This is a diary with TEW 2007 using The Fall mod made by Tommytomlin on the Grey Dog Software Forums. All credit for backstory and data goes to Tommy and the people that helped him with the mod. Backstory...March 2001...At the height of their popularity, with their former enemy WCW vanquished and purchased, the WWF is riding high. It is undoubtably the most powerful promotion in the history of professional wrestling. But questions are being asked about the WCW sale. The U.S Securities and Exchange Commission begins a month-long investigation....April 2001...The wrestling world is in shock. The World Wrestling Federation is hit with a three-hundred million dollar fine, after it was revealed that Vince McMahon and AOL-Time Warner executive Jamie Kellner colluded to intentionally lower the purchase price of WCW. Stockholders and investors deserted the WWF, leaving the McMahon family with a humbled empire almost overnight. Disgraced, distraught and heartbroken, with a roster of wrestlers angry at the McMahon's mismanagement, the WWF was effectively shut down. Live events were cancelled, and television contracts were torn up. The McMahons go into isolation.
In the months that follow, promotions across the United States shut down left, right and centre. Without the support of the WWF, OVW, HWA and MCW close shop. After the loss of millions of casual fans, promotions such as JAPW, APW and UPW can't support themselves. Even promotions with a more hardcore following, such as XPW and CZW close down. Some owners say they'll be back when the industry bounces back. Others leave for good.It is now October 2001.The effects of The Fall are still ongoing, but there is cause for optimism. The National Wrestling Alliance, once facing extinction, has re-amalgamated under the leadership of Ric Flair and Dusty Rhodes. WWF loyalists Steve Austin, The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels join the returned Shane McMahon to form Fusion Pro Wrestling. And on the west coast, Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan use their connections to form the American Wrestling Federation.
This new 'Big Three' is joined by independent federations across the country, and two exciting new touring promotions. In Canada, a rejuvenated Stampede takes the country by storm. The wrestling industry has definitely bounced back from its perilous lows, but for how long?
Can you guide your promotion through the wreckage of The Fall?
Or will the professional wrestling industry collapse for good?

After The Fall, the entire McMahon family left the business in disgrace. Except Shane.
Using what was left of the McMahon reputation, and with the assistance of Steve Austin, Shane rounded up a group of WWF loyalists to form Fusion Pro Wrestling.
With a roster that includes names like Austin, The Undertaker and Booker T, and a strong junior division, the Texas-based FPW is one of the 'Big Four' promotions in North America.RosterBlue=Face Red=HeelMain EventTazz Booker TStone Cold Steve Austin Bill Goldberg The UndertakerUpper MidcardScotty 2 Hotty Al Snow Jeff Hardy Grandmaster SexayBradshawMidcardMarty Jannetty Tajiri Ken ShamrockWilliam Regal Juventud Guerrera Chavo Guerrero Jr. Brian AdamsLower MidcardBryan Clark Shannon MooreFunakiOpenerLittle GuidoScorpioEnhancement TalentBlitzkreigOccasional WrestlerMeng Vader David FinlayManagerJames Mitchell Paul BearerAnnouncerJoey StylesColour CommentatorBobby HeenanAuthority FigureDebra Williams Shane McMahonPersonalityStevie Ray Dean Malenko Stacy KeiblerRoad AgentPat PattersonJason JonesInjuredShawn Michaels - 8 Months*Pushes and Face/Heel scheduled to change over time. CompetitionNational Wrestling AllianceOne of the few bright lights of The Fall was the re-emergence of the NWA as a true force in professional wrestling. With so many small promotions closing, the NWA merged the resources of every single affiliate into one large promotion. And then, it looked to two of its alumni - Ric Flair and Dusty Rhodes, to guide it through the wreckage of the industry.
While it lacks the financial strength of its larger rivals, the NWA is the most prestigious promotion in North America.Top Talent: Dudley Boys Diamond Dallas Page Jeff Jarrett Raven Sting American Wrestling FederationThough by many to be the federation to inherit the 'Sports Entertainment' crowd, the AWF is the brainchild of long-time friends Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff.
