Hey guys, So I'm pleased to announce that I've managed to collect the entire Green Card set of Hasbros (loose) for just slightly over $100 over the past month on eBay through chance finds but I started receiving them yesterday and found something odd. My Billy Gunn has a completely different colored skin tone on his head and left arm then the rest of his body. Is this a variation / error that anyone else has ever seen? Thanks

I'll get a picture soon but it is not faded because it is the entire arm (front, back, underneath) and it changes at the seem where it meets the torso. It looks like it is a diferent figure's torso or something...

Ya so see how the head and arm are a different, dull tone...what the heck???
Why would just the arm and the heard be faded but not the body or the facial hair?

I think it's quite unique Debateable loads of figs have faded pieces, does not mean its rare, but if you are the collector and think its special because its differnt then so be it. I have a few hasbro's with lighter coloured pieces, to me it devalues the fig

Maybe it is the quality of that specific peice of plastic because I've seen several IRS figures with discoloured torsos and fine arms so I don't know. If anyone wants this figure for their collection, let me know...I think I'd be happy to trade for a regular version and if it turns out that mine is supper rare, well you just got lucky...

Thats pretty weird. I finally got Gunn the other week and was mighty disappointed with it. It was in great condition, its just an awful fig in my opinion.

I couldn't agree more...why are the green carded figures so lame but so valuable? The red carded figures were way better...

the only greens i have are adam bomb, kid and billy, although admitedly bomb is pretty cool. i like the look of borga too but the gunns and yoko are just bland. i feel like just getting the red yoko and paintin it white rather than havin fork out for the green series

adam bomb and borga are my main priorities when i start the greens, i only have 4 or 5 to go for the rest of the basic collection then i'll start on the greens

Borga isn't that great...his head is slightly different colour then the torso and his short boots are actually just long boots but only painted half way so you can see laces on his shins....

Ya I really doubt mine is special...Adam Bomb is tight and I have my 123 Kid coming in the mail but Borga is a let down in my books, Billy is terrible and Bart is just Razor with a repaint and a new head...Green Carded figures are only vakluable because they didn't make enough but figures like Shango with all the tatoos, Doink with the real hair, red card Bret Hart, Giant Gonzalez, and the Honkey Tonk Man really broke the mold...

yeah i know what you mean, unfortunately we're all collectors so we'll fork out for the greenies when i was growing up yokozuna #1 was tough to find in my area (before ebay ha ha) but yoko #2 just doesn't have the same appeal

When I was in 6th grade ( really dating myself here), the only green card figures I could ever find in stores where Yoko #2 and Borga.
I picked up Adam Bomb and Evil Crush at a Toy Show in 1998 for $20 bucks a pop. 123 Kid for $40
Still looking for the Smoking Guns at a decent price. I can't justify paying top dollar for such horrible figures
