Here are some definitions of a bootleg from Google: www.google.com/search?hl=en&defl=en&q=define:bootleg&sa=X&oi=glossary_definition&ct=titleSomething made or used illegally or without authorization. In software it refers to additional copies installed on computers other than the one ... www.m2ktech.co.uk/network_glossary.htmunauthorised commercially sold product which violates the copyright holder's rights. Most common is illegally produced copies of DVDs and CDs. Most, but not all, anime DVD and CD soundtracks sold in places such as Ebay are bootlegs. anime.tonakaistudio.com/dictionary.html There are many others, go to the site if you want them. Point is. The figure is not a licensed. It is an unauthorized reproduction of a mattel product, therefore a bootleg. it is licensed. Plastirama was authorized to make the figures. dont know how much clearer this can be made to you. it's not a reproduction of a Mattel product, especially since the plastic is different and its made by a different company. you can keep trying to rationalize or tell yourself whatever you want. the figures are official. 4 people proved that to you. deal with it little kid.

Lucha Fuerte are licensed figures using bootleg molds; end discussion alright. MOTU in Argentina were made by Top Toys (licensed), somehow the molds ended up with Plastirama.