Backed by Hollywood money, this California-based promotion is easily the most financially secure, and has secured the contracts of some of the biggest names in the business, including The Rock and Chris Jericho.Top Talent: Chris Jericho Edge Kane Scott Steiner The Rock Stampede WrestlingAfter The Fall, many Canadian workers sought refuge (and work) in their homeland. Wrestling legend Bret Hart used his name and contacts to establish Stampede Wrestling as Canada's undisputed #1 promotion.

This diary is godly as you are a saint. I got no problems with this whatsoever and everything to this point is pretty good and pure. I only dislike the spinner US title belt being used as the United States Championship.

I only dislike the spinner US title belt being used as the United States Championship. I was thinking the same thing. I like the spinner US Title in real life but I don't think it really fits at the moment. I was just going with what the game had already set up when I started, I don't know why they chose the spinner. Ill probably change it to a different one sooner or later.

Fusion Pro Wrestling WarfarE!Thursday, Week 1, October 2001FPW begins as the camera goes all over the arena capturing all the fans screaming on video. It then cuts to the titantron as Here Comes the Money begins to play.
From the back comes Fusion Pro Wrestling owner Shane McMahon. Shane gets into the ring and is handed a microphone. The camera moves to ringside where in front of the announcers table is 4 glass cases and inside each one is a title belt. One has the Junior Heavyweight Title, the United States Title, the Tag Team Titles, and the World Heavyweight Title. Shane welcomes the fans to Warfare and tells them that this is the first step on the rise to the top. Shane says how FPW is going through a shakeup and all title belts are currently vacated. He says that anybody could claim a belt and all they have to do is prove it. So over the next few weeks Shane will be in attendance to see what is going on and to see who impresses him enough and deserves a title shot.
Shane then goes on to talk about FPW Caged Fury, their first PPV. Shane announces that every match at Caged Fury will be contested in a Steel Cage match. From the start of the show all the way to the main event it will all be inside the cage. Suddenly the noise of shattered glass is heard all over the arena as the fans get on their feet to greet Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Austin gets into the ring and onto the microphone. He tells Shane that it’s great to see him and all these changes he is going to do to Fusion Pro wrestling but then says that his worked his way to the top and isn’t going to let anyone take that from him. He demands that Shane McMahon hands him the FPW World Title. Shane disagrees and tells him that he isn’t going to get pushed around by Austin like he did to his father Vince McMahon. He tells him that Fusion Pro Wrestling is his creation and he will not allow the inmates to run the asylum. Shane tells Austin that he will do as everyone else is and prove to Shane that he is worthy of a title belt. Suddenly out from the back comes Austin’s wife, Debra.
Debra gets into the ring and tells Shane that he may be majority owner of this company but she also has control of some of it. She tells him that he may not want the inmates running the asylum but he has no choice when it comes to her and Stone Cold running the asylum. Austin laughs in Shane’s face who seems pissed off. Debra then says that she has already made the first contender for the World Title at Caged Fury. She tells Shane that Stone Cold Steve Austin will be inside the steel cage for the World Title and there’s nothing Shane can do about it. Suddenly Stone Cold kicks Shane in the midsection and hits huge Stone Cold Stunner on Shane McMahon in the middle of the ring. Austin celebrates with a beer before leaving the ring with his wife.Rating: BOpening Match, Tag Team Match – Too Cool (Scotty 2 Hotty & Grandmaster Sexay) VS Chavo Guerrero & Juventud Guerrera This was an ok match. Too Cool are really over with the crowd and Chavo & Juvi got an alright reaction. The match was one sided to begin with as Too Cool took them out. Later on it turned the other way with Chavo & Juvi keeping control. In the end of the match though Grandmaster finally got a tag to Scotty 2 Hotty who came in and cleared house. He then threw Chavo into the turnbuckle and hit his famous bulldog next to the ropes. He then had it all set up as he began his long sequence for his finishing maneuver. Juvi tried running in to stop it but Grandmaster Sexay came running in and clothesline Juvi over the top rope. Scotty then finished the sequence and hit the Worm on Chavo. 1…2…3! Too Cool defeated Chavo and Juventud when Scotty 2 Hotty defeated Chavo Guerrero Jr. by pinfall with The Worm.Rating: CAfter the match Bradshaw made his way out and onto the stage. He stared down at Too Cool as they were celebrating and just began to clap. Too Cool stared back at him confused until Bradshaw then walked away.Rating: B-Single Match – Booker T VS Al SnowThis was a good match. Booker T had a ton of heel heat on him and Al Snow got a good reaction as well. Booker T dominated early on but after beating down on Al Snow long enough Snow tried fighting back. From there the match was completely even. Both men gave it their all. In the end though Al Snow dodged the Scissor Kick and took Booker T down with a back suplex. He then got Booker to his feet and set him up for the Snow Plow. Suddenly Booker T fought back but failed as Al Snow took him down again. Snow then tried again to hit the Snow Plow but when Al Snow lifted him up Booker T landed on his feet behind him. Al Snow turned around and got kicked in the midsection. Booker T then ran into the ropes and hit a Scissors Kick. 1…2…3!
