarTropics.

For the NES, there's StarTropics. That's my favourite game. I pop it in at least twice a year. It's pretty easy to bang through in a couple of hours.. that is, once you've played it a hundred times and know all of the secrets and whatnot.

Zoda's Revenge, the StarTropics sequel, I think is even better than the original.

I couldn't get into that one much at all. It was fun, but just didn't leave a lasting impression on me.
