this was a toughie for me.I included all the teams because as you know many teams came seperataly
in the end I had to go with Demolition-Ax and Smash.love these 2 figures and not being able to take L.O.D.s pads off kept them from the top.
I do however love all my Hasbro tag teams.this was hard for me

Counting seperated teams, you forgot some: mega powers (hogan & savage), ultimate maniacs (savage & warrior), High Energy (koko & owen), hogan & warrior, heck even mega maniacs (hogan & beefcake).

I don't consider Money Inc. and New Foundation as official Hasbro tag teams since they weren't released in the same series. And if memory serves me right, I don't think the Twin Towers were still together when Series 1 came out either. I could be wrong on that one though.
Out of the remaining teams, I would have to pick the Rockers for coolest two-pack and Demolition as best tag team in an individually carded series.

I know Money Inc wasnt released together but IRS looks great with Million $ Man version 1 and 3

Mega Powers I should have included because series 1 Savage was i his MP gear-no doubt. but there is no Savage to match a Warrior for Ultimate Madness ,Birdman to match Owen for high energy or Brutus to match Hogan to form the Mega Maniacs Its a pity Hasbro didn release the Mega Maniacs Brutus.....that would have been sweet

When I seen this post, I immediately thought "Nasty Boys". I'm not sure why, they just looked really good..
Bushwhackers #2 also looked nice on display. The tan ones with hats.

I I don't think the Twin Towers were still together when Series 1 came out either. I could be wrong on that one though. I think the Twin Towers had just broken up, but Bossman #1 is still the 'fat' Twin Towers Bossman. Favorite team IMO is still the Nasty Boys. Demolition (Crush & Smash) was cool too has they had the masks.

I voted Ax and Smash although the Nasty Boys were a close second. Worst for me are the Headshrinkers and Smoking Gunns.

I love the Nasty Boys tag team figures. Those are my favorite, but I still think Demolition is my favorite of all. Not sure. To had to choose.
Is there a difference in the Smash's from series 1 and the tag team with Crush? I had got a lot and she had written Ax 1 and Ax 2, but they looked the same to me.

So this is a freakin awesome post. They just keep getting better and better on this board.
I had to go with the Nasty Boys. They are pretty unique looking and sweet figures.
Demolition got a close second. The helmets were just amazing with these figures. The best Hasbro accessory.
And 3rd Goes to my all time favorite tag team LOD. But I hated both of the figures. Grant a press slam Animal isn't too bad. But they ruined this set making Hawk a Jumper. How sweet would these have been if he was a clothesline?

the Nasty boys looked cool and so did LOD who I have always loved, but I went witrh Smokin' guns because I loved the toys and I think they were underrated. Plus Billy has always been one of my favs.

The Rockers were always my favorite WWF Tag Team set. A close second would have to be the Nasty Boys. I never found the nasty boy set in stores. I ended up picking them up at a toy show 5 years after the release.
Hasbro Series 1 was released around wrestle Mania 6, I remember picking up Jake the Snake and the Warrior when I was a little guy a few months after watching that PPV. So the Twin Towers were long gone by that time....

yeah the Towers were definately gone-no doubt about it.they had only split up a month or two prior to WM6 though.
they WERE intended to be the Twin Towers.Bossmans file makes him a heel, when the Towers split Bossman became a face instantly.
plus when these were getting made the Towers were still on the go.these probably got the go ahead in what?mid 89?

Yeah, you guys are probbaly right. When these were planned, the Towers were probably still rollin.
And Money Inc. and New Foundation do look cool together, although I wish they would have given Owen or Anvil a different pose.

i always wish they'd made a Hart Foundation Tag set, that would have been immense! i still can't get over the dissapointment that they never made a Jimmy Hart figure with megaphone accesorie....that would have been soooo cool in Hasbro style