After the match Booker T stood on the outside and stared at the FPW World Heavyweight Title. Booker T defeated Al Snow by pinfall with a Scissors Kick. Rating:BBackstage Stone Cold Steve Austin is sitting down with his wife Debra. Austin asks her who he will be facing at Caged Fury for the World Title. Debra says she has a few possibilities but it doesn’t matter because whoever it is there is no way they will be able to get the win. An unknown backstage worker then barges in and interrupts them. He tells Austin that Shane McMahon has ordered Stone Cold Steve Austin to wrestle in tonight’s main event against an opponent of Debra’s choosing. Austin gets annoyed at this news but Debra laughs it off and then whispers something in his ear which gets him happy again. He begins to laugh as well before throwing the guy out of the room and going back to relaxing backstage.Rating: B+Single Match – Little Guido VS Funaki This was a quick speedy match. These two ran all over the ring. Little Guido got in a little bit of offense but it was mainly Funaki who dominated the majority. Funaki climbed the top rope and Guido quickly got ot his feet and tried to get him off. Funaki though fought back and ended up kicking Guido in the face to stop him. Funaki quickly grabbed Guido in a front facelock and jumped off the turnbuckle hitting a Tornado DDT, the Rising Sun. Funaki quickly pinned him. 1…2…3! Funaki defeated Little Guido by pinfall with a Rising Son. Rating: B-After the match Funaki celebrated in the ring before going on the outside. He walked over to the Junior Heavyweight Title and placed his hand on the glass case. Suddenly out of nowhere came Shannon Moore. Shannon Moore attacked Funaki from behind and began beating down on him hard. He then slammed his head onto the announced table and then threw him into the glass case holding the Junior Heavyweight Title. The glass smashed Funaki laid motionless on the floor bleeding. Shannon Moore then picked up the Junior Title and held it in the air over Funaki’s body.Rating: CBackstage William Regal is shown standing alone. Joey Styles asks him questions about his match later on with Jeff Hardy. Regal says that Hardy is nothing more than a stuntman and that Regal will teach him the true way to fight, the British way to fight. He says that after tonight he will prove that an American is not good enough to hold the United States Title. Instead a true champion will claim it and it will be from that point forward the United Kingdom Title.Rating: B+Handicap Match – Tajiri VS KroniK (Brian Adams & Bryan Clark) This match was nothing more than a squash. Tajiri put up a good fight but he was just too small to fight them off. KroniK wasn’t too liked in the arena but Tajiri got quite a big response. Both men just beat down on Tajiri badly. Adams then hit a Chokeslam and covered. 1…2…3! KroniK defeated Tajiri when Brian Adams defeated Tajiri by pinfall with a Chokeslam. Rating:C+Single Match – Jeff Hardy VS William Regal This was a good match both men did well. Hardy was quite over with the crowd and Regal loads of heel heat. Regal was in control for the majority of the match as he used any cheap tactic to get ahead. This worked for a while until Hardy began fighting back and took Regal out. Regal ran to ringside to catch his breath. There he stared at the US Title and shouted that it will soon be UK Title. Later on in the match Regal was in control again until he tried hitting Hardy with a running knee to the face. Hardy dodged it and quickly began beating on Regal. He took him down and then went up top. Hardy dived off the turnbuckle trying a Swanton Bomb. Regal quickly rolled to the side and Hardy landed hard on his back in the middle of the ring. Regal quickly took advantage and he smashed his knee into the back of Hardy’s head. He then asked the referee to check on him and quickly took out some Brass Knuckles from his trunks. Jeff Hardy got to his feet and Regal went for a punch. Hardy ducked it and quickly kicked Regal in the midsection. Hardy had him set up as he tried to hit a Twist of Fate. Hardy turned around to hit it and Regal quickly