From the Newswire:
August 18th: Kensuke Sasaki and Katsuhiko Nakajima are coming to "Glory By Honor VII" in Philadephia to make this a bonafide supershow!!! ROH officials are currently finalizing their matches. They will be announced in the next week or so. Sasaki is a true legend. Nakajima is one of the most exciting young talents in Japan. They will both be in action in Philly on September 20th. Stay tuned for lots more news on Sasaki and Nakajima in ROH!!!
August 18th: ROH is going all out for 9/20 in Philly. The feud pitting Austin Aries, Jay & Mark Briscoe vs. The Age Of The Fall has been raging on. The latest development has seen Delirious join Age Of The Fall. The Necro Butcher has found himself in the middle of all these individuals. Now it will explode at "Glory By Honor VII" with the return of STEEL CAGE WARFARE. It will be Austin Aries, Jay & Mark Briscoe on one team. The Age Of The Fall will have ROH World Tag Team Champions Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black plus Delirious. The Necro Butcher will be the wild card in this bout. We will have the complete rules of this battle later this week in the ROHwrestling.com Newswire.
I suspect they will also get Marufuji and Morishima to appear in Philly since they are in the U.S. that weekend. I will be interested to see what they do with Kensuke and Nakajima.

That's the first match that came to my mind, when I read Necro was a wild card. In other words, they have other/bigger plans for him.

I would bet that Necro is in the cage match.
From ROH main page ROH officials are discussing plans possible matches for Sasaki and Nakajima. Originally, they were going to team to take on Jay & Mark Briscoe. However, The Briscoes have been added to Steel Cage Warfare at "Glory By Honor VII" removing them as possible opponents.
Some possible bouts in discussion include Sasaki & Nakajima vs. Nigel McGuinness & Claudio Castagnoli or Kevin Steen & El Generico. There is a strong possibility that they will be in singles competition. Opponents under consideration for Sasaki include NWA World Heavyweight Champion Brent Albright, Chris Hero, Bryan Danielson, Kevin Steen, Claudio Castagnoli. Nakajima is being looked at as an opponent against just about everyone on the ROH roster. Keep checking the ROHwrestling.com Newswire for the latest developments.

Sasaki vs. Danielson would be good.

I think I'd rather see them in singles matches

I think I'd rather see them in singles matches Definitely. They are draws, and don't need to be put in the same match to be seen as important. I really wouldn't have expectations, just hype, if I seen Kensuke or Nakajima, but I feel that tag matches are better left for tag teams they'd bring in. I'd probably enjoy Kensuke-Generico, and not so much Kensuke/Nakajima-Steenericho.

HAHAHAHAHA. Kensuke and Generico would be bad. I can't stand Generico. Sasaki needs to be with someone who has skill and someone who isn't just the "Ole" guy.

You think I expected a competitive match? I wouldn't say a squash, but far from competitive. Oh and the "ole" guy? Hilarious, since ROH seems to back and forth thoughts as him as a main event draw. Just saying, not defending, that the "ole" guy is far from the last guy ROH would book to have a good match, even if he'd be eaten like a taco supreme.

He's about as entertaining as that taco supreme you mentioned. The funny thing is, and I know many won't see my side on this, but I enjoy him more then Kevin Steen. Unless Steen is involved in a brawl or grudge match, Mr. Wrestling bores me.

Both Steen and Generico are boring. Everytime I see a Steen "promo" I just die of laughter.

So while we're comparing thoughts, would you take these new acqusitions and put them in tag team matches or single's matches?
Regardless of your thoughts on the Briscoes, I can see why someone would take ROH's premier tag team and put them in there with two stand-alone greats. However, I think Strong-Kensuke could get me into Kensuke Sasaki as I've always been high on Strong.
In other words, if they put Aries, or anyone who can deliver, that'd seem more memorable then a tag match where one of your "stars" is the job-guy.

Strong already has a match with Sasaki in Japan, so we'll just have to wait on that. I think for Sasaki's return to America, he needs to have a big-time match. One person who I would pick is Danielson. Danielson has proved that he can have good matches with people bigger than him (Morishima), and I do believe Sasaki better than Morishima.
As for Nakajima, he's a pretty young guy (he's only 20) and he already has been in the ring with the greats in Japan (Sasaki, Tenryu, Muto, Kobashi, Suzuki, Liger, etc), so I would say he has the ability to have a great match with anyone. If it was my choice, I would put him in with Rocky Romero.

There's a name that has quietly been sent off. Is Romero on another tour? I'd say you won me over on that suggestion, but I wouldn't be surprised if they put Erick Stevens in there with one of them. :-\

Stevens doesn't bother me at all. His matches with Strong were great I think. I just don't think he fits in with Sasaki or Nakajima.