shoved him away. Hardy went forward and almost hit the referee but stopped himself just in time. Regal then quickly punched him hard in the back with his Brass Knuckles and then hid them back in his trunks. Hardy fell to the floor and Regal quickly locked in the Regal Stretch. After a few moments of fighting Jeff Hardy tapped out! William Regal defeated Jeff Hardy by submission with the Regal Stretch. Rating:B-Backstage we see The Undertaker walking along a corridor. Suddenly Bill Goldberg shows up in front of him. Goldberg tells Taker that he just like everyone else is after the World Title. Goldberg says that he isn’t scared of Booker T, Stone Cold Steve Austin or anybody including The Undertaker. Goldberg warns him that he had better not step into his playground or he will be forced to take him out. Undertaker responds by telling Goldberg that he needs to shut his mouth. Undertaker is on his way to Caged Fury and he will defeat Stone Cold for the World Title. He says that if this is my yard and just like everyone else around here if you so much as go near my yard I will come at you and I will be forced to kick your ass and send you back to where you came from. If you want to test me then meet me in my yard next week and we shall see who the big dog is. The Undertaker walks past Goldberg and leaves him thinking about it.Rating: A*Main Event, Single Match – Stone Cold Steve Austin VS TazzAustin’s opponent was revealed as Tazz. When Tazz got in the ring and stood face to face with Austin, Austin burst out laughing and told him that he is going to be on the receiving end of an ass whooping. Stone Cold tries to sneak attack him with a quick punch but Tazz ducks it and quickly hits a suplex on Austin. Tazz then goes right to work on him forcing Austin to retreat. Austin seems a little shocked at this but shakes it off and goes back into the ring. The rest of the match is quite even with both men going back and forth. Tazz kept going one better then Austin and taking him down which Austin was not expecting at all. Later on though Austin came right back and began beating down on Tazz with some big stomps in the corner. In the end of the match Stone Cold is in control and goes to hit a Stone Cold Stunner on Tazz. However before he hits it Booker T comes running down to the ring. Booker T gets on the apron and begins yelling at Austin. Austin lets go of Tazz and walks up to Booker T. Austin puts up his middle fingers and just punches Booker T right in the face knocking him off the apron. Austin then yells some trash talk at him until suddenly out of nowhere Tazz grabs Austin from behind and locks in the Tazzmission. The choke is firmly locked in and Austin is slowly passing out. The fans are on their feet to see what happens as the ref checks Austin. He lifts his arms up but twice in a row they drop back down. He then picks it up a third time and Austin seems to be fighting it but it fails as his arm drops to the mat and the bell rings. Tazz lets go of Austin and is declared the winner.
After the match Tazz goes to the outside and breaks the glass case holding the World Title. He takes it into the ring and holds it up in the air over Stone Cold’s body while Booker T stares on from the outside. Tazz defeated Steve Austin by submission with a Tazzmission. Rating: AFinal Rating: BTV Rating: 4.65Quick Results:- Too Cool def. Chavo & Juvi.
- Booker T def. Al Snow.
- Funaki def. Little Guido.
- KroniK def. Tajiri.
- William Regal def. Jeff Hardy.

Awesome show, Star. I love the fact that Tazz defeated Stone Cold, and the fact that the Junior Heavyweight Division got to showcase what they had. I am a little confused about what Bradshaw was doing, but I guess I'll see later on. Also Taker/Goldberg=awesome.

Fusion Pro Wrestling News!Friday, Week 1, October 2001 Last nights FPW WarfarE was a success. It has drawn a lot of praise. The arena wasn't quite sold out but very close and the atmosphere was said to be really good.
Chavo Guerrero Jr. suffered a Sprained Wrist last night. He will be able to work through the injury however it will have most likely healed by next Thursday.
FPW has completed the signing of Rhino. Rhino was a free agent after The Fall. However now FPW have stepped in and picked him up. He is only signed to a Pay Per Appearance deal meaning other promotions will be able to sign him as well.
FPW is currently out on the lookout for some more Lightweights. FPW currently only has a few that are right for the Junior Title and so are hoping to sign one or two more in the next couple of weeks before Caged Fury.

Wrestling News!Monday, Week 2, October 2001We currently have the ratings of the top three promotions in the United States. American Wrestling Federation, Fusion Pro Wrestling, & the National Wrestling Alliance.
#1 - AWF=4.90 #2 - FPW=4.65 #3 - NWA=3.23
So as you can see AWF did the best ratings this week with FPW only just behind. NWA however seemed to be quite low this week compared to the other two. NWA will definitely be looking for that number to increase in the next few weeks.

The first show was awesome Star. I had never heard of this scenario before, but it is new and refreshing. I loved Tazz beating Austin in the main event, and I really wonder what will happen with Austin's opponent or opponents at Caged Fury. I like tease for Undertaker/Goldberg, a dream match of mine. Shame to see Too Cool own Chavo and Juvi, because that sounds like an awesome team. I loved Moore smashing Funaki through the glass, that was total badass.

Fusion Pro Wrestling News!Wednesday, Week 2, October 2001Fusion Pro Wrestling has completed the signing of Stevie Richards. Stevie Richards has been a free agent since The Fall and has picked Fusion Pro Wrestling to be his home. Stevie was signed to a Pay Per Appearance deal. He is expected to be part of the Junior Heavyweight Division.
Also rumors going around is that Sean Waltman AKA X-Pac was offered a contract by FPW. However it seems that Waltman turned it down saying he was too good for FPW. The word backstage is that FPW don't really care that much if Waltman has that big of an ego that he thinks his better then them and they are glad they didn't sign him.
FPW WarfarE Preview
Last week it was a new era for FPW. Shane McMahon announced all titles were vacated and that over the next couple of weeks everyone would have to prove to him that they deserved a belt. Everyone seemed after something last week but what chaos will be caused on WarfarE this week with everyone still after a title shot at Caged Fury.
Also Debra last week announced that she has control over FPW as well as Shane McMahon. Debra then went on to announce Stone Cold Steve Austin will be in the main event of Caged Fury for the World Title. Who will Austin be facing and what does Shane have in mind to stop Debra & Austin from controlling WarfarE?
The main event for WarfarE will be a huge Tag Team match. Booker T will team up with the guy he helped defeat Stone Cold last week, Tazz. They go up against two of the biggest superstars on the roster, The Undertaker & Bill Goldberg. Can Booker T & Tazz overcome these two giants and what kind of team will Undertaker & Goldberg be after their talk last week?
Finally Bradshaw has ordered Too Cool to be in the ring this week for a special surprise. What does Bradshaw have in store for Too Cool?
Catch all this action and more Thursday at midnight only on ESPN!

Fusion Pro Wrestling WarfarE!Thursday, Week 2, October 2001FPW begins as the camera goes all over the arena capturing all the fans screaming on video. It then cuts to the titantron, “Can You Dig It, Sucka!” The music of Booker T begins to play as he makes his way to the ring.
Booker T gets into the ring and gets on the microphone. Booker T tells everyone that they are looking at a 5 time, 5 time, 5 time, 5 time, 5 time WCW Champion and that he is destined to become a 6 time World Champion at Caged Fury. Booker says that he proved last week when he cost Stone Cold his match with Tazz that he should ace him at Caged Fury for the title. Booker says that nobody else has done anything good enough to get the shot. Suddenly the familiar music of Tazz begins to play as he makes his way out.
Tazz gets into the ring and grabs a microphone however before he can speak Booker T cuts him off. Booker T tells him that if he thinks he deserves a shot at the World Title he is mistaken. He did not beat Stone Cold last week it was Booker T. Austin would have beat him 1.2.3 if it wasn’t for him and that there is no way he is going to miss out on a title shot so someone like Tazz can take it. “Deadman Walking!”
The Undertaker makes his way out on his motorcycle and gets into the ring. Undertaker tells Booker T that he needs to get his facts straight being a 5 time WCW Champion means crap in this business. He tells him that Booker T is a nobody and that he isn’t ready to play with the big boys yet. He then says well done to Tazz on beating Austin however it’s nothing big. Taker has beaten him many times before and will do it again at Caged Fury when he takes back control of his yard as the FPW World Champion. Like before the music of Goldberg begins to play as he makes his way out.
Goldberg gets into the ring and tells the other 3 that he is the most dominant force in professional wrestling he was undefeated for a whole year in WCW and that he has beaten the best of the best including, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Diamond Dallas Page and many more. Undertaker suddenly interrupted him and told him that the accomplishments are nothing. His beaten Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Undertaker says that nobody is as dominant him. Then the glass shatters.
Out comes the Rattlesnake, Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin gets into the ring and tells Undertaker that his time has come and gone and that he had better get back into his hole before he opens a can of whoop ass on him. He then tells Goldberg that he is lucky he never stepped foot in WWF otherwise he would have met the same fate as everyone else and that’s a Stone Cold Stunner. He then turns to Booker T and Tazz. He tells them that Tazz better not get cocky, it was a fluke and that without Booker T he would have lost. He says Booker T had better watch his back because if he tries anything like that again the Rattlesnake will strike. He says that none of them are anywhere near ready to qualify for a title shot and that at the end of the day him and Debra makes the shots around here. Suddenly Booker T grabs him and delivers a huge Book End in the middle of the ring. Booker T then calls him a sucka before walking away. Austin slowly gets to his feet but once up he gets hit again this time Goldberg comes running forward and almost takes him out of his shoes with a Spear. He then points to The Undertaker and tells him Your Next before leaving the ring as well. Undertaker then watches him leave and walks over to Austin. He reaches down and grabs him by the throat. He pulls him up onto his feet and then lifts him into the air and hits a devastating Chokeslam. He then puts his arms in the air before leaving the ring. This leaves Tazz standing alone with Stone Cold out in the middle of the ring. He walks over to Austin and looks around. He then quickly grabs Austin and locks in the Tazzmission. Tazz keeps the hold locked in for a little while choking Austin out. He then lets him go and walks off to the back with everyone else leaving Stone Cold knocked out in the middle of the ring.Rating: AOpening Match, Tag Team Match – Funaki & Tajiri VS Stevie Richards & Shannon Moore This was a good match. Stevie Richards had a good response from the crowd when he came out as did Tajiri. Fans didn’t much care for Funaki or Shannon Moore. The match was quite even. Stevie Richards & Shannon Moore had control early on until Tajiri & Funaki began to fight back but failed. Richards & Moore tried isolating Funaki from Tajiri. Richards and Moore made frequent tags for a while until Moore got cocky and wanted to beat Funaki single handed. He shoved Richards away and tried beating down Funaki himself. Richards wasn’t going to take it though as he shoved Moore out of the way. The two began arguing leaving Funaki to quickly get to his corner and tag in Tajiri. Tajiri came in and cleaned house. He then took down Richards and began pummeling him with kicks. Funaki got taken out on the outside by Moore who quickly got into the ring and distracted Tajiri. Tajiri went after him but Moore ran away. Tajiri then turned around and Richards quickly delivered the Stevie T. 1…2…3!
After the match Shannon Moore & Stevie Richards continue arguing and both men pointed at the FPW Junior Heavyweight Title sitting at ringside. Shannon Moore and Stevie Richards defeated Funaki and Tajiri when Stevie Richards defeated Funaki by pinfall with a Stevie T.Rating: BBradshaw makes his way out to the ring. He gets on the microphone and calls out Too Cool. Scotty 2 Hotty & Grandmaster Sexay come to the ring as asked and stand in front of Bradshaw. Bradshaw tells them that he saw great things in Too Cool last week in their match. He can tell that they will definitely get a Tag Team Title shot at Caged Fury however they need opponents. Bradshaw issued a challenge to Too Cool to face them for the belts at Caged Fury. Too Cool accept the challenge however they don’t think it would be right them taking on Bradshaw alone.
